    Description

The Power transformers are the most vital and critical equipment in the power system, their role is to ensure an uninterrupted power supply in the installation, however, several types of faults could render a power transformer unusable or severely underrated, in the scenario, all the faults need to be monitored to ensure reliability of power supply. Due to failure modes, a root cause analysis is necessary for improving the diagnosis and analysis, likewise the new technology with artificial intelligence is important to create a new value for the company and to increase the accuracy and efficiency. Whenever a fault occurs in a transformer, gases such as CO2, CH4, C2H6, CO, H2, O2, N2, among others. Some of these gases barring CO2, N2 and O2 get absorbed in the transformer oil. Concentration of these gases in the dielectric oil can be measured as parts per million or ppm. This paper proposes an online learning based adaptive classifier. Proposal is to use a genetic algorithm, it based on action selection mechanism in a neural network reinforcement learning setup.

    Description

"Health Index. Ukraine" is a large-scale, empirical, and representative study aimed at collecting quantitative data on the population's health-related knowledge and behaviors, as well as their evaluations of healthcare service quality based on personal experiences, and tracking changes in these indicators over time. Launched in 2016, the study has been conducted annually until 2020, with five waves completed during the 2016-2020 period, and resumed in 2023, offering the opportunity to reassess key health-related issues and access to medical services amid the challenges posed by the full-scale war. The study was initiated by the International Renaissance Foundation, with the Charitable Foundation "Health Solutions for Open Society" continuing its legacy as the successor to the Public Health program. The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) has served as the executing agency for the study across all years. Key partners and donors of the project also include the World Bank (2017), the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (2018, 2019, 2020, 2023), and the World Health Organization (2023). The data for this study come from sociological surveys of the adult population, with approximately 10,000 respondents participating in each wave. The sample for each wave is random and representative of the adult population (18 years and older) of Ukraine as a whole, as well as of each oblast covered by the study, including the city of Kyiv. The topics covered by the study include health and health-seeking behaviour, early disease detection, patient experiences with outpatient and inpatient care (including questions on official and unofficial expenses), general perceptions of vaccination and specific behaviours related to child immunization, medication availability, satisfaction with medical care, and perceptions of healthcare reforms. The data collection includes datasets, field questionnaires, and technical reports describing the methodology for all six survey waves. Each dataset is provided as a separate file in SAV format and labeled in Ukrainian. Additionally, the collection includes converted datasets in CSV format, accompanied by codebooks. The study results, including comprehensive analytical reports and selected infographics, are available on the project website: https://healthindex.com.ua/

    Description

The Vegetation Health Index (VHI) illustrates the severity of drought based on the vegetation health and the influence of temperature on plant conditions. The VHI is a composite index and the elementary indicator used to compute the seasonal drought indicators in ASIS: Agricultural Stress Index (ASI), Drought Intensity and Weighted Mean Vegetation Health Index (Mean VHI).If the index is below 40, different levels of vegetation stress, losses of crop and pasture production might be expected; if the index is above 60 (favorable condition) plentiful production might be expected. VHI is very useful for an advanced prediction of crop losses.

    Description

This model combines stand density index (SDI), basal area loss, drought stress, and insect and disease surveys using an equal weight overlay. SDI determines the relative density of a stand, and was used in this model to identify where the density of small diameter trees is high. Basal area loss is defined as "the expectation that, without remediation, 25 percent or more of the standing live basal area of trees greater than 1 inch in diameter will die over the next 15 years (starting in 2005)." For the purposes of the New Mexico State Assessment, the basal area loss data layer represents areas of dense forest/woodlands with large diameter trees expected to experience mortality from insect and disease. SDI and basal area loss data layers were derived as a part of the 2006 National Insect and Disease Risk Map (NIDRM) and based on New Mexico's Forest Inventory Analysis Data from 1987-1999. Moisture stress depicts percent of normal precipitation for winter precipitation from 2006-2008 and was derived from PRISM precipitation data. Insect and disease outbreaks data was limited to past occurrence flyover data for western spruce budwrom and western tent catepillar and are based on USFS Forest Health Aerial Survey data from 1987-2008 .

The global Ocean Health Index measures the state of the world’s oceans. The global OHI score for the 2024 assessment was 69, which was quite a bit lower than last year’s score of 73. This was due to COVID-related declines in tourism and recreation [the 2024 scores reflect 2021 data]. You can explore this and other goals using the interactive map which shows how different countries and goals contribute to the global score, as well as how the score has changed since 2012.
