This polyline feature class contains the Inventory of Right of Way for Hillsborough County excluding Cities and Platted Areas.The drawings that make up the Hillsborough County Right of Way Inventory Program show platting, recording, mapping or other sources of right of way information where available. In areas where the maintained right of way limits were spotted and field data collected, the drawings provide that line work in the layer (Sv-rdrw-mant-lin, the "orange" layer) as located, in NAD 83 Adjustment of 1990 SPC grid. The field location documentation for the limits of maintained right of way layer is referenced in a separate XLS file with information as to when and by whom the limits of maintenance were spotted. The limits of maintained right of way are required to be used in the preparation of plats made to be recorded in Hillsborough County. In the case of right of way that is depicted in “modern plats” the State Plane Co-ordinate data shown on plats was used to incorporate these plats into the Hillsborough County Right of Way Inventory drawings.Definitions of Right of Way as used in the Hillsborough County Right of Way Inventory:1.) Right of Way by Deed - Right of Way Owned by Hillsborough County by a recorded deed specifically to Hillsborough County.2.) Right of Way by Plat - Right of Way that has been dedicated by a recorded subdivision plat.3.) Right of Way by Deed Exception - Right of Way whereby specific footage has been explicitly exempted from a deed.4.) Right of Way by Property Line - Right of Way whereby the property line defined by a deed follows the same line as the right of way so that both lines are co-incident.5.) Limits of Maintenance – The physical limits of the maintenance of a road as delineated by the Road and Street maintenance division of the Public Works Department, where no other right of way dedication exists or where the maintenance limits exceed the described property lines in a significant manner.
The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. Face refers to the areal (polygon) topological primitives that make up MTDB. A face is bounded by one or more edges; its boundary includes only the edges that separate it from other faces, not any interior edges contained within the area of the face. The Topological Faces Shapefile contains the attributes of each topological primitive face. Each face has a unique topological face identifier (TFID) value. Each face in the shapefile includes the key geographic area codes for all geographic areas for which the Census Bureau tabulates data for both the 2020 Census and the annual estimates and surveys. The geometries of each of these geographic areas can then be built by dissolving the face geometries on the appropriate key geographic area codes in the Topological Faces Shapefile.

This digital elevation model (DEM) is a part of a series of DEMs produced for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Coastal Services Center's Sea Level Rise and Coastal Flooding Impacts Viewer. The DEMs created for this project were developed using the NOAA National Weather Service's Weather Forecast Office (WFO) boundaries. Because the WFO boundaries can cover large areas, the WFO DEM was divided into smaller DEMs to ensure more manageable file sizes. The Tampa (FL) WFO DEM was split into two smaller DEMs. They are divided along county lines and are: 1. Tampa (FL) WFO - Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Hillsborough Counties 2. Tampa (FL) WFO - Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee CountiesThis is Tampa Bay file 2 of 2. This metadata record describes the DEM for Tampa (FL) WFO - Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee Counties. The DEM includes the best available lidar data known to exist at the time of DEM creation for the coastal areas of Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Lee counties, that met project specifications.The DEM is derived from LiDAR datasets collected for the Florida Department of Emergency Management (FDEM) and the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD). The FDEM LiDAR data for Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee Counties was collected in 2007 and 2008. Small portions of Manatee and Charlotte Counties were collected in 2005. Hydrographic breaklines used in the creation of the DEM were obtained from FDEM and SWFWMD. In some cases, the National Wetlands Inventory and National Hydrography Dataset were used to supplement breaklines from FDEM and SWFWMD. The DEMs are hydro flattened such that water elevations are less than or equal to 0 meters.The DEM is referenced vertically to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) with vertical units of meters and horizontally to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83). The resolution of the DEM is approximately 5 meters.The NOAA Coastal Services Center has developed high-resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) for use in the Center's Sea Level Rise And Coastal Flooding Impacts internet mapping application. These DEMs serve as source datasets used to derive data to visualize the impacts of inundation resulting from sea level rise along the coastal United States and its territories.The dataset is provided "as is," without warranty to its performance, merchantable state, or fitness for any particular purpose. The entire risk associated with the results and performance of this dataset is assumed by the user. This dataset should be used strictly as a planning reference and not for navigation, permitting, or other legal purposes.

The DRI feature class consists of polygon boundaries of development of regional impact (DRI) in unincorporated Hillsborough County. This dataset may now be outdated and Hillsborough County no longer updates the GIS DRI boundaries.Pursuant to Section 380.06(1), Florida Statutes, a development of regional impact is "any development which, because of its character, magnitude, or location, would have a substantial effect upon the health, safety or welfare of citizens of more than one county." A Development of Regional Impact is determined in part based on the size of the development. Numerical thresholds for different types of development are identified in Section 380.0651, Florida Statutes, and Rule 28-24, Florida Administrative Code. There are 14 types of developments which may be DRIs if they exceed certain thresholds. The types of development include airports, hospitals, mines, hotels, marinas, industrial, office and retail uses, residential projects and multi-use developments. The types and numericals thresholds are identified in Section 380.0651, F.S., and Chapter 28-24, F.A.C.
EarthData International collected ADS-40/ISTAR-derived orthophotography over Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota Counties Florida with a 1 foot pixel resolution. The period of collection was between 9 January and 20 January 2007 for the base area with the agricultural area bring flown between 17 February and 19 February 2007. The collection was performed EarthData Aviation, using a Leica ADS-40 camera system, including an inertial measuring unit (IMU) and a dual frequency GPS receiver. This project required eight lifts of flight lines to be collected, for a total of 80 flight lines. The orthophotos were rectified using the existing lidar DEM from Pinellas County and a collected DEM from Hillsborough County and was processed using ISTAR. Ground survey services in support of the project were provided by a Florida-registered professional land surveyor under the employment of Terrasurv Inc. of PA.

The Phosphogypsum Stack System layer contains the approximate boundaries of the phosphogypsum stacks in the state and the associated conveyances and process water impoundments that form a phosphogypsum stack system as defined in Chapter 62-673.200, F.A.C. Phosphogypsum stacks are formed as a means to store the phosphogypsum and associated process water resulting from the chemical manufacturing of phosphoric acid and related fertilizer products. Phosphogypsum itself is calcium sulfate (gypsum) that is formed as a by product from the chemical reaction of sulfuric acid with phosphate rock in the production of phosphoric acid. For more information on phosphate and phosphogypsum stacks, please see the information provided by the Florida Institute of Phosphate Research at http://www1.fipr.state.fl.us/PhosphatePrimer. Phosphogypsum stacks are located in four counties in Florida including Polk, Hillsborough, Manatee, and Hamilton counties. This layer was designed to provide the Bureau of Mining and Mineral Regulation and other interested parties with a graphical representation of the phosphogypsum stack systems and their relative locations in the state. This layer represents the best attempt of the Bureau to gather and verify the data but they are not error free. The layer is maintained by the Bureau of Mining and Mineral Regulation in the Division of Water Resource Management at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

This Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) LAS dataset is a topographic survey conducted for a coalition of GIS practitioners, including the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM), Florida Water Management Districts, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District, and other state and federal agencies. The goal for this project is to use the LiDAR data as new elevation inputs for updated SLOSH data grids. The ultimate result is the update of the Regional Hurricane Evacuation Studies (RHES) for the state. The State of Florida Division of Emergency Management LiDAR Survey was collected under the guidance of a Professional Mapper/Surveyor. This is a classified lidar data set, bare-earth points (class 2), noise points (class 7), water returns (class 9), and unclassified data (class 1). Class 12 contains LiDAR points removed from the overlap region between adjacent flight lines. The LiDAR data was flown at a density sufficient to support a maximum final post spacing of 4 feet for unobscured areas. This data set is a collection of smaller project areas collected at different times in southwest Florida. Specifically, the data were collected within portions of Pinellas, Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, and Monroe. In the original project 2 sections of Pasco county were used: data collection in 2004 as well as a small coastal section in 2008. The Historic Resources dataset contains the locations and basic attributes of Historic Resources inventory in the unincorporated Hillsborough County. Historic Resources are properties eligible for local historic landmark designation or listing on the National register for Historic Places. Some sites are listed on the Florida Master Site File. Some sites are designated local historic landmarks by the Board of County Commissioners but not yet listed in the Florida Master Site file. Some sites are potential historic landmarks but have not gone through the process for Historic designation.Historic Resources Review Board serves as an architectural review board for the protection of historic resources in unincorporated Hillsborough County. The review board recommends archaeological and historical sites to the Board of County Commissioners for landmark designation and reviews alterations and new construction on landmark sites or districts. This dataset contains mandatory phosphate reclamation units and information about phosphate mining and reclamation in each unit within Florida by December 31, 2013. This layer was created and is maintained by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Beaches, Mines and ERP Support Program of the Water Resource Management Division. The mines are located in Hillsborough, Polk, Hardee, Manatee, and Hamilton County. A reclamation unit is a parcel of land of varying shape and size that is designated by mining companies prior to mining and is treated as a unit during reclamation. FDEP collects data on reclamation units, including how many acres were mined, how many acres of land (split by land use) have been reclaimed, and how many acres have been released (split by land use). The term 'reclaimed' means that final contouring and initial vegetation has been completed. A 'released' designation indicates that the reclamation has been completed and deemed successful by FDEP and the site has no further obligation to comply with the requirements of 62C-16, Florida Administrative Code. The Feature Class contains polygons representing reclamation units which have been mined. Reclamation units which have not yet been mined are not included in the layer, although they will be added to future updates of the layer as they are impacted. The reclamation parcels in the layer therefore do not reflect the existing mine boundaries or the entire ownership of land by mining companies in the region. Nor does the layer reflect non-mandatory land mined prior to 1975. The term "mandatory" indicates that reclamation of the land is required by Florida law (see chapter 378, part III, Florida Statutes; all land mined or disturbed by mining operations after July 1, 1975 is "mandatory"; land mined prior to that date is designated "non-mandatory" and is not required to be reclaimed).

This data set consists of a detailed digital map of the areal extent of fields and a summary of the irrigated acreage for the 2018 growing season developed for Hillsborough County, Florida. Selected attribute data that include crop type, irrigation system, and primary water source were collected for each irrigated field.
