The property subsidence assessment dataset provides an understanding of the shrink-swell hazard at both the individual property and/or postcode level for England and Wales. It builds upon the BGS GeoSure shrink-swell data by mapping the hazard to the individual building polygon and considering the other susceptibility factors of building type, foundation depth, and drainage and tree proximity. The data consist of GIS building polygons with an overall susceptibility to subsidence score between 1-100. Scores are also classified from non-plastic to very high. Each building polygon is also scored from 1-10 for each subsidence factor (geology, foundation, drainage, building type, building storey and tree proximity). Postcode data is also available as a table showing the ‘average’ PSA score for all buildings within the postcode. The identification of shrink-swell related subsidence prone areas, alongside the inclusion of potential sources to exacerbate these phenomena, can better inform insurers and homeowners and form the basis to make decisions concerning prevention and remediation. The product enhances geological information obtained from GIP (BGS GeoSure Insurance Product) and GeoSure via the inclusion of the crucial shrink-swell susceptibility factors (proximity to trees and foundation depth). This therefore allows the derivation of a risk element for the housing stock at Building level, which is then generalised to Postcode level. INSPIRE Cadastral Parcels is a dataset maintained and produced by the Registers of Scotland to comply with the INSPIRE Directive. It is a sub-set of the Cadastral Map and contains the location of ownership polygons at ground level in Scotland. The polygons contained within the dataset are shapes that show the position and indicative extent of ownership of the earth’s surface for each registered property. Each cadastral parcel has a unique identifier called the inspire id that relates to a registered title on Scotland’s Land Register. The extent of rights and land contained within a title registered in the land register cannot be established from the cadastral parcel. This dataset is one of the outputs from an Ordnance Survey funded project to link Unique Property Reference Number in OS AddressBased Plus to DLUHC’s EPC data and to Land Registry’s Price Paid Data Set. The linkage to the EPC data had a 96% match rate. The linkage was designed to allow comparison with DLUHCs own linkage (93% match rate), and to allow for comparison and identification of barriers and issues to accurate matching.

This is a 10-metre pixel data set representing the land surface, classified into 21 UKCEH land cover classes, based upon Biodiversity Action Plan broad habitats. The pixel product is given as a two-band raster in geoTiff format. The first band gives the most likely land cover type; the second band gives the probability associated with this land cover. The probability layer is an indicator of uncertainty (0 to 100). Low values correspond to low certainty (higher uncertainty). This is the first 10m resolution land cover map produced by UKCEH. It succeeds 20m resolution classified pixel products from 2017, 2018 and 2019. The Land Survey Plans collection of c.1,520 plans consists largely of mine plans acquired by the Survey, including 492 non-coal mine plans deposited by the National Coal Board 1984-87, and copies of mine plans derived from various sources including '6-inch reductions'. The collection also contains about 500 miscellaneous plans extracted from other Land Survey records in order to benefit from specialised systems of archival storage. The Survey's collection of Northern England mine plans are being added to the LSP collection. The collection supplements the Plans Of Abandoned Mines (Other than Coal & Oil Shale) in Scotland (NONCOALPLANSCO) providing an index to plans other than coal and oil shale for Scotland. Indexed on BGS Plans Database Index. Coal Authority hold some non-coal plans for Scotland. All non-confidential data held by NGRC(N) is available to users. Mainly coalfield areas of Central Scotland.

This is the 25m rasterised land parcels dataset for the UKCEH Land Cover Map of 2019 (LCM2019) representing Great Britain. It describes Great Britain's land cover in 2019 using UKCEH Land Cover Classes, which are based on UK Biodiversity Action Plan broad habitats. This dataset was derived by rasterising the corresponding LCM2019 land parcels dataset into 25m pixels. It is provided as a 3-band, 8-bit integer raster. The first band is the UKCEH Land Cover Class identifier. Bands 2 and 3 are indicators of classification confidence. For a fuller description please refer to the product documentation. LCM2019 represents a suite of geospatial land cover datasets (raster and polygon) describing the UK land surface in 2019. These were produced at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology by classifying satellite images from 2019. LCM2019 was simultaneously released with LCM2017 and LCM2018. These are the latest in a series of UKCEH land cover maps, which began with the 1990 Land Cover Map of Great Britain (now usually referred to as LCM1990) followed by UK-wide land cover maps LCM2000, LCM2007 and LCM2015. The list is published in a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file format. This acts like a spreadsheet and although it can be opened in any text editor it is is best viewed in a spreadsheet application, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Docs or OpenOffice Calc.
If you are looking for a particular estate you can search by using Ctrl-F in your browser, text editor or spreadsheet application.
The list is updated every working day and newly advertised estates appear at the top of the list. After one day of publication, new estates drop into the rest of the list in alphabetical order.
Any estates where the Bona Vacantia division (BVD) no longer has an interest, for example, when a claim to an estate has been admitted, will be removed daily. Estates where the 30 year time limit from the date of death has expired are also removed.
BVD provides as much genealogical information as it holds on its files, subject to its obligations under the Data Protection Act and any other legal requirements. If a field is blank then BVD either do not hold the information or it may only be held in paper files stored off-site.

This is the land parcels (polygon) dataset for the UKCEH Land Cover Map of 2019 (LCM2019) representing Northern Ireland. It describes Northern Ireland's land cover in 2019 using UKCEH Land Cover Classes, which are based on UK Biodiversity Action Plan broad habitats. This dataset was derived from the corresponding LCM2019 20m classified pixels dataset. All further LCM2019 datasets for Northern Ireland are derived from this land parcel product. A range of land parcel attributes are provided. The collection consists of records of enquiries answered by the Land Survey from c.1939 to 1970, with a small number of earlier records. Pre c.1960 files relate mainly to economic mineral enquiries while files after that year relate increasingly to enquiries on geological site conditions. Enquiry records of former Leeds and Newcastle offices, relevant to UK(North), are held for c.1950 to 1992. Edinburgh Office enquiry files dated up to 1970 have been reviewed for retention/destruction and those of continuing informational or historical value have been retained as archives. Post 1970 files are confidential to BGS staff. Indexed on Land Survey Record Index (LSRI). Edinburgh enquiry files are referenced EE, (ex-Newcastle Office enquiries, EN). Covers Scotland and Northern England with concentrations in urban ares. All non-confidential data held by NGRC(North) is available to users.
