    Description

    The dataset includes 5 panoramic scans of the buildings, cultural resources, and other features within the National Park Service boundaries at Roger Williams National Memorial. The scans exist as point cloud files in Trimble Business Center. Each scan has at most 24 panoramic photographs associated with it, depending on whether it was a horizontal band or polygon scan. The points have been colorized based off the panoramic photographs and have been categorized into regions, such as buildings, ground, poles, and trees. There is a layer of points selected from the bottom of doorway thresholds to capture the finished floor elevation data. There is also a layer of points representing the elevation of first floor windows and basement windows. Each point in the layer has elevation data and latitude and longitude data associated with it. The layers are exportable into ArcGIS Pro as point layers, and the data associated with each point layer is exportable as a CSV file. The data was collected in NAD83 (2011) meters UTM Zone 19 and NAVD88. The controller used was a Trimble TSC7 data collector. Control points were set using the BOHA NTRIP base station, an R12i GNSS receiver, and a prism. Scans were completed using a Trimble SX12 scanner that was set so that points would be 2 cm apart at 20 m with a scanning distance of 200 m and a scanning radius of 1 m from the scanner. The scans were performed using the coarse resolution, stored in Trimble Access, and exported to Trimble Business Center.

    Description

    Methods:This lidar derivative provides information about the bare surface of the earth. The 2-foot resolution hillshade raster was produced from the 2020 Digital Terrain Model using the hillshade geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro.QL1 airborne lidar point cloud collected countywide (Sanborn)Point cloud classification to assign ground points (Sanborn)Ground points were used to create over 8,000 1-foot resolution hydro-flattened Raster DSM tiles. Using automated scripting routines within LP360, a GeoTIFF file was created for each tile. Each 2,500 x 2,500 foot tile was reviewed using Global Mapper to check for any surface anomalies or incorrect elevations found within the surface. (Sanborn)1-foot hydroflattened DTM tiles mosaicked together into a 1-foot resolution mosaiced hydroflattened DTM geotiff (Tukman Geospatial)1-foot hydroflattened DTM (geotiff) resampled to 2-foot hydro-flattened DTM using Bilinear interpolation and clipped to county boundary with 250-meter buffer (Tukman Geospatial)2-foot hillshade derived from DTM using the ESRI Spatial Analyst ‘hillshade’ function The data was developed based on a horizontal projection/datum of NAD83 (2011), State Plane, Feet and vertical datum of NAVD88 (GEOID18), Feet. Lidar was collected in early 2020, while no snow was on the ground and rivers were at or below normal levels. To postprocess the lidar data to meet task order specifications and meet ASPRS vertical accuracy guidelines, Sanborn Map Company, Inc., utilized a total of 25 ground control points that were used to calibrate the lidar to known ground locations established throughout the project area. An additional 125 independent accuracy checkpoints, 70 in Bare Earth and Urban landcovers (70 NVA points), 55 in Tall Grass and Brushland/Low Trees categories (55 VVA points), were used to assess the vertical accuracy of the data. These check points were not used to calibrate or post process the data.Uses and Limitations: The hillshade provides a raster depiction of the ground returns for each 2x2 foot raster cell across Santa Clara County. The layer is useful for hydrologic and terrain-focused analysis and is a helpful basemap when analyzing spatial data in relief.Related Datasets: This dataset is part of a suite of lidar of derivatives for Santa Clara County.     Dataset description: This repository contains data pertaining to the manuscript "Mawrth Vallis, Mars, classified using the NOAH-H deep-learning terrain classification system." submitted to Journal of Maps. NOAH-H Mosaics: Mawrth_Vallis_NOAHH_Mosaic_DC_IG_25cm4bit_20230121_reclass.zip This folder contain mosaics of terrain classifications for Mawrth Vallis, Mars, made by the Novelty or Anomaly Hunter - HiRISE (NOAH-H) deep learning convolutional neural network developed for the European Space Agency (ESA) by SCISYS Ltd. In coordination with the Open University Planetary Environments Group. These folders contain the NOAH-H mosaics, as well as ancillary files needed to display the NOAH-H products in geographic information software (GIS). Included are two large raster datasets, containing the NOAH-H classification for the entire study area. One uses the 14 descriptive classes of the terrain, and the other with the five interpretative groups (Barrett et al., 2022). · Mawrth_Vallis_NOAHH_Mosaic_DC_25cm4bit_20230121_reclass.tif Contains the full 14 class “Descriptive Classes” (DC) dataset, reclassified so that pixel values reflect the original NOAH-H ontology, and not the priority rankings described in Wright et al., (2022) and Barrett et al., (2022b). It is accompanied by all auxiliary files required to view the data in GIS. · Mawrth_Vallis_NOAHH_Mosaic_IG_25cm4bit_20230121_reclass.tif Contains the 5 class “Interpretive Groups” (IG) dataset, reclassified so that pixel values reflect the original NOAH-H ontology, and not the priority rankings described in Wright et al., (2022) and Barrett et al., (2022b).     ESP_035804_2025_RED NOAH-H produced corresponding 25 cm/pixel rasters where each pixel is assigned a terrain class based on the corresponding pixels in the input HiRISE image. To mosaic the NOAH-H rasters together, first the input HiRISE images were georeferenced to the HRSC basemap (HMC_11E10_co5) tile, using CTX images as an intermediate step. High order (spline, in ArcGIS Pro 3.0) transformations were used to make the HiRISE images georeference closely onto the target layers. Once the HiRISE images were georeferenced, the same control points and transformations were applied to the corresponding NOAH-H rasters. To mosaic the georeferenced NOAH-H rasters the pixel values for the classes needed to be changed so that more confidently identified, and more dangerous, classes made it into the mosaic (see dataset manuscript for details. To produce a HiRISE layer which fits the NOAH-H classification, download one of the listed HiRISE images from https://www.uahirise.org/, Select the corresponding control point file from this archive and apply a spline transformation through the GIS georeferencing toolbar. Manually Mapped Aeolian Bedforms: Mawrth_Manual_TARs.zip The manually mapped data was produced by Fawdon, independently of the NOAH-H project, as an assessment of “Aeolian Hazard” at Mawrth Vallis. This was done to inform the ExoMars landing site selection process. This file contains two GIS shape files, containing the manually mapped bedforms for both the entire mapping area, and the HiRISE image ESP_046459_2025_RED where the two datasets were compared on a pixel scale. The full manual map is offset slightly from the NOAH-H, since it was digitised from bespoke HiRISE orthomosaics, rather than from the publicly available HiRISE Red band images. It is suitable for comparison to the NOAH-H data with 100m-1km aggregation as in figure 8 of the associated paper. It is not suitable for pixel scale comparison. The map of ESP_046459_2025_RED was manually georeferenced to the NOAH-H mosaic, allowing for direct pixel to pixel comparisons, as presented in figure 6 of the associated paper. Two GIS shape files are included: · Mawrth_Manual_TARs_ESP_046459_2025.shp · Mawrth_Manual_TARs_all.shp Containing the high fidelity data for ESP_046459_2025, and the medium fidelity data for the entire area respectively. The are accompanied by ancillary files needed to view them in GIS. Gridded Density Statistics This dataset contains gridded density maps of Transverse Aeolian Ridges and Boulders, as classified by the Novelty or Anomaly Hunter – HiRISE (NOAH-H). The area covered is the runner up candidate ExoMars landing site in Mawrth Vallis, Mars. These are the data shown in figures; 7, 8, and S1. Files are presented for every classified ripple and boulder class, as well as for thematic groups. These are presented as .shp GIS shapefiles, along with all auxiliary files required to view them in GIS. Gridded Density stats are available in two zip folders, one for NOAH-H predicted density, and one for manually mapped density.     Stormwater Control Measures (SCM's) in Fuquay-Varina, represented as points. Please note that these SCM's (e.g. Wet Pond Detention Basins) are generally privately owned and maintained systems, but these are essential for mapping and understanding the stormwater drainage network sub-systems at the neighborhood level. These points do not currently contain much attribute information; rather, they are primarily an aid in locating and referencing these features, as there can be many on a single property or subdivision. Not all SCM features have been added to this dataset yet, but we are working on it. Please note that ALL public utility data layers can be downloaded in a single .mpkx (ArcGIS Pro map package file), updated every Friday evening. This .mpkx file can be opened directly with ArcGIS Pro version 3+. Alternatively, you can extract the file geodatabase within it by renaming the file ending .mpkx to .zip and treating it like a zip archive file, for use in any version of ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap software. You can also use QGIS, a powerful, free, and open-source GIS software.The Town of Fuquay-Varina creates, maintains, and serves out a variety of utility information to the public, including its Potable Water System, Sanitary Sewer System, and Stormwater Collection System features. This is the same utility data displayed in our public web map. This utility data includes some features designated as 'private' that are not owned or maintained by the Town, but may be helpful for modeling and other informational purposes.     Stormwater collection/conveyance point features in Fuquay-Varina (e.g. inlets and outlets, and stormwater manholes/junction boxes). Please note that many of the stormwater point features represent privately owned and maintained stormwater features, and these are essential for mapping and understanding the stormwater drainage network sub-systems at the neighborhood level. Please pay attention to the Subtype field to identify the different categories of public vs. private; inlet vs. outlet; and manhole types of stormwater features. Directionality (start vs. end vertices) of these line features reflects real world flow direction. The GIS data in the area of Downtown Fuquay-Varina has a lot of old and erroneous stormwater features. A project is currently underway to correct much of this inaccurate stormwater data. Please note that ALL public utility data layers can be downloaded in a single .mpkx (ArcGIS Pro map package file), updated every Friday evening.     Description

    This dataset contains a set of UAV orthophotos acquired from September 2020 to April 2023. For technical reasons the dataset was divided into 4 subsections, to be viewed together in GIS. The pictures were acquired to map soil marks. Every picture of the dataset cointains its metadata. The photos were acquired with a Mavic Air 2 and processed with the software Agisoft Metashape to generate the orthophotos. The georeferencing was made in ArcgisPro thanks to ground control points.

It was created for personal and academic use using City of Toronto Land Use Maps (2019) found on the City of Toronto Official Plan website at https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/planning-development/official-plan-guidelines/official-plan/official-plan-maps-copy, along with the City of Toronto parcel fabric (Property Boundaries) found at https://open.toronto.ca/dataset/property-boundaries/ and Statistics Canada Census Dissemination Blocks level boundary files (2016). The property boundaries used were dated November 11, 2021. Further detail about the City of Toronto's Official Plan, consolidation of the information presented in its online form, and considerations for its interpretation can be found at https://www.toronto.ca/city-government/planning-development/official-plan-guidelines/official-plan/ Data Creation Documentation and Procedures Software Used The spatial vector data were created using ArcGIS Pro 2.9.0 in December 2021. Using Deep learning Objects, the images were re-classified into useful consistent colours. Deep Learning Objects and Training The resulting mosaic was then prepared for reclassification using the Label Objects for Deep Learning tool in ArcGIS Pro. A training sample, "LandUseTrainingSamples20211220", was created in the geodatabase for all land use types as follows: Neighbourhoods Insitutional Natural Areas Core Employment Areas Mixed Use Areas Apartment Neighbourhoods Parks Roads Utility Corridors Other Open Spaces General Employment Areas Regeneration Areas Lettering (not a land use type, but an image colour (black), used to label streets). By identifying the letters, it then made the reclassification and vectorization results easier to clean up of unnecessary clutter caused by the labels of streets.     Water Lines (pipes) within Fuquay-Varina. This is a rather extensive collection of a number of sub-types of water lines, and includes both public and privately owned features. Mainly, there are public water mains, public hydrants legs, private hydrant/fire legs, and private mains/service lines. Water service lines (i.e. service legs from mains to meters) maintained by the Town are only recently being mapped in our GIS system and are limited. When using this data, please pay close attention to WLine_Subtype and OWNEDBY fields. Please note that ALL public utility data layers can be downloaded in a single .mpkx (ArcGIS Pro map package file), updated every Friday evening. This .mpkx file can be opened directly with ArcGIS Pro version 3+. Alternatively, you can extract the file geodatabase within it by renaming the file ending .mpkx to .zip and treating it like a zip archive file, for use in any version of ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap software. You can also use QGIS, a powerful, free, and open-source GIS software.The Town of Fuquay-Varina creates, maintains, and serves out a variety of utility information to the public, including its Potable Water System, Sanitary Sewer System, and Stormwater Collection System features.     Gravity Sewer Pipe Lines in Fuquay-Varina. These line features primarily represent gravity sewer mains. Directionality (start vs. end vertices) of these line features should reflect real world flow direction. The mapping of sewer service lines began recently -- those features are currently rather limited in this dataset. There are also some privately owned and maintained pipes that are mapped for modeling and informational purposes, which also started only recently, most often from as-built utility data from large development projects since 2015. Please pay attention to the Subtype field to identify the different categories of gravity sewer lines. Notes: Gravity sewer in the Cape Fear river basin (SW side of Town, broadly speaking) primarily flows to the Harnett County Wastewater Treatment Plant. Description

The dataset includes 5 panoramic scans of the buildings, cultural resources, and other features within the National Park Service boundaries at Roger Williams National Memorial. The scans exist as point cloud files in Trimble Business Center. Each scan has at most 24 panoramic photographs associated with it, depending on whether it was a horizontal band or polygon scan. The points have been colorized based off the panoramic photographs and have been categorized into regions, such as buildings, ground, poles, and trees. There is a layer of points selected from the bottom of doorway thresholds to capture the finished floor elevation data. There is also a layer of points representing the elevation of first floor windows and basement windows. Each point in the layer has elevation data and latitude and longitude data associated with it. The layers are exportable into ArcGIS Pro as point layers, and the data associated with each point layer is exportable as a CSV file. The data was collected in NAD83 (2011) meters UTM Zone 19 and NAVD88. The controller used was a Trimble TSC7 data collector. Control points were set using the BOHA NTRIP base station, an R12i GNSS receiver, and a prism. Scans were completed using a Trimble SX12 scanner that was set so that points would be 2 cm apart at 20 m with a scanning distance of 200 m and a scanning radius of 1 m from the scanner. The scans were performed using the coarse resolution, stored in Trimble Access, and exported to Trimble Business Center.
