TwitterThe Research and Development Survey (RANDS) is a platform designed for conducting survey question evaluation and statistical research. RANDS is an ongoing series of surveys from probability-sampled commercial survey panels used for methodological research at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). RANDS estimates are generated using an experimental approach that differs from the survey design approaches generally used by NCHS, including possible biases from different response patterns and sampling frames as well as increased variability from lower sample sizes. Use of the RANDS platform allows NCHS to produce more timely data than would be possible using traditional data collection methods. RANDS is not designed to replace NCHS’ higher quality, core data collections. Below are experimental estimates of loss of work due to illness with coronavirus for three rounds of RANDS during COVID-19. Data collection for the three rounds of RANDS during COVID-19 occurred between June 9, 2020 and July 6, 2020, August 3, 2020 and August 20, 2020, and May 17, 2021 and June 30, 2021. Information needed to interpret these estimates can be found in the Technical Notes. RANDS during COVID-19 included a question about the inability to work due to being sick or having a family member sick with COVID-19. The National Health Interview Survey, conducted by NCHS, is the source for high-quality data to monitor work-loss days and work limitations in the United States. For example, in 2018, 42.7% of adults aged 18 and over missed at least 1 day of work in the previous year due to illness or injury and 9.3% of adults aged 18 to 69 were limited in their ability to work or unable to work due to physical, mental, or emotional problems. The experimental estimates on this page are derived from RANDS during COVID-19 and show the percentage of U.S. adults who did not work for pay at a job or business, at any point, in the previous week because either they or someone in their family was sick with COVID-19. TwitterThese are the key findings from the second of three rounds of the DCMS Coronavirus Business Survey. These surveys are being conducted to help DCMS understand how our sectors are responding to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. The data collected is not longitudinal as responses are voluntary, meaning that businesses have no obligation to complete multiple rounds of the survey and businesses that did not submit a response to one round are not excluded from response collection in following rounds.
The indicators and analysis presented in this bulletin are based on responses from the voluntary business survey, which captures organisations responses on how their turnover, costs, workforce and resilience have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The results presented in this release are based on 3,870 completed responses collected between 17 August and 8 September 2020.
This is the first time we have published these results as Official Statistics. An earlier round of the business survey can be found on gov.uk.
We have designated these as Experimental Statistics, which are newly developed or innovative statistics. These are published so that users and stakeholders can be involved in the assessment of their suitability and quality at an early stage.
We expect to publish a third round of the survey before the end of the financial year. To inform that release, we would welcome any user feedback on the presentation of these results to evidence@dcms.gov.uk by the end of November 2020.
The survey was run simultaneously through DCMS stakeholder engagement channels and via a YouGov panel.
The two sets of results have been merged to create one final dataset.
Invitations to submit a response to the survey were circulated to businesses in relevant sectors through DCMS stakeholder engagement channels, prompting 2,579 responses.
YouGov’s business omnibus panel elicited a further 1,288 responses. YouGov’s respondents are part of their panel of over one million adults in the UK. A series of pre-screened information on these panellists allows YouGov to target senior decision-makers of organisations in DCMS sectors.
One purpose of the survey is to highlight the characteristics of organisations in DCMS sectors whose viability is under threat in order to shape further government support. The timeliness of these results is essential, and there are some limitations, arising from the need for this timely information:
This release is published in accordance with the Code of Practice for Statistics, as produced by the UK Statistics Authority. The Authority has the overall objective of promoting and safeguarding the production and publication of official statistics that serve the public good. It monitors and reports on all official statistics, and promotes good practice in this area.

Welcome to the Opportunity Insights Economic Tracker! Our goal is to provide a comprehensive, real-time look into how COVID-19 and stabilization policies are affecting the US economy. To do this, we have compiled a wide array of data points on spending and employment, gathered from several sources.
This dataset includes daily/weekly/monthly information at the state/county/city level for eight types of data: Google Mobility; Low-Income Employment and Earnings; UI Claims; Womply Merchants and Revenue; as well as weekly Math Learning from Zearn. Additionally, three files- Accounting for Geoids-State/County/City provide crosswalks between geographic areas that can be merged with other files having shared geographical levels.
Our goal here is to enable data users around the world to follow economic conditions in the US during this tumultuous period with maximum clarity and precision. Merge datasets where applicable : Utilize GeoID crosswalks to combine multiple sets with same geographical coverageregionally covering ; example might be combining low income earnings figures with specific county settings by reference geo codes found in related documents like GeoIDs-County .

I cleaned up the dataset (like fill the null values, etc) without alternating any information and thus all the 'No' in the state can also be interpreted as NaN.

To create the dataset, the top 10 countries leading in the incidence of COVID-19 in the world were selected as of October 22, 2020 (on the eve of the second full of pandemics), which are presented in the Global 500 ranking for 2020: USA, India, Brazil, Russia, Spain, France and Mexico. For each of these countries, no more than 10 of the largest transnational corporations included in the Global 500 rating for 2020 and 2019 were selected separately. The arithmetic averages were calculated and the change (increase) in indicators such as profitability and profitability of enterprises, their ranking position (competitiveness), asset value and number of employees. The arithmetic mean values of these indicators for all countries of the sample were found, characterizing the situation in international entrepreneurship as a whole in the context of the COVID-19 crisis in 2020 on the eve of the second wave of the pandemic. The data is collected in a general Microsoft Excel table. Dataset is a unique database that combines COVID-19 statistics and entrepreneurship statistics. The dataset is flexible data that can be supplemented with data from other countries and newer statistics on the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the fact that the data in the dataset are not ready-made numbers, but formulas, when adding and / or changing the values in the original table at the beginning of the dataset, most of the subsequent tables will be automatically recalculated and the graphs will be updated. This allows the dataset to be used not just as an array of data, but as an analytical tool for automating scientific research on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis on international entrepreneurship. The dataset includes not only tabular data, but also charts that provide data visualization. The dataset contains not only actual, but also forecast data on morbidity and mortality from COVID-19 for the period of the second wave of the pandemic in 2020. The forecasts are presented in the form of a normal distribution of predicted values and the probability of their occurrence in practice. This allows for a broad scenario analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis on international entrepreneurship, substituting various predicted morbidity and mortality rates in risk assessment tables and obtaining automatically calculated consequences (changes) on the characteristics of international entrepreneurship. It is also possible to substitute the actual values identified in the process and following the results of the second wave of the pandemic to check the reliability of pre-made forecasts and conduct a plan-fact analysis. The dataset contains not only the numerical values of the initial and predicted values of the set of studied indicators, but also their qualitative interpretation, reflecting the presence and level of risks of a pandemic and COVID-19 crisis for international entrepreneurship.

The government later announced a ban on travel between cities following an increase in the number of new cases. Government restrictions were gradually eased starting in April. The number of new cases fell to a low on 2 May, but increased again in May as restrictions were eased, with a new peak of cases reported on 4 June, and new peaks in the number of deaths reported in July. Despite the increase, the Iranian government stated that it had no option but to keep the economy open; the economy of Iran was already affected by US sanctions, and its GDP fell by a further 15% due to the COVID-19 pandemic by June 2020

In March 2020, Mayor Carter announced the Saint Paul Bridge Fund to provide emergency relief for families and small businesses most vulnerable to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. 🇺🇸 미국 English A. SUMMARY This dataset represents San Francisco COVID-19 related deaths by day. This data may not be immediately available for recently reported deaths. Data updates as more information becomes available. Because of this, death totals for previous days may increase or decrease. More recent data is less reliable. B. HOW THE DATASET IS CREATED As of January 1, 2023, COVID-19 deaths are defined as persons who had COVID-19 listed as a cause of death or a significant condition contributing to their death on their death certificate. This definition is in alignment with the California Department of Public Health and the national Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists. Death data is provided by the California Department of Public Health. It takes time to process this data. Because of this, death totals may increase or decrease over time. Data are continually updated to maximize completeness of information and reporting on San Francisco COVID-19 deaths. C. UPDATE PROCESS Updates automatically at 06:30 and 07:30 AM Pacific Time on Wednesday each week. Dataset will not update on the business day following any federal holiday. D. HOW TO USE THIS DATASET This dataset shows new deaths and cumulative deaths by date of death. New deaths are the count of deaths on that specific date. Cumulative deaths are the running total of all San Francisco COVID-19 deaths up to the date listed. Use the Deaths by Population Characteristics Over Time dataset to see deaths by different subgroups including race/ethnicity, age, and gender. E. CHANGE LOG 9/11/2023 – on this date, we began using an updated definition of a COVID-19 death to align with the California Department of Public Health. This change was applied to COVID-19 deaths retrospectively beginning on 1/1/2023. The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic has prompted the German government and the 16 German federal states to announce a variety of public health measures in order to suppress the spread of the coronavirus. These non-pharmaceutical measures intended to curb transmission rates by increasing social distancing (i.e., diminishing interpersonal contacts) which restricts a range of individual behaviors. These measures span moderate recommendations such as physical distancing, up to the closures of shops and bans of gatherings and demonstrations. The implementation of these measures are not only a research goal for themselves but have implications for behavioral research conducted in this time (e.g., in form of potential confounder biases). Hence, longitudinal data that represent the measures can be a fruitful data source. The presented data set contains data on 14 governmental measures across the 16 German federal states. In comparison to existing datasets, the data set at hand is a fine-grained daily time series tracking the effective calendar date, introduction, extension, or phase-out of each respective measure. Based on self-regulation theory, measures were coded whether they did not restrict, partially restricted or fully restricted the respective behavioral pattern. The time frame comprises March 08, 2020 until May 15, 2020. The project is an open-source, ongoing project with planned continued updates in regular (approximately monthly) intervals. New variables include restrictions on travel and gastronomy. The variable trvl (travel) comprises the following categories: fully restricted (=2) reflecting a potential general ban to travel within Germany (except for sound reasons like health or business); partially restricted (=1): travels are allowed but may be restricted through prohibition of accommodation or entry ban for certain groups (e.g. people from risk areas); free (=0): no travel and accommodation restrictions in place). The variable gastr (gastronomy) comprises: fully restricted (=2): closure of restaurants or bars; partially restricted (=1): Only take-away or food delivery services are allowed; free (=0): restaurants are allowed to open without restrictions). TwitterThe Research and Development Survey (RANDS) is a platform designed for conducting survey question evaluation and statistical research. RANDS is an ongoing series of surveys from probability-sampled commercial survey panels used for methodological research at the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). RANDS estimates are generated using an experimental approach that differs from the survey design approaches generally used by NCHS, including possible biases from different response patterns and sampling frames as well as increased variability from lower sample sizes. Use of the RANDS platform allows NCHS to produce more timely data than would be possible using traditional data collection methods. RANDS is not designed to replace NCHS’ higher quality, core data collections. Below are experimental estimates of loss of work due to illness with coronavirus for three rounds of RANDS during COVID-19. Data collection for the three rounds of RANDS during COVID-19 occurred between June 9, 2020 and July 6, 2020, August 3, 2020 and August 20, 2020, and May 17, 2021 and June 30, 2021. Information needed to interpret these estimates can be found in the Technical Notes. RANDS during COVID-19 included a question about the inability to work due to being sick or having a family member sick with COVID-19. The National Health Interview Survey, conducted by NCHS, is the source for high-quality data to monitor work-loss days and work limitations in the United States. For example, in 2018, 42.7% of adults aged 18 and over missed at least 1 day of work in the previous year due to illness or injury and 9.3% of adults aged 18 to 69 were limited in their ability to work or unable to work due to physical, mental, or emotional problems. The experimental estimates on this page are derived from RANDS during COVID-19 and show the percentage of U.S. adults who did not work for pay at a job or business, at any point, in the previous week because either they or someone in their family was sick with COVID-19.
