Researchers mostly use the dataset launched for ChaLearn Looking At People First Impression Challenge (ECCV Challenge). The CVPR’17 dataset (an extension to the ECCV challenge dataset) consists of video files labelled with Big Five Personality Traits. The dataset consists of 3,000 high-definition YouTube videos featuring YouTubers speaking in English. To create the dataset, selected videos were divided into 10,000 clips with an average duration of 15 seconds. The dataset comprises three sets for training, validation, and testing, with a ratio of 3:1:1. The videos feature YouTubers from various nationalities, genders, and age groups. To label the videos with Big-Five personality traits, Amazon Mechanical Turk (AMT) was used. Each video clip was assigned a label corresponding to its Big-Five values, which range from 0 to 1.

    Description

    Content

The dataset contains two basic attributes from which you can extract an arrangement of exciting features, starting from DateTime-based features up to text-based features.

The first is the time in the video in which the comment was posted; it is important to note that the EST time the live stream started is 2:15.

The second is the comment that was posted; here, it is important to note that non-english comments were removed.

    Inspiration

I think it might be interesting to get a better understanding of how people around the world reacted to the rover landing on Mars and the content shown in the video. There were many points where the video lagged, or the site crashed.

    Description

RTB Maps is a cloud-based electronic Atlas. We used ArGIS 10 for Desktop with Spatial Analysis Extension, ArcGIS 10 for Server on-premise, ArcGIS API for Javascript, IIS web services based on .NET, and ArcGIS Online combining data on the cloud with data and applications on our local server to develop an Atlas that brings together many of the map themes related to development of roots, tubers and banana crops. The Atlas is structured to allow our participating scientists to understand the distribution of the crops and observe the spatial distribution of many of the obstacles to production of these crops. The Atlas also includes an application to allow our partners to evaluate the importance of different factors when setting priorities for research and development. The application uses weighted overlay analysis within a multi-criteria decision analysis framework to rate the importance of factors when establishing geographic priorities for research and development.Datasets of crop distribution maps, agroecology maps, biotic and abiotic constraints to crop production, poverty maps and other demographic indicators are used as a key inputs to multi-objective criteria analysis.Further metadata/references can be found here: http://gisweb.ciat.cgiar.org/RTBmaps/DataAvailability_RTBMaps.htmlDISCLAIMER, ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND PERMISSIONS:This service is provided by Roots, Tubers and Bananas CGIAR Research Program as a public service. Description

    Content

This dataset represents sequential poses that can be used to distinguish 5 physical exercises. The exercises are Push-up, Pull-up, Sit-up, Jumping Jack and Squat. The dataset consists of 33 landmarks that represents several important body parts' positions. Using these landmarks, the angles and the distances between several landmarks are calculated and included in the dataset. The sequence of the poses is provided by preserving the frame order in every record.

    Collection Process

About 500 videos of people doing the exercises have been used in order to collect this data. The videos are from Countix Dataset that contain the YouTube links of several human activity videos. Using a simple Python script, the videos of 5 different physical exercises are downloaded. All the frames of the videos are extracted, processed and included in the dataset.

    Processing Data

For every frame, MediaPipe framework is used for applying pose estimation, which detects the human skeleton of the person in the frame. The landmark model in MediaPipe Pose predicts the location of 33 pose landmarks (see figure below). Visit Mediapipe Pose Classification page for more details. Using these landmarks, the angles and the distances between several landmarks are calculated.

                  How popular is Instagram?

Instagram is a photo-sharing social networking service that enables users to take pictures and edit them with filters. The platform allows users to post and share their images online and directly with their friends and followers on the social network. The cross-platform app reached one billion monthly active users in mid-2018. In 2020, there were over 114 million Instagram users in the United States and experts project this figure to surpass 127 million users in 2023.

                  Who uses Instagram?

Instagram audiences are predominantly young – recent data states that almost 60 percent of U.S. Instagram users are aged 34 years or younger. Fall 2020 data reveals that Instagram is also one of the most popular social media for teens and one of the social networks with the biggest reach among teens in the United States.

                  Celebrity influencers on Instagram
Many celebrities and athletes are brand spokespeople and generate additional income with social media advertising and sponsored content. Unsurprisingly, Ronaldo ranked first again, as the average media value of one of his Instagram posts was 985,441 U.S. dollars.

As of February 2025, around 322 million people in the United States accessed the internet, making it one of the largest online markets worldwide. The country currently ranks third after China and India by the online audience size. Overview of internet usage in the United States The digital population in the United States has constantly increased in recent years. Among the most common reasons is the growing accessibility of broadband internet. A big part of the country's digital audience accesses the web via mobile phones. In 2024, the country saw an estimated 97.1 percent mobile internet user penetration. According to a 2024 survey, over 51 percent of U.S. women and 43 percent of men said it is important to them to have mobile internet access anywhere, at any time. Another 41 percent of respondents could not imagine their everyday life without the internet. Google and YouTube are the most visited websites in the country, while music, food, and drinks were the most discussed online topics. Internet usage demographics in the United States While some users can no longer imagine their life without the internet, others do not use it at all. According to 2021 data, 25 percent of U.S. adults 65 and older reported not using the internet. Despite this, online usage was strong across other age groups, especially young adults aged 18 to 49. This age group also reported the highest percentage of smartphone usage in the country as of 2023. Due to a persistent lack of connectivity in rural areas, more online users were based in urban areas of the U.S. than in the countryside.
