    Description

In 2023, the average price of real estate in China was approximately ****** yuan per square meter, representing a decrease from the previous year. Rising prices in the real estate market Since the 1998 housing reform, property prices in China have been rising continuously. Housing in the country is now often unaffordable, especially considering the modest per capita income of Chinese households. Shanghai and Beijing even have some of the most competitive real estate markets in the world. The rapid growth in housing prices has increased wealth among homeowners, while it also led to a culture of speculation among buyers and real estate developers. Housing was treated as investments, with owners expecting the prices to grow further every year. Risk factors The expectation of a steadily growing real estate market has created a property bubble and a potential debt crisis. As Chinese real estate giants, such as China Evergrande and Country Garden, operate by continuously acquiring land plots and initiating new projects, which often require substantial loans and investments, a slowdown in property demands or a decline in home prices can significantly affect the financial situation of these companies, putting China’s banks in a vulnerable position. In addition, due to a lack of regulations and monetary constraints, the long-term maintenance issues of high-rise apartments are also a concern to the sustainable development of China’s cities.

    Description

    Introduction

This Mandarin Chinese Call Center Speech Dataset for the Real Estate industry is purpose-built to accelerate the development of speech recognition, spoken language understanding, and conversational AI systems tailored for Mandarin -speaking Real Estate customers. With over 30 hours of unscripted, real-world audio, this dataset captures authentic conversations between customers and real estate agents ideal for building robust ASR models.

Curated by FutureBeeAI, this dataset equips voice AI developers, real estate tech platforms, and NLP researchers with the data needed to create high-accuracy, production-ready models for property-focused use cases.

    Speech Data

The dataset features 30 hours of dual-channel call center recordings between native Mandarin Chinese speakers. Captured in realistic real estate consultation and support contexts, these conversations span a wide array of property-related topics from inquiries to investment advice offering deep domain coverage for AI model development.

    Participant Diversity:
Speakers: 60 native Mandarin Chinese speakers from our verified contributor community.
Regions: Representing different provinces across China to ensure accent and dialect variation.
Participant Profile: Balanced gender mix (60% male, 40% female) and age range from 18 to 70.
    Recording Details:

    Property Recommendations
    Value Updates
    Customer Satisfaction Surveys, and others

Such domain-rich variety ensures model generalization across common real estate support conversations.

    Transcription

All recordings are accompanied by precise, manually verified transcriptions in JSON format.

    Transcription Includes:
    Speaker-Segmented Dialogues
    Time-coded Segments
Non-speech Tags (e.g., background noise, pauses)
High transcription accuracy with word error rate below 5% via dual-layer human review.

These transcriptions streamline ASR and NLP development for Mandarin real estate voice applications.
