    Content

    What's inside is more than just rows and columns. Make it easy for others to get started by describing how you acquired the data and what time period it represents, too. This dataset contains over 48,000 rows of data based on US census data. This dataset is used to determine whether an adult's income exceeds $50K/yr based on 14 different attributes collected. The dataset contains a distribution of 23.93% entries labelled with >50k and 76.07% entries labeled with < with <=50k. The attributes are as follows:

    age workclass (eg. private, local-gov, never-worked...) fnlwgt (the number of people the census believes the entry represents) education education-num marital-status occupation relationship race sex capital-gain capital-loss hours-per-week native country label (whether the individual makes more than $50,000 annually)
