    Description

This feature class is part of the Cadastral National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) CADNSDI publication data set for rectangular and non-rectangular Public Land Survey System (PLSS) data set. The metadata description in the Cadastral Reference System Feature Data Set more fully describes the entire data set. This is a graphic representation of the data stewards for the Public Land Survey System (PLSS). For BLM data sets the the data steward is identifed at the township level or smaller area The Data Steward is agency that will be responsible for updates of the PLSS. In the shared environment of the Natioanl Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) the data steward for an area is the primary coordinator or agency responsible for making updates or causing updates to be made. Any questions about data content should be directed to the data steward.

    Description

Misophonia is a condition characterized by negative affect, intolerance, and functional impairment in response to particular repetitive sounds usually made by others (e.g., chewing, sniffing, pen tapping) and associated stimuli. To date, researchers have largely studied misophonia using self-report measures. As the field is quickly expanding, assessment approaches need to advance to include more objective measures capable of differentiating those with and without misophonia. Although several studies have used sounds as experimental stimuli, few have used standardized stimuli sets with demonstrated reliability or validity. To conduct rigorous research to better understand misophonia, it is important to have an easily accessible, standardized set of acoustic stimuli for use across studies. Accordingly, in the present study, the International Affective Digitized Sounds (IADS-2), developed by Bradley and Lang [1], were used to determine whether participants with misophonia responded to cert...

    Description

The Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) was generated for certain Environment Canada long-term climate stations in Ontario.

The SPI quantifies the precipitation deficit and surplus for multiple time scales, including:

one month three months six months nine months 12 months 24 months

You can use the SPI to study the impact of dry and wet weather conditions to create comprehensive water management approaches.

The SPI data package is distributed as a Microsoft Access Geodatabase.

    Measurement technique
The data presented in this dataset is derived from the latest U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 2017-2021 5-Year Estimates. To measure the two variables, namely (a) population and (b) population as a percentage of the total population, we initially analyzed and categorized the data for each of the age groups. For age groups we divided it into roughly a 5 year bucket for ages between 0 and 85. For over 85, we aggregated data into a single group for all ages. For further information regarding these estimates, please feel free to reach out to us via email at research@neilsberg.com.

    Description
    About this dataset

    Context

The dataset tabulates the Standard population distribution across 18 age groups. It lists the population in each age group along with the percentage population relative of the total population for Standard. The dataset can be utilized to understand the population distribution of Standard by age. For example, using this dataset, we can identify the largest age group in Standard.

    Key observations

The largest age group in Standard, IL was for the group of age 85+ years with a population of 27 (9.68%), according to the 2021 American Community Survey. At the same time, the smallest age group in Standard, IL was the 70-74 years with a population of 1 (0.36%). Source: U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey (ACS) 2017-2021 5-Year Estimates.

    Variables / Data Columns

    • Age Group: This column displays the age group in consideration
    • Population: The population for the specific age group in the Standard is shown in this column.
    • % of Total Population: This column displays the population of each age group as a proportion of Standard total population. Please note that the sum of all percentages may not equal one due to rounding of values.

The polygons in this feature class represent the smallest division to the sixteenth that has been defined for the first division. For example In some cases sections have only been divided to the quarter. Divisions below the sixteenth are in the Special Survey or Parcel Feature Class.
