    IPv6 statistics, on the top 100 countries with the most internet users These statistics on the usage rate of IPv6 for Internet access are measured at the level of a content provider that systematically offers IPv6. It is updated every two months, on the first Friday of peer months. The objective is to make information more reliable by aggregating the four main sources of publicly available data worldwide: — Google IPv6 adoptionAkamai IPv6 adoptionFacebook IPv6 adoption (slippery window of 7 days) — APNIC (use of data “_IPv6 preferred_”, sliding window of 28 days) The aggregation of the 4 sources is done by a median (arithmetic average of the two central values) country by country. The data by region is the aggregation of the medians calculated country by country, in proportion to the number of Internet users in the country, on the top 100 of the countries in number of Internet users.

    Ces données publiées sur le site de l'Arcep : - https://carteipv6.arcep.fr/, carte qu'il est possible d'intégrer sur un site tiers - Intégration de la carte sur le site de l'Arcep - PDF de 9 pages avec les données sous forme de tableau

    Ces statistiques sur le taux d’utilisation d’IPv6 pour l’accès à Internet sont mesurées au niveau d’un fournisseur de contenu qui propose systématiquement IPv6. Il est mis à jour tous les deux mois, le premier vendredi des mois pairs.

    L’objectif est de fiabiliser l’information en agrégeant les quatre principales sources de données publiquement disponibles mondialement: - Google IPv6 adoption - Akamai IPv6 adoption - Facebook IPv6 adoption (fenêtre glissante de 7 jours) - Apnic (utilisation des données "_IPv6 preferred_", fenêtre glissante de 28 jours)

    L'agrégation des 4 sources se fait par une médiane (moyenne arithmétique des deux valeurs centrales) pays par pays. Les données par région sont l'agrégation des médianes calculées pays par pays, au prorata du nombre d'internautes du pays, sur le top 100 des pays en nombre d’internautes. Les données du top 100 des pays avec le plus d’internautes sont celles de Wikipédia, en date du 6 février 2023 (archive de la page Wikipédia au format PDF).
