    Number of arrivals of Iran plummeted by 82.98% from 9,107,000 number in 2019 to 1,550,000 number in 2020. Since the 49.89% surge in 2018, number of arrivals sank by 78.75% in 2020.     The international tourism receipts per capita in the United Arab Emirates were forecast to continuously increase between 2024 and 2029 by in total 2,106.9 U.S. dollars (+16.57 percent). According to this forecast, in 2029, the receipts per capita will have increased for the ninth consecutive year to 14,819.09 U.S. dollars.     Description

    Expenditures for passenger transport items of Iran plummeted by 45.71% from 1,061,000,000 US dollars in 2017 to 576,000,000 US dollars in 2018. Since the 36.49% surge in 2016, expenditures for passenger transport items sank by 36.63% in 2018. International tourism expenditures for passenger transport items are expenditures of international outbound visitors in other countries for all services provided during international transportation by nonresident carriers. Also included are passenger services performed within an economy by nonresident carriers. Excluded are passenger services provided to nonresidents by resident carriers within the resident economies; these are included in travel items. In addition to the services covered by passenger fares--including fares that are a part of package tours but excluding cruise fares, which are included in travel--passenger services include such items as charges for excess baggage, vehicles, or other personal accompanying effects and expenditures for food, drink, or other items for which passengers make expenditures while on board carriers.
