Information on the quantities of local authority collected municipal waste collected and managed in Northern Ireland. It includes quantities and rates of local authority collected municipal waste arising, sent for preparing for reuse, for dry recycling, composting, energy recovery and sent to landfill. Some of these measurements are key performance indicators. These are used to assess progress towards achieving waste strategy targets. Breakdowns are available by district council and waste management group. The data contains finalised data from 2006/07 to 2017/18 and provisional data for April 2018 to June 2019.
