TwitterUse the app to find the downloadable area within Jackson County - 2 Foot Contour MapThe 2-foot Contour Map shows contours that were derived from several different LiDAR projects in the Rogue Valley over the last 10 years. The map can be used to both download and view the contour data. To use the map, search or zoom in to an address. When zoomed in to a specific scale, the map will change from the downloadable areas layer to 2-foot interval contour lines. The LiDAR Project Dates layer can be used to identify the date when the elevation was collected in an area. Please note that data is available only for the valley floor areas at this time. The 2ft contours were created from 1-meter pixel DEM and then cleaned to remove very small elevation changes and to create a smooth contour line. This information should not be used to create topographic surveys or other applications where the precise elevation of a location is required. For additional information on LiDAR in Oregon or to download the source data, please visit the DOGAMI Lidar Viewer. The downloadable data is a zipped ESRI Shapefile and is projected to Oregon State Plane South (Intl Feet) with NAD 1983 datum.

TwitterThe Unpublished Digital Geomorphologic-GIS Map of Fort Frederica National Monument and Vicinity, Georgia is composed of GIS data layers and GIS tables in a 10.1 file geodatabase (fofr_geology.gdb), a 10.1 ArcMap (.MXD) map document (fofr_geology.mxd), individual 10.1 layer (.LYR) files for each GIS data layer, an ancillary map information (.PDF) document (fofr_geomorphology.pdf) which contains source map unit descriptions, as well as other source map text, figures and tables, metadata in FGDC text (.TXT) and FAQ (.HTML) formats, and a GIS readme file (fofr_gis_readme.pdf). Please read the fofr_gis_readme.pdf for information pertaining to the proper extraction of the file geodatabase and other map files. To request GIS data in ESRI 10.1 shapefile format contact Stephanie O’Meara (stephanie.omeara@colostate.edu; see contact information below). The data is also available as a 2.2 KMZ/KML file for use in Google Earth, however, this format version of the map is limited in data layers presented and in access to GRI ancillary table information. Google Earth software is available for free at: http://www.google.com/earth/index.html. Users are encouraged to only use the Google Earth data for basic visualization, and to use the GIS data for any type of data analysis or investigation. The data were completed as a component of the Geologic Resources Inventory (GRI) program, a National Park Service (NPS) Inventory and Monitoring (I&M) Division funded program that is administered by the NPS Geologic Resources Division (GRD). Source geologic maps and data used to complete this GRI digital dataset were provided by the following: Georgia Southern University, Applied Coastal Research Lab. Detailed information concerning the sources used and their contribution the GRI product are listed in the Source Citation section(s) of this metadata record (fofr_metadata_faq.html; available at http://nrdata.nps.gov/geology/gri_data/gis/fofr/fofr_metadata_faq.html). Users of this data are cautioned about the locational accuracy of features within this dataset. Based on the source map scale of 1:12,000 and United States National Map Accuracy Standards features are within (horizontally) 10.16 meters or 33.33 feet of their actual location as presented by this dataset. Users of this data should thus not assume the location of features is exactly where they are portrayed in Google Earth, ArcGIS or other software used to display this dataset. All GIS and ancillary tables were produced as per the NPS GRI Geology-GIS Geodatabase Data Model v. 2.3. (available at: http://science.nature.nps.gov/im/inventory/geology/GeologyGISDataModel.cfm). The GIS data projection is NAD83, UTM Zone 17N, however, for the KML/KMZ format the data is projected upon export to WGS84 Geographic, the native coordinate system used by Google Earth. The data is within the area of interest of Fort Frederica National Monument.

TwitterThe Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. The dataset extends countywide and is attribute by Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.DOR reference with FIPS county codes and attribution definitions - https://fgio.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=55e830fd6c8948baae1601fbfc33a3b2If you discover the inadvertent release of a confidential record exempt from disclosure pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records laws, immediately notify the Department of Revenue at 850-717-6570 and your local Florida Property Appraisers’ Office.
