The Zoning Polygon feature layer displays the current adopted zoning polygons for the City of Kennesaw, Georgia. For each zoning polygon within the city limits of Kennesaw, the following data (fields) can be found: Zoning_1, SFArea, CALCAcres, and Classification. Zoning_1 is the type of zoning the parcel is classified as (Ex. R-20, HI, & CBD). SFArea is the area of the zoning polygon in square feet. CALC Acres is the calculated acres for the parcel. Classification is the general class of zoning (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Mixed Use).
This feature layer displays the current zoning by parcel for the City of Kennesaw, Georgia. For each parcel within the city limits of Kennesaw, the following data (fields) can be found: Zoning_1, CALCAcres, Classification, PIN, Juris, InKDDA, InHistDist, InAHD, InHPV, In SLO, InURA, LCI, and FLU. Zoning_1 is the type of zoning the parcel is classified as (Ex. R-20, HI, & CBD). CALC Acres is the calculated acres for the parcel. Classification is the general class of zoning (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Mixed Use). PIN is the parcel number. Juris is the tax district that he parcel is located in. InKDDA is whether the parcel is or is not in the Kennesaw Downtown Development Authority (KDDA). InHistDist is whether the parcel is in a Historical district. InAHD is whether the parcel is or is not in the Airport Hazard District for Cobb County International Airport. InHPV is whether the parcel is or is not in the Historical Preservation Village. InSLO is whether the parcel is or is not in the Senior Living Overlay (senior living areas). InURA is whether the parcel is or is not in the Urban Redevelopment Areas. LCI is livable centers initiative. FLU is the future land use type.
This feature layer displays parks located with the limits of the City of Kennesaw. Only parks that are operated by the City of Kennesaw are displayed. No Cobb County parks are included in this feature layer (Ex. Big Shanty Park). Additionally the following information is provided for each of the parks: park IDs, park names, address information, park size (in acres), year park was opened, park status, park type, park service area, and managing agency (All parks are managed by the City of Kennesaw). In addition to this information, there is information on the different amenities offered at each of the parks.
The subdivision polygon layer displays phases and subsections for developments, apartment complexes, mobile home parks, and platted subdivisions with the city limits of Kennesaw. This polygon layer contains the following data (fields): NAME, PHASE, Plat Book, Plat Book Page Number, platUNC, PLAT RECORDED ON, and PLAT TYPE. The NAME fields display the name of the development, apartment complex, mobile home park, or platted subdivision. The PHASE field displays the phase of the development, apartment complex, mobile home park, or platted subdivision (ex. P-1, P-2, and P-3). The Plat Book field is the book in which the plat was recorded at the Cobb County Clerk of Superior Court. The Plat Book Page Number field is the page of the book that the plat was recorded at the Cobb County Clerk of Superior Court. The platUNC field is a link to a digital copy of the plat on the Cobb County Clerk of Superior Court website. The PLAT RECORDED ON field is the date the plat was recorded. The YEAR RECORDED field is the year that the plat was recorded on. The PLAT TYPE field field displays the type of plat the development, apartment complex, mobile home park, or platted subdivision is (ex. single family subdivision, commercial, and mobile home park).
The Downtown Parking feature layer was originally created from the edge of pavement layer from Cobb County in 2010. Updated primarily in the Downtown and Swift Cantrell park area periodically using available aerial photography. This feature layer contains the following data (fields): DESC_1, DESC_2, P1, PIN, UseOnMap, TimeRestricted, and TimeAllotment. The DESC_1 field simply states that all the features are parking lots. The DESC_2 field states that the parking lots are public lots. The P1 field states whether a parking lot is pervious or impervious. The UseOnMap field is a temporary attribute field to filter parking lot data as needed. The TimeRestricted field display whether a parking lot has time limits.The TimeAllotment field displays the time allotment for each parking lot that is time limited. If this field is blank, the time limits are defined by city City of Kennesaw Code
