Updated daily, Monday - Friday This dashboard provides a snapshot of several useful indicators, or measures, related to COVID-19 activity in our community and its impact on our health and our hospitals. These indicators, along with many other data, are key considerations for reviewing current restrictions on activity, recommendations and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The indicators help determine if current actions are adequate, need to be strengthened, or might be carefully relaxed.
These indicators are presented by Public Health — Seattle & King County, in conjunction with the King County Hospitals for a Healthier Community (HHC). The data offer a comprehensive overview of demographics, health, and health behaviors among King County residents.
Users can search by key word or topic area to filter the table of contents displayed below. After clicking on an indicator, a summary tab will open and users can click on additional tabs to explore data analyzed by demographic characteristics, see how rates have changed over time, and view data for cities/neighborhoods. Most indicators are interactive and users can hover over maps or charts to find more information.

Updated weekly Public Health — Seattle & King County is monitoring changes in key economic, social, and other health indicators resulting from strategies to slow the spread of COVID-19. The metrics below were selected based on studies from previous outbreaks, which have linked strategies such as social distancing, school closures, and business closures to specific outcomes. Individual indicators in the grid below are updated daily, weekly, or monthly, depending on the source of data. Additional data will be added over time.
These Best Starts for Kids (BSK) indicators provide important information about the health and well-being of King County children, youth, families, and communities.
Information is organized into four areas:
Prenatal to 5 years: Babies are born healthy and are provided with a strong foundation for lifelong health and well-being.
5 to 24 years: King County is a place where everyone has equitable opportunities to be safe and healthy as they progress through childhood, building academic and life skills to be thriving members of their communities.
