Kingston's Waterfront Master Plan is intended to be a guiding document that organizes and prioritizes a plan for the renewal of public waterfront spaces as well as the improvement of access and the creation of a fully connected public waterfront. For the purposes of the project, Kingston's waterfront has been divided into six focus areas, each with their own unique characteristics. This map service supports the 'Focus Area Overview' story map journal, which contains a series of interactive maps designed to give the user a sense of where the various focus areas are located across the city, and details on the design workshops scheduled for each. Be sure to check out the final map to see photos submitted by you of Kingston's waterfront! For more information on the City of Kingston's Waterfront Master Plan project, see https://www.cityofkingston.ca/city-hall/projects-construction/waterfront-master-plan.
