The sample is two stage stratified cluster sample with two stages : First stage: we select a systematic random sample of 481 enumeration areas for the whole round Second stage: we select a systematic random sample of 16 households from each enumeration area selected in the first stage Sample strata: The population was divided by: 1- Governorates 2- Type of Locality (urban, rural, refugee camps).
The estimated sample size is 7,552 households for first quarter and second quarter, but in the third and fourth quarter was 7,546 households

The lfs questionnaire consists of four main sections: Identification Data: The main objective for this part is to record the necessary information to identify the household, such as, cluster code, sector, type of locality, cell, housing number and the cell code. Quality Control: This part involves groups of controlling standards to monitor the field and office operation, to keep in order the sequence of questionnaire stages (data collection, field and office coding, data entry, editing after entry and store the data. Household Roster: This part involves demographic characteristics about the household, like number of persons in the household, date of birth, sex, educational level…etc. Employment Part: This part involves the major research indicators, where one questionnaire had been answered by every 10 years and over household member, to be able to explore their labour force status and recognize their major characteristics toward employment status, economic activity, occupation, place of work, and other employment indicators.
All questionnaires were edited after data entry in order to minimize errors related data entry.
The response rate was 89.6% in 2007, and in quarters: First quarter 2007: 93.6% Second quarter 2007: 93.6% Third quarter 2007: 92.8% Fourth quarter 2007: 86.2%

Given are the total labor costs, the labor costs per hour worked, per paid hour, per full-time unit, and the hours worked per full-time unit. The structure of the labor costs is also given, in which the labor costs are broken down into various components (detailed structure). The structure of the working hours is also given, in which the working hours are broken down into a number of components. The figures are available per sector (SBI 2008). The 2008 Labor Costs Survey has changed on a number of points compared to the 2004 survey. See section 4 for the main changes. The Labor Cost Survey is part of a European survey coordinated by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. Commissioned by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment, the Centre for Policy Related Statistics of Statistics Netherlands has compiled data on the labour market position of all persons in the Netherlands aged 15-64 years on 27 January 2006, and on how this had changed on 31 December 2008. These tables are the result of the first stage of this project.
The main objective of the audit of the Labor Force in 2008 year is to obtain data on the basic operating characteristics of the population and estimates of the total workforce in the country according recommendations and definitions: Council Regulation (EC) No 577/98, Regulation (EC) No 1991/2002 and No 2257/2003 Of the European Parliament and of the Council, Commission Regulation (EC) No 1897/2000 and 430/2005 According to these definitions, the Labor Force (active population) comprises all persons who work (at least 1 hour per week) or actively seeking work in order to earn their living.
