    Description

The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2024. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. Description

The Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) Database depicts flood risk information and supporting data used to develop the risk data. The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event, the 0.2-percent-annual- chance flood event, and areas of minimal flood risk. The DFIRM Database is derived from Flood Insurance Studies (FISs), previously published Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), flood hazard analyses performed in support of the FISs and FIRMs, and new mapping data, where available. The FISs and FIRMs are published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The file is georeferenced to earth's surface using the UTM projection and coordinate system. The specifications for the horizontal control of DFIRM data files are consistent with those required for mapping at a scale of 1:6,000, 1:12,000, and 1:24,000.

An orthophoto is remotely sensed image data in which displacement of features in the image caused by terrain relief and sensor orientation have been mathematically removed. Orthophotography combines the image characteristics of a photograph with the geometric qualities of a map. Imagery was acquired for the Counties at 0.9 foot ground sample distance (GSD) resolution. Flight height maintained during mission was 9,600 feet AGL. The imagery was captured at 12-bit radiometric resolution and converted to 8-bit radiometric resolution during post processing. The imagery was captured with 20% sidelap between all adjacent flight lines. The imagery was obtained and processed by all digital means beginning with data acquisition using a Z/I Imaging Digital Mapping Camera (DMC). The orthophotos are available in GeoTIFF and MrSID form. Description

During July 2000 through early May 2001, the Center for Archaeological Research at Marquette University performed archaeological Phases I and II, and limited geo-technical studies within 25 segments of proposed and existing highway right-of-way (ROW) located along the planned U.S. Highway (USH) 151 reconstruction alignment between West Mound Road and County Trunk Highway HH in Lafayette and Grant counties, Wisconsin. Earth Tech, Inc., sponsored the study as preparation for continued reconstruction of USH 151 (WisDOT Project I.D. 1209-02-01). Field work focused on parcels adjoining tracts surveyed during 1995 or 1999, and as a result of earlier architectural studies, the current study is oriented only to the identification of archaeological resources. With this in mind, the area of potential effects (APE) is defined by ROW segment borders, and the 25 tract APE totals approximately 215 acres (87 hectares). All but four privately owned parcels within the APE have been examined, and this coverage resulted in the recording of three isolated finds and the investigation of four archaeological sites. Unsurveyed tracts represent properties to which landowners denied researchers access. The isolated finds consist of a lithic flake, a lithic biface fragment, and a low density scatter of historical materials; none warrant further study. The archaeological sites are previously reported Sites 47 Gt 573 (the Cardy Site) and 599 (the Wayside Mining Site), and newly unrecorded Sites 47 Gt 628 (the Roling Site) and 629 (the Haverland Site). None of the four sites are entirely within the APE, and in most cases, researchers limited investigations to the ROW areas. Upon completion of Phase I tasks, the APE related portions of the Wayside Mining and the Haverland sites required no further study. The historic mining site did not yield new data, and an existing Memorandum of Agreement stipulates mitigative action to be completed for the site. The Haverland site, a prehistoric lithic scatter, is restricted to a plow zone and lacks subsurface integrity. Site 47 Gt 573, a prehistoric lithic scatter mixed with 20th century debris, and Site 47 Gt 628, a multi-component prehistoric limited use locus and historical farmstead, required Phase II study in order to evaluate their eligibility for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. At the Cardy Site, archaeological materials are confined primarily to a plow zone where the quantity and quality of data supports the recommendation that no additional work be performed for the site area within the proposed ROW. At Site 47 Gt 628, Phase II work revealed intact prehistoric and historical deposits, suggesting the site is potentially eligible for inclusion in the National Register. As a result, the site should be either avoided during highway reconstruction, or subjected to an archaeological Phase III data recovery study. With the exception of four unsurveyed parcels, the Site 47 Gt 628 area, and the portion of Site 47 Gt 599 immediately east-southeast of the Wayside Picnic Area, cultural resources clearance is recommended for all other portions of the subject ROW segments. Site 47 Gt 599 is associated with Segment 8, and Site 47 Gt 628 is associated with Segment 5. The unsurveyed parcels—Keminck land in Segments 15 and 16, and Suther property in Segment 22—should besurveyed for archaeological remains prior to proposed USH 151 reconstruction activities.

    Description

Electric Service Territories (IURC) - Shows the Electric Service Territory (EST) boundaries in Indiana, maintained by personnel of the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). This layer is "live" and synchronized to automatically update whenever IURC personnel establish new boundaries. The layer was created to visually represent, as accurately as possible, the electric service territories served by the regulated electric service providers in the state of Indiana, pursuant to Cause Number 42868 (Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission) to establish an online GIS mapping environment to house, edit, and display visual interpretations or electric service territory rulings filed before and ruled by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. The data represented in this layer is strictly a visual aide and a best interpretation of the legally approved Electric Service Territories as ruled by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission (IURC). These data are not legally binding or necessarily fully representative of the legal rulings. The following is excerpted from metadata provided by the IURC: "IN THE MATTER OF THE JOINT PETITION OF ELECTRICITY SUPPLIERS FOR (1) THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE PROCEDURES TO APPROVE SERVICE AREA BOUNDARY AGREEMENTS UNDER IC 8-1-2.3-6(2) AND SERVICE CONSENTS UNDER IC 8-1-2.3-4(A), AND (2) MODIFICATION OF THE FORM AND MAINTENANCE OF MAPS OF ASSIGNED SERVICE AREAS ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO IC 8-1-2.3-1, ET SEQ. AND THE COMMISSION'S FEBRUARY 19, 1981 ORDER IN CAUSE NO. 36299"
