The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2025. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August. The dataset extends countywide and is attribute by Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) code.DOR reference with FIPS county codes and attribution definitions - https://fgio.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=ff7b985e139c4c7ba844500053e8e185If you discover the inadvertent release of a confidential record exempt from disclosure pursuant to Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, public records laws, immediately notify the Department of Revenue at 850-717-6570 and your local Florida Property Appraisers’ Office. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2024. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with the real property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL) file. The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys. The centroids were derived from the parcel polygons. Using ArcPRO, the repair geometry tool was used, followed by the feature to point tool. All centroids were created within the polygon's boundary even if the center of the irregular polygon was outside its boundary. Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. Geographic Information System (GIS) coverage of Palm Beach County seagrasses, mangrove habitat, oyster reef, and spartina. The mapped area is the Lake Worth Lagoon system and the ICW throughout Palm Beach County.

Purpose: A major objective of the Lake Worth Lagoon Management Plan is to restore, preserve and create seagrass beds, oyster bars and other submerged benthic habitat. Aerial surveys will enable Palm Beach County Department of Environmental Resources Management to determine the aerial extent of seagrass beds, mangrove habitat, oyster reefs, and spartina within the Lake Worth Lagoon and Intracoastal Waterway, while the fixed transect survey will reveal whether selected seagrass beds are stable, expanding or receding.

This is a statewide polygon layer in which each polygon has a unique Water Body Identification number (WBID). The assessment units are drainage basins, lakes, lake drainage areas, springs, rivers and streams, segments of rivers and streams, coastal, bay and estuarine waters in Florida. The polygons roughly delineate the drainage basins surrounding the water body assessment units. The WBIDs are used in the Basin Rotation Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) program as well as other applications. WBIDs are assigned a FDEP district as part of their attribution. There are multiple instances where a WBID may be assigned to an FDEP district, but physically fall within the boundary of a different district. This is because WBIDs are grouped together into basins called Planning Units and there are instances where a Planning Unit basin will fall across FDEP district boundaries. In these cases, for consistency's sake, all the WBIDs that are in the Planning Unit will be assigned to the same FDEP district. For information on which district the WBID physically falls in, please refer to the FDEP Regulatory Districts layer.

    Description

This polygon GIS data set represents a compilation of statewide seagrass data from various source agencies and scales. The data were mapped from sources ranging in date from 1987 to 2023. This dataset is complete as of data available to FWRI in December 2024. Not all data in this compilation are mapped from photography; some are the results of field measurements. See the "Sources" section for more information. The original source data sets were not all classified in the same manner; some used the Florida Land Use Cover and Forms Classification System (FLUCCS) codes 9113 for discontinuous seagrass and 9116 for continuous seagrass; some defined only presence and absence of seagrass, and some defined varying degrees of seagrass percent cover. In order to merge all of these data sources into one compilation data set, FWRI reclassified the various source data attribute schemes into two categories: "Continuous Seagrass" and "Patchy (Discontinuous) Seagrass". In areas where studies overlap, the most recent study where a given area has been interpreted is represented in this data set. This data set is not comparable to previous statewide data sets for time series studies - not all areas have been updated since the previous statewide compilation and some areas previously not mapped are now included. Please contact GIS Librarian to request the source data if you need to do a time series comparison. This data set has been updated in several areas from the previous compilation, including Naples Bay (2007), Big Bend (2022), Choctawhatchee Bay (2017), Pensacola Bay/Santa Rosa Bay/Big Lagoon (2017), Perdido Bay (2017), and St. Andrew Bay (2017), Florida Bay (2016), portions of the Caloosahatchee, Loxahatchee, and St. Lucie Rivers (2011), Lake Worth Lagoon (2018), Rookery Bay (2014), Estero Bay and the West Coast (2014), Indian River Lagoon (2021), the Springs Coast (2020) and Southwest Florida (2020). Version 2 of the Unified Florida Reef Tract Map, with seagrass data ranging in source date from 2004-2015, has also been integrated into this compilation to represent the most recent data available from St. Lucie County to the Dry Tortugas in Florida Keys.

    Description

Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Permit Application Boundaries. The EAA occupies a critical area between Lake Okeechobee and the Everglades Protection Area. Agriculture is the predominant land use with more than 500,000 acres of irrigated land. Sugar cane is the primary crop, with relatively smaller areas in vegetables and sod. The Rotenberger and Holey Land Wildlife Management Areas are contained within the EAA.An Everglades Works of the District (EWOD) Permit is required of landowners or entities within or discharging to drainage basins in the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Basin that ultimately drain to the Everglades. Generally all lands are required to apply for an EWOD Permit. An EWOD Permit is an approval of a best management practices (BMP) plan, and of a discharge (water quality and quantity) monitoring plan where applicable. The specific WOD regulatory program responsibilities are to: - Identify the locations of surface water discharge from public or private properties into Works of the District (WOD) in the Lake Okeechobee tributary basins. - Measure and document the total phosphorus concentration in the surface water discharged from the public or privately-owned lands into the WOD. - Document compliance with appropriate phosphorus concentration limits described in general, individual or master WOD permits. - Require corrective actions plans (Best Management Plans) to reduce phosphorus runoff from properties exceeding phosphorus discharge limitations. An application packet is created when a permit is applied for. This application packet contains a unique application number, location information such as: Sec/Twp/Rge, project acreage, project land use and location map. This application boundary is digitized into GIS Application Arc Map for the county in which the application is located in. Once the application has been reviewed and issued, the application becomes a permit with a permit number.
