This feature class shows the zoning districts for the City of Lincoln and Lancaster County, NE. It does show the zoning districts for the jurisdictional areas of the incorporated towns and villages in and abutting Lancaster County. Maintained and Updated by the City of Lincoln / Lancaster County Planning Department.

Park Boundaries are updated by the Lincoln Park and Recreation Department. This service is updated on a regular basis.

The polygon feature class represents the city of Lincoln and the villages in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

Election Commision Related Boundaries. City Council Districts, County Board Districts, LPSNRD, NU Regent, SECC, LPS, State Leg, and Voting Precints.

Fire planning zones represent the area served by each of the 16 Lincoln Fire & Rescue stations and rural fire districts in Lancaster County. These are the "first due" areas for the engine companies at each station, in other words the area into which each engine is ordinarily the preferred first responder. These data are maintained by Lincoln Fire & Rescue, and updated periodically to account for annexations and/or boundary changes.

The dataset is a graphical representation of the Southeast Community College Council District boundaries. The dataset is updated every 10 years as part of U.S. Census.

To designate, preserve, protect, enhance, and perpetuate those structures and districts which are elements of the city's historical, cultural, archaeological, or architectural heritage; to stabilize and improve property values in such districts; to foster civic pride in the beauty and accomplishments of the past; to protect and enhance the city's attractions to tourists and visitors and the support and stimulus to business and industry thereby provided; to strengthen the economy of the city; to promote the use of historic districts and landmarks for the education, pleasure, and welfare of the people of the city; and to promote and encourage continued private ownership and utilization of such buildings and other structures now so owned and used so that the objectives listed above can be attained while the owner can receive a reasonable economic return on the property.
