The dataset is a graphical representation of the Lower Platte South NRD Election Subdistrict Boundaries. The dataset is updated as needed as new U.S. Census data is available. The original subdistrict data was acquired from Lincoln-Lancaster County Planning Department April 2008. The dataset was projected from NAD_1983_Transverse_Mercator to NAD_1983_StatePlane_Nebraska_FIPS_2600_Feet. The dataset was updated October 2011 to reflect changes to subdistrict boundaries for the 2012 Elections.

Features were updated using NGA and USGS 30 centimeter aerial photos flown from March 26th through April 3rd, 2012 that encompass the entire County. Red-Green-Blue and Color Infrared were both used to capture, modify, and validate new and changed features.

File geodatabase that includes 1' contours derived from the 2016 eastern Nebraska LiDAR project. The project included Douglas, Sarpy, & Lancaster counties.
Open the Data Resource: https://gis.chesapeakebay.net/targeting/lancaster/ The 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement outlines 10 goals and 31 outcomes to be achieved to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay. Many of the management strategies associated with these outcomes contain place-based implementation actions. The selection of places to implement restoration activities and conservation projects is based on many factors operating at both regional and local scales. This story map explains how several outcomes can be evaluated in the context of integrated, place-based decisions and how currently available tools and data can be used to target areas for multiple environmental and socioeconomic benefits. The example presented illustrates how regional screening, local targeting and high-resolution data can be combined in an overall framework to locate poential areas for restoration in Lancaster County, Pennsylania.
