    Description

This service depicts National Park Service tract and boundary data that was created by the Land Resources Division. NPS Director's Order #25 states: "Land status maps will be prepared to identify the ownership of the lands within the authorized boundaries of the park unit. These maps, showing ownership and acreage, are the 'official record' of the acreage of Federal and non-federal lands within the park boundaries. While these maps are the official record of the lands and acreage within the unit's authorized boundaries, they are not of survey quality and not intended to be used for survey purposes." As such this data is intended for use as a tool for GIS analysis. It is in no way intended for engineering or legal purposes. The data accuracy is checked against best available sources which may be dated and vary by location. NPS assumes no liability for use of this data. The boundary polygons represent the current legislated boundary of a given NPS unit. NPS does not necessarily have full fee ownership or hold another interest (easement, right of way, etc...) in all parcels contained within this boundary. Equivalently NPS may own or have an interest in parcels outside the legislated boundary of a given unit. In order to obtain complete information about current NPS interests both inside and outside a unit’s legislated boundary tract level polygons are also created by NPS Land Resources Division and should be used in conjunction with this boundary data. To download this data directly from the NPS go to https://irma.nps.gov Property ownership data is compiled from deeds, plats, surveys, and other source data. These are not engineering quality drawings and should be used for administrative purposes only. The National Park Service (NPS) shall not be held liable for improper or incorrect use of the data described and/or contained herein. Description

Minnesota's original public land survey plat maps were created between 1848 and 1907 during the first government land survey of the state by the U.S. Surveyor General's Office. This collection of more than 3,600 maps includes later General Land Office (GLO) and Bureau of Land Management maps up through 2001. Scanned images of the maps are available in several digital formats and most have been georeferenced.

The survey plat maps, and the accompanying survey field notes, serve as the fundamental legal records for real estate in Minnesota; all property titles and descriptions stem from them. They also are an essential resource for surveyors and provide a record of the state's physical geography prior to European settlement. Finally, they testify to many years of hard work by the surveying community, often under very challenging conditions.

The deteriorating physical condition of the older maps (drawn on paper, linen, and other similar materials) and the need to provide wider public access to the maps, made handling the original records increasingly impractical. To meet this challenge, the Office of the Secretary of State (SOS), the State Archives of the Minnesota Historical Society (MHS), the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT), MnGeo and the Minnesota Association of County Surveyors collaborated in a digitization project which produced high quality (800 dpi), 24-bit color images of the maps in standard TIFF, JPEG and PDF formats - nearly 1.5 terabytes of data. Funding was provided by MnDOT.

In 2010-11, most of the JPEG plat map images were georeferenced. The intent was to locate the plat images to coincide with statewide geographic data without appreciably altering (warping) the image. This increases the value of the images in mapping software where they can be used as a background layer.

    Cadastral Mapping Market Outlook

The global cadastral mapping market size was valued at approximately USD 4.2 billion in 2023 and is projected to reach around USD 7.9 billion by 2032, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.2% during the forecast period. This market growth can be attributed to increasing urbanization, rapid advancements in geospatial technologies, and the growing need for efficient land management systems across various regions.

The expansion of urban areas and the corresponding increase in the need for effective land management infrastructure are significant growth factors driving the cadastral mapping market. As urbanization accelerates globally, local governments and planning agencies require sophisticated tools to manage and record land ownership, boundaries, and property information. Enhanced geospatial technologies, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, are pivotal in facilitating accurate and efficient cadastral mapping, thus contributing to market growth.

Another key growth factor is the rising demand for infrastructure development. As nations invest in large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, railways, and smart cities, there is an increased need for precise land data to ensure the proper allocation of resources and to avoid legal disputes. Cadastral mapping provides the critical data needed for these projects, hence its demand is surging. Additionally, governments worldwide are increasingly adopting digital platforms to streamline land administration processes, further propelling the market.

Furthermore, the agricultural sector is also significantly contributing to the growth of the cadastral mapping market. Modern agriculture relies heavily on accurate land parcel information for planning and optimizing crop production. By integrating cadastral maps with other geospatial data, farmers can improve land use efficiency, monitor crop health, and enhance yield predictions. This integration is particularly valuable in precision farming, which is becoming more prevalent as the world's population grows and the demand for food increases.

Regionally, Asia Pacific is expected to witness the highest growth in the cadastral mapping market. Factors such as rapid urbanization, extensive infrastructure development projects, and the need for improved land management are driving the demand in this region. Moreover, governments in countries like India and China are investing heavily in creating digital land records and implementing smart city initiatives, which further boosts the market. The North American and European markets are also substantial, driven by the advanced technological infrastructure and well-established land administration systems.

    Component Analysis

The cadastral mapping market can be segmented by component into software, hardware, and services. The software segment holds a significant share in this market, driven by the increasing adoption of advanced GIS and mapping software solutions. These software solutions enable accurate land parcel mapping, data analysis, and integration with other geospatial data systems, making them indispensable tools for cadastral mapping. Companies are continuously innovating to provide more intuitive and comprehensive software solutions, which is expected to fuel growth in this segment.

Hardware components, including GPS devices, drones, and other surveying equipment, are also critical to the cadastral mapping market. The hardware segment is expected to grow steadily as technological advancements improve the accuracy and efficiency of these devices. Innovations such as high-resolution aerial imaging and LIDAR technology are enhancing the capabilities of cadastral mapping hardware, allowing for more detailed and precise data collection. This segment is particularly essential for field surveying and data acquisition, forming the backbone of cadastral mapping projects.

The services segment encompasses a wide range of offerings, including consulting, implementation, and maintenance services. Professional services are vital for the successful deployment and operation of cadastral mapping systems. Governments and private sector organizations often rely on specialized service providers to implement these systems, train personnel, and ensure ongoing support. As the complexity of cadastral mapping projects increases, the demand for expert services is also expected to rise, contributing to the growth of this segment.

Integration services are another critical component within the

The Land & Building Management System (LBMS) application serves as a vital resource for accessing and managing data related to land parcels, buildings, and associated spatial features. The data in this application is actively maintained and updated on a daily basis from Monday through Friday, ensuring that users have access to the most current and relevant information.Whenever new LBMS records are detected, corresponding spatial features are dynamically added to the dataset. This process ensures that the application reflects accurate and up-to-date geospatial representations of land and building assets. It’s important to note, however, that while the LBMS application provides valuable insights, users requiring the most authoritative and comprehensive LBMS data should refer to the production LBMS system. This production environment serves as the definitive source of record for all LBMS-related data.

NZ Property Boundaries provides the best available representation of property boundaries in New Zealand.

Three data sources have been combined to create this property boundaries layer:

    • Rating Units - These are the main data source, taken from the NZ Properties: Unit of Property layer. This layer uses District Valuation Roll data to identify rateable properties and aggregates all spatialised titles associated with a Rating Unit into a single property.
    • Titles - Where there are no spatialised rating units, spatialised titles from the NZ Property Titles layer are included, if they are available.
    • Parcels – Where there are no rating units or spatialised titles, parcels from the NZ Primary Parcels layer are used to fill the in the remaining gaps.

NZ Property Boundaries is updated on a weekly basis. For more information please refer to the NZ Property Boundaries Data Dictionary

Please note: NZ Property Boundaries is an interim solution while work continues to develop the NZ Properties: Unit of Property layer. For more information about NZ Properties: Unit of Property, please see the New Zealand Property Spine on the Toitū Te Whenua LINZ website.

PLEASE NOTE: This record has been retired. It has been superseded by: https://environment.data.gov.uk/dataset/b5aaa28d-6eb9-460e-8d6f-43caa71fbe0eThis dataset is not suitable for identifying whether an individual property will flood. This bundle includes the Basic subset of layers from our Risk of Flooding from Surface Water (RoFSW) mapping, previously known as the updated Flood Map for Surface Water (uFMfSW). It is a group of datasets previously available as the uFMfSW Complex Package. The Basic subset includes the following layers: Risk of Flooding from Surface Water Extent: 0.1 percent annual chance Risk of Flooding from Surface Water Extent: 1 percent annual chance Risk of Flooding from Surface Water Extent: 3.3 percent annual chance Risk of Flooding from Surface Water Input Model DetailsRisk of Flooding from Surface Water Suitability

InformationWarnings: Risk of Flooding from Surface Water is not to be used at property level. If the Content is displayed in map form to others we recommend it should not be used with basemapping more detailed than 1:10,000 as the data is open to misinterpretation if used as a more detailed scale. Because of the way they have been produced and the fact that they are indicative, the maps are not appropriate to act as the sole evidence for any specific planning or regulatory decision or assessment of risk in relation to flooding at any scale without further supporting studies or evidence. Description

This dataset provides title information (excluding ownership) where there is a relationship to one or more primary parcels.

A Record of Title is a record of a property's owners, legal description and the rights and responsibilities registered against the title. This dataset does not contain any ownership information so that it can be freely distributed. If ownership information is required, you need to apply for access.

There can be multiple parcels associated with a title, and a title may only have a part share in a parcel. This means the shape representing the title will be an aggregation of all parcels that the title is associated with. The ‘spatial extents shared’ attribute when equal to ‘false’ will indicate that title has exclusive interest over all of the shape (this will be case for the vast majority).

The originating data for parcel/title associations includes some non-official sources where the official data does not support a link. For more information see the LINZ website

    Description

Polygons delineating Federal, Tribal, State, and Local government land ownership/management at a scale of 1:24,000 within Oregon. The Ownership Land Management feature class provides a current representation of statewide land management and ownership status by integrating the best available data for Federal, State and County sources. This is not a legal representation and should not be considered an official source of property ownership or management. The attributes include information on who is the title holder as well as the entity responsible for managing the property.

    Description

This layer includes all Crown Land and Properties managed by LINZ which have been identified spatially and can include properties managed by LINZ on behalf of other agencies. The attributes in this dataset are derived from the National Property and Land Information System (NaPALIS), which is a centralised database for all Land Information New Zealand (LINZ) and Department of Conservation (DOC) administered land.

The boundaries of many properties are linked to the applicable Landonline Primary Parcel(s), but in some cases the boundaries may have been drawn in as unsurveyed parcels to varying degrees of accuracy. As such please note that the boundaries are indicative only. The layer excludes any LINZ managed properties which do not have an identified location or extent.

More information on Crown Property can be found under the Crown Property section on the LINZ Website. A subset of Crown Property can be found in the South Island Pastoral Leases layer. A table of Property associations to Primary Parcels is published in the LDS here.

    Description

Publication Date: April 2025 2024 Parcel Data. Updated annually, or as needed. The data can be downloaded here: https://gis.ny.gov/parcels#data-download. This feature service has two layers: 1) NYS Tax Parcels Public, and 2) NYS Tax Parcels Public Footprint which contains polygons representing counties for which tax parcel polygons are available in the NYS Tax Parcels Public layer. County footprint polygons display when zoomed out beyond 1:37,050-scale. Tax parcel polygons display when zoomed in below 1:37,051-scale. The NYS Tax Parcels Public layer contains 2024 parcel data only for NY State counties which gave NYS ITS Geospatial Services permission to share this data with the public. Work to obtain parcel data from additional counties, as well as permission to share the data, is ongoing. To date, 36 counties have provided Geospatial Services permission to share their parcel data with the public. Parcel data for counties which do not allow Geospatial Services to redistribute their data must be obtained directly from those counties. Geospatial Services' goal is to eventually include parcel data for all counties in New York State. Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2024 Assessment Roll tabular data the NYS ITS Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel. Detailed information about assessment attributes can be found in the ORPTS Assessor’s Manuals available here: https://www.tax.ny.gov/research/property/assess/manuals/assersmanual.htm. New York City data comes from NYC MapPluto which can be found here: https://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data/dwn-pluto-mappluto.page. Thanks to the following counties that specifically authorized Geospatial Services to share their GIS tax parcel data with the public: Albany, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Cortland, Erie, Genesee, Greene, Hamilton, Lewis, Livingston, Montgomery, NYC- Bronx, NYC- Kings (Brooklyn), NYC- New York (Manhattan), NYC- Queens, NYC- Richmond (Staten Island), Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Orange, Oswego, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Schuyler, St Lawrence, Steuben, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Wayne, and Westchester. Geometry accuracy varies by contributing county. This map service is available to the public.
