Parcel feature class was created 03/02/2023. It is actively undergoing edits and is updated on a monthly basis.
SCIPS Statistics:
- 378 parcels have no SCIPS table match
- 213 are parcels added to The Villages at Vanden Meadows
- 125 are parcels with no APN recorded in the Tax Map (these are marked with 'No GIS Primary Table APN Match' in the PARCELID field).
- 27 are parcels that have APNs in the tax maps but have been prerecorded as not having a SCIPS match (these are marked with 'Currently Under Review as of 6/30/2022' in the Data Notes field).
- 5 represent land/base parcels that have condos overlaying them- the land parcels have an APN in the tax map.
- 8 remaining have land use codes of VACANT COMMERCIAL, VACANT RESIDENTIAL, TRANSITIONAL LAND, TAXABLE BELOW MINIMUM VALUE, & LIGHT INDUSTRIAL
- 34 SCIPS table records have no parcel match
- 2 SCIPS records with an ACTIVE status have a use description of NEWLY CREATED PARCELS.
- 32 SCIPS records with an ACTIVE status have a use description of one of the following: RIGHT OF WAY, GOVERNMENTAL & MISCELLANEOUS, AGRICULTURAL PROPERTY, VACANT COMMERCIAL LAND, TAXABLE BELOW MINIMUM VALUE, RAW SUBDIVISION LAND, VACANT RESIDENTIAL LAND < 1 AC.
Topology is built to flag overlaps and gaps within the data. However, the current data condition has exceptions. Overlap exceptions include overlapping air parcels depicting multistory buildings, such as condos, business parks, and trailer parks. Gap exceptions include missing right-of-way parcels and open space areas. These exceptions are being corrected where information within the Tax Maps is available.
As of the data's creation date:
- 4568 gaps exist
- 2403 overlaps exist

This archive contains supplementary figures from mapping potential conflicts between global agriculture and terrestrial conservation in 2010 and 2070. Please see the captions of these figures below.
Supplementary Figure 3. Distribution of regional land use by agricultural commodity and conservation priority (CP) index intervals (48 x 3 sub-figures). Supplementary Figure 4. Distribution of regional land use (left) and global land use (right) of 48 agricultural commodities (48 x 3 sub-figures). The x-axis is the land use as a proportion of the total global production area. Supplementary Figure 5. Comparison of the distribution of regional land use for 48 agricultural commodities between 2010 and 2070 scenarios (48 x 7 x 2 sub-figures). Supplementary Figure 6. Comparison of land use and conservation conflict between national and global levels. The y-axis refers to the land use as a proportion of the total global production area. There are 48 agricultural commodities for 197 countries (197 x 48 x 3 sub-figures). Supplementary Figure 7. Comparison of the land use distribution of top producers for 48 agricultural commodities between 2010 and 2070 scenarios (48 x 10 x 2 sub-figures). Supplementary Figure 8. Spatial distribution maps of production areas for 48 agricultural commodities (48 x 3 maps). Supplementary Figure 9. Conflict between conservation priority sites and (non-)domestic land use for 42 agricultural commodities associated with consumption in 197 countries (197 x 42 x 3 sub-figures). Supplementary Figure 10. Land use maps of 42 agricultural commodities linked to consumption in 197 countries (197 x 42 x 3 maps). Supplementary Figure 11. Conservation priority index and export rate of selected agricultural commodity for primary production cells (land use of each agricultural commodity > 10% of cell area). a) Current status in 2010. b) Shifts of conservation priority in 2070 (RCP 8.5). Triangles point-up and point-down to indicate increased and decreased CP, respectively. Density plots on top and right show cell densities corresponding to export rate and CP index, respectively. Supplementary Figure 12. Maps of global conservation priority index in 2010 and 2070. Supplementary Figure 13. a, Performance curves for prioritization per scenario 2010, 2070-RCP2.6, and 2070-RCP8.5). Curves show the average fraction of species' range covered in each scenario weighted by each species weight, divided by the total weight of species (y-axis), by a given fraction of the landscape (x-axis). b, Histograms and boxplots of all CP map pixels. Each jittered point in boxplots represents a map pixel.
This parcel lines feature class represents the current city parcel lines within the City of Los Angeles. It shares topology with the Landbase Parcel_polygons feature class. The Mapping and Land Records Division of the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works provides the most current geographic information of the public right of way, ownership and land record information. The legal boundaries are determined on the ground by license surveyors in the State of California, and by recorded documents from the Los Angeles County Recorder's office and the City Clerk's office of the City of Los Angeles. Parcel and ownership information are available on NavigateLA, a website hosted by the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works.Associated information about the landbase parcel lines is entered into attributes. Principal attributes include:CV_LAYER: is the principal field that describes the various types of lines like street and freeway right-of-ways, tract, lots, government property and easements lines, private street lines, utility right-of-ways, and ownership lines. For a complete list of attribute values, please refer to Landbase_parcel_lines_data_dictionary.Landbase parcels lines layer was created in geographical information systems (GIS) software to display the location of parcel lots. The parcels lines layer is a feature class in the LACityLandbaseData.gdb Geodatabase dataset. The layer consists of spatial data as a line feature class and attribute data for the features. The lines are derived from the polygon feature class in the landbase parcels layer, and information about the lines is entered into attributes. The CV_LAYER field values describe the various types of lines. The right-of-way, row, line features consist of CV_LAYER = 6, CV_LAYER = 106, and portions of CV_LAYER = 1 where that line is both the city boundary and the parcel line. In some cases, a parcel line will share two different type descriptions. Refer to CV_LAYER field metadata for further explantion. Parcel information should only be added to the Landbase Parcels layer if documentation exists, such as a Deed or a Plan approved by the City Council. When seeking the definitive description of real property, consult the recorded Deed or Plan.List of Fields:ASSETIDCV_LAYER: This value is a number representing a different type of user-assigned layer. Each of the line segments in the landbase parcels lines are assigned one of the CV_LAYER numbers, representing a different type of line work, described below. In some cases, a parcel line will share two different type descriptions. Such as, a parcel line may have CV_LAYER = 1 City Boundary line, and it is a CV_LAYER = 8 Tract line. The Tract line description is used first, and the City Boundary line description is used second. When selecting City Boundary line using CV_LAYER = 1, then (special way to select data...). The right-of-way, row, line features consist of CV_LAYER = 6, CV_LAYER = 106, and portions of CV_LAYER = 1 where that line is both the city boundary and the parcel line. Values: • 50 - Lot cut linework. • 38 - Freeway ease as easement lines. • 108 - Tract lines that are private street lines. • 8 - Tract lines, Rancho lines, Freeway (Fwy), and Right of way lines. • 30 - Former city boundary lines; other city or county boundary line. • 34 - Overlap lines. • 6 - Right of way (R/W) sidelines. • 19 - LA City easement lines. • 21 - All governmental lines (Fee). • 37 - APN (BPP) lines shown on tax assessors map (PCL maps); but no new PIN is created for the parcels polygon feature. • 48 - Subdivision title anno shown for ownership purpose (lot cut). • 10 - Lot lines. • 68 - SBBM (San Bernardino Base Meridian) section lines. • 1 - Boundary lines (existing). • 110 - Lot lines that are private street lines. • 18 - All governmental easement lines (except LA City and State freeway ease right of way lines). • 106 - Fwy traveled roadway lines; Dash right of way lines; Railroad and transmission lines. • 0 - Cadastral format.SHAPE: Feature geometry.OBJECTID: Internal feature number.ID: A unique numeric identifier of the polygon. The ID value is the last part of the PIN field value.MAPSHEET: The alpha-numeric mapsheet number, which refers to a valid B-map or A-map number on the Cadastral tract index map. Values: • B, A, -5A - Any of these alpha-numeric combinations are used, whereas the underlined spaces are the numbers.

This dataset is OBSOLETE as of 12/3/2024 and will be removed from ArcGIS Online on 12/3/2025.An updated version of this dataset is available at Land Use FY2024.This data set derives from several sources, and is updated annually with data current through July 1 of the reported year. The primary source is a data dump from the VISION assessing data system, which provided data up to date as of January 1, 2012, and is supplemented by information from subsequent building permits and Development Logs. (Use codes provided by this system combine aspects of land use, tax status, and condominium status. In an effort to clarify land use type the data has been cleaned and subdivided to break the original use code into several different fields.) The data set has further been supplemented and updated with development information provided by building permits issued by the Inspectional Services Department and from data found in the Development Log publication. Information from these sources is added to the data set periodically. Land use status is up to date as of the Last Modified date.Differences From “Official” Parcel LayerThe Cambridge GIS system maintains a separate layer of land parcels reflecting up to date subdivision and ownership. The parcel data associated with the Land Use Data set differs from the “official” parcel layer in a number of cases. For that reason this separate parcel layer is provided to work with land use data in a GIS environment. See the Assessing Department’s Parcel layer for the most up-to-date land parcel boundaries.Table of Land Use CodesThe following table lists all land use code found in the data layer:Land Use CodeLand Use DescriptionCategory0101MXD SNGL-FAM-REMixed Use Residential0104MXD TWO-FAM-RESMixed Use Residential0105MXD THREE-FM-REMixed Use Residential0111MXD 4-8-UNIT-APMixed Use Residential0112MXD >8-UNIT-APTMixed Use Residential0121MXD BOARDING-HSMixed Use Residential013MULTIUSE-RESMixed Use Residential031MULTIUSE-COMMixed Use Commercial0340MXD GEN-OFFICEMixed Use Commercial041MULTIUSE-INDMixed Use Industrial0942Higher Ed and Comm MixedMixed Use Education101SNGL-FAM-RESResidential1014SINGLE FAM W/AUResidential104TWO-FAM-RESResidential105THREE-FM-RESResidential106RES-LAND-IMPTransportation1067RES-COV-PKGTransportation1114-8-UNIT-APTResidential112>8-UNIT-APTResidential113ASSISTED-LIVAssisted Living/Boarding House121BOARDING-HSEAssisted Living/Boarding House130RES-DEV-LANDVacant Residential131RES-PDV-LANDVacant Residential132RES-UDV-LANDVacant Residential1322RES-UDV-PARK (OS) LNVacant Residential140CHILD-CARECommercial300HOTELCommercial302INN-RESORTCommercial304NURSING-HOMEHealth316WAREHOUSECommercial323SH-CNTR/MALLCommercial324SUPERMARKETCommercial325RETAIL-STORECommercial326EATING-ESTBLCommercial327RETAIL-CONDOCommercial330AUTO-SALESCommercial331AUTO-SUPPLYCommercial332AUTO-REPAIRCommercial334GAS-STATIONCommercialLand Use CodeLand Use DescriptionCategory335CAR-WASHCommercial336PARKING-GARTransportation337PARKING-LOTTransportation340GEN-OFFICEOffice341BANKCommercial342MEDICAL-OFFCHealth343OFFICE-CONDOOffice345RETAIL-OFFICOffice346INV-OFFICEOffice353FRAT-ORGANIZCommercial362THEATRECommercial370BOWLING-ALLYCommercial375TENNIS-CLUBCommercial390COM-DEV-LANDVacant Commercial391COM-PDV-LANDVacant Commercial392COM-UDV-LANDVacant Commercial3922CRMCL REC LNDVacant Commercial400MANUFACTURNGIndustrial401WAREHOUSEIndustrial404RES-&-DEV-FCOffice/R&D406HIGH-TECHOffice/R&D407CLEAN-MANUFIndustrial409INDUST-CONDOIndustrial413RESRCH IND CNDIndustrial422ELEC GEN PLANTUtility424PUB UTIL REGUtility428GAS-CONTROLUtility430TELE-EXCH-STAUtility440IND-DEV-LANDVacant Industrial442IND-UDV-LANDVacant Industrial920ParklandsPublic Open Space930Government OperationsGovernment Operations934Public SchoolsEducation940Private Pre & Elem SchoolEducation941Private Secondary SchoolEducation942Private CollegeHigher Education9421Private College Res UnitsEducation Residential943Other Educ & Research OrgHigher EducationLand Use CodeLand Use DescriptionCategory953CemeteriesCemetery955Hospitals & Medical OfficHealth956MuseumsHigher Education957Charitable ServicesCharitable/Religious960ReligiousCharitable/Religious971Water UtilityUtility972Road Right of WayTransportation975MBTA/RailroadTransportation9751MBTA/RailroadTransportation995Private Open SpacePrivately-Owned Open SpaceExplore all our data on the Cambridge GIS Data Dictionary.Attributes NameType DetailsDescription ML type: Stringwidth: 16precision: 0 Map-Lot: This a unique parcel identifier found in the deed and used by the Assessing data system. In a few cases, where parcels have been subdivided subsequent to January 1, 2012, a placeholder Map-Lot number is assigned that differs from that used elsewhere.
MAP type: Stringwidth: 5precision: 0 This Map portion of the unique parcel identifier found in the deed and used by the Assessing data system. In a few cases, where parcels have been subdivided subsequent to January 1, 2012, a placeholder Map-Lot number is assigned that differs from that used elsewhere.
LOT type: Stringwidth: 5precision: 0 This is the Lot portion of the unique parcel identifier found in the deed and used by the Assessing data system. In a few cases, where parcels have been subdivided subsequent to January 1, 2012, a placeholder Map-Lot number is assigned that differs from that used elsewhere.
Location type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 In the great majority of cases this is the street address of the parcel as it is recorded in the Registry of Deed record. In instances where edits were made to the base parcel layer the best address available at the time is employed.
LandArea type: Doublewidth: 8precision: 15
LUCode type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 The four digit text string in this field indicates the primary usage of a parcel. While the codes are based on the standard Massachusetts assessing land use classification system, they differ in a number of cases; the coding system used here is unique to this data set. Note that other minor uses may occur on a property and, in some cases, tenants may introduce additional uses not reflected here (eg, office space used as a medical office, home based businesses).
LUDesc type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 The short description gives more detail about the specific use indicated by the Land Use Code. Most descriptions are taken from the standard Massachusetts assessing land use classification system.
Category type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 This broader grouping of land uses can be used to map land use data. You can find the land use data mapped at: https://www.cambridgema.gov/CDD/factsandmaps/mapgalleries/othermaps
ExistUnits type: Doublewidth: 8precision: 15 This value indicates the number of existing residential units as of July 1 of the reported year. A residential unit may be a house, an apartment, a mobile home, a group of rooms or a single room that is occupied (or, if vacant, intended for occupancy) as separate living quarters. This includes units found in apartment style graduate student housing residences and rooms in assisted living facilities and boarding houses are treated as also housing units. The unit count does not include college or graduate student dormitories, nursing home rooms, group homes, or other group quarters living arrangements.
MixedUseTy type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 Two flags are used for this field. “Groundfloor” indicates that a commercial use is found on the ground floor of the primary building, and upper floors are used for residential purposes. “Mixed” indicates that two or more uses are found throughout the structure or multiple structures on the parcel, one of which is residential.
GQLodgingH type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 A value of “Yes” indicates that the primary use of the property is as a group quarters living arrangement. Group quarters are a place where people live or stay, in a group living arrangement, that is owned or managed by an entity or organization providing housing and/or services for the residents. Group quarters include such places as college residence halls, residential treatment centers, skilled nursing facilities, group homes, military barracks, correctional facilities, and workers’ dormitories.
Most university dormitories are included under the broader higher education land use code, as most dormitories are included in the larger parcels comprising the bulk of higher education campuses.
GradStuden type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 A value of “Yes” indicates the parcel is used to house graduate students in apartment style units. Graduate student dormitories are treated as a higher education land use.
CondoFlag type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 “Yes” indicates that the parcel is owned as a condominium. Condo properties can include one or more uses, including residential, commercial, and parking. The great majority of such properties in Cambridge are residential only.
TaxStatus type: Stringwidth: 254precision: 0 A value indicates that the parcel is not subject to local property taxes. The following general rules are employed to assign properties to subcategories, though special situations exist in a number of cases.
o Authority: Properties owned the Cambridge Redevelopment Authority and Cambridge Housing Authority. o City: Properties owned by the City of Cambridge or cemetery land owned by the Town of Belmont. o Educ: Includes properties used for education purposes, ranging from pre-schools to university research facilities. (More detail about the level of education can be found using the Land Use Code.) o Federal: Properties owned by the federal government, including the Post Office. Certain properties with assessing data indicating Cambridge Redevelopment Authority ownership are in fact owned by the federal government as part of the Volpe Transportation Research Center and are so treated here. o Other: Nontaxable properties owned by a nonprofit organization and not

As part of THEIA (the French Data and Services center for continental surfaces) CIRAD's TETIS research unit is developing an automated mapping method based on the Moringa chain that minimizes interactions with users by automating most image analysis and processing. The methodology uses jointly a Very High Spatial Resolution image (Spot6/7 or Pleiades) and one or more time series of High Spatial Resolution optical images such as Sentinel-2, Landsat-8 and Sentinel-1 for a classification combining segmentation and object classification (use of the Random Forest algorithm) driven by a learning database constituted from in situ collection and photo-interpretation. The land use maps, in ESRI shapefile format, are produced as part of the GABIR project (Gestion Agricole des Biomasses à l'échelle de l'Ile de la Réunion) and are all distributed on CIRAD's spatial data catalogue in Réunion: http://aware.cirad.fr/ This Dataverse entry concerns the maps produced, for the year 2019, using a mosaic of Spot6/7 images to calculate segmentation (extraction of homogeneous objects from the image). We use a field database with a nested nomenclature with 3 levels of accuracy allowing us to produce a classification by level. The most detailed level distinguishing crop types has an overall accuracy of 88% and a Kappa index of 0.86. Level 2, distinguishing crop groups, has an overall accuracy of 92% and a Kappa index of 0.93. Level 1, distinguishing major land use groups, has an overall accuracy of 97% and a Kappa index of 0.95. A detailed sheet presenting the validation method and results is available for download. The Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Unit falls under the purview of the County of Santa Cruz Information Services Department. The GIS Unit serves all County departments and external customers and provides data on land, features and people of Santa Cruz County. Santa Cruz County encompasses 4 cities and approximately 265,000 people. This coverage can be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying and map output production, or to provide a basemap to support graphical overlays and analyses of geospatial data.
This dataset includes one file for each of the 51 counties that were collected, as well as a CA_Merged file with the parcels merged into a single file.Note – this data does not include attributes beyond the parcel ID number (PARNO) – that will be provided when available, most likely by the state of California.DownloadA 1.6 GB zipped file geodatabase is available for download - click here.DescriptionA geodatabase with parcel boundaries for 51 (out of 58) counties in the State of California. The original target was to collect data for the close of the 2013 fiscal year. As the collection progressed, it became clear that holding to that time standard was not practical. Out of expediency, the date requirement was relaxed, and the currently available dataset was collected for a majority of the counties. Most of these were distributed with minimal metadata. The table “ParcelInfo” includes the data that the data came into our possession, and our best estimate of the last time the parcel dataset was updated by the original source. Data sets listed as “Downloaded from” were downloaded from a publicly accessible web or FTP site from the county. Other data sets were provided directly to us by the county, though many of them may also be available for direct download. Â These data have been reprojected to California Albers NAD84, but have not been checked for topology, or aligned to county boundaries in any way. Tulare County’s dataset arrived with an undefined projection and was identified as being California State Plane NAD83 (US Feet) and was assigned by ICE as that projection prior to reprojection. Kings County’s dataset was delivered as individual shapefiles for each of the 50 assessor’s books maintained at the county. These were merged to a single feature class prior to importing to the database. The attribute tables were standardized and truncated to include only a PARNO (APN). The format of these fields has been left identical to the original dataset. The Data Interoperablity Extension ETL tool used in this process is included in the zip file. Where provided by the original data sources, metadata for the original data has been maintained. Please note that the attribute table structure changes were made at ICE, UC Davis, not at the original data sources.Parcel Source InformationCountyDateCollecDateCurrenNotesAlameda4/8/20142/13/2014Download from Alamenda CountyAlpine4/22/20141/26/2012Alpine County PlanningAmador5/21/20145/14/2014Amador County Transportation CommissionButte2/24/20141/6/2014Butte County Association of GovernmentsCalaveras5/13/2014Download from Calaveras County, exact date unknown, labelled 2013Contra Costa4/4/20144/4/2014Contra Costa Assessor’s OfficeDel Norte5/13/20145/8/2014Download from Del Norte CountyEl Dorado4/4/20144/3/2014El Dorado County AssessorFresno4/4/20144/4/2014Fresno County AssessorGlenn4/4/201410/13/2013Glenn County Public WorksHumboldt6/3/20144/25/2014Humbodt County AssessorImperial8/4/20147/18/2014Imperial County AssessorKern3/26/20143/16/2014Kern County AssessorKings4/21/20144/14/2014Kings CountyLake7/15/20147/19/2013Lake CountyLassen7/24/20147/24/2014Lassen CountyLos Angeles10/22/201410/9/2014Los Angeles CountyMadera7/28/2014Madera County, Date Current unclear likely 7/2014Marin5/13/20145/1/2014Marin County AssessorMendocino4/21/20143/27/2014Mendocino CountyMerced7/15/20141/16/2014Merced CountyMono4/7/20144/7/2014Mono CountyMonterey5/13/201410/31/2013Download from Monterey CountyNapa4/22/20144/22/2014Napa CountyNevada10/29/201410/26/2014Download from Nevada CountyOrange3/18/20143/18/2014Download from Orange CountyPlacer7/2/20147/2/2014Placer CountyRiverside3/17/20141/6/2014Download from Riverside CountySacramento4/2/20143/12/2014Sacramento CountySan Benito5/12/20144/30/2014San Benito CountySan Bernardino2/12/20142/12/2014Download from San Bernardino CountySan Diego4/18/20144/18/2014San Diego CountySan Francisco5/23/20145/23/2014Download from San Francisco CountySan Joaquin10/13/20147/1/2013San Joaquin County Fiscal year close dataSan Mateo2/12/20142/12/2014San Mateo CountySanta Barbara4/22/20149/17/2013Santa Barbara CountySanta Clara9/5/20143/24/2014Santa Clara County, Required a PRA requestSanta Cruz2/13/201411/13/2014Download from Santa Cruz CountyShasta4/23/20141/6/2014Download from Shasta CountySierra7/15/20141/20/2014Sierra CountySolano4/24/2014Download from Solano Couty, Boundaries appear to be from 2013Sonoma5/19/20144/3/2014Download from Sonoma CountyStanislaus4/23/20141/22/2014Download from Stanislaus CountySutter11/5/201410/14/2014Download from Sutter CountyTehama1/16/201512/9/2014Tehama CountyTrinity12/8/20141/20/2010Download from Trinity County, Note age of data 2010Tulare7/1/20146/24/2014Tulare CountyTuolumne5/13/201410/9/2013Download from Tuolumne CountyVentura11/4/20146/18/2014Download from Ventura CountyYolo11/4/20149/10/2014Download from Yolo CountyYuba11/12/201412/17/2013Download from Yuba County
Metadata creation by Eric Lubell (GIS Coordinator) on 7/15/24. Current GIS Coordinator is taking over from a retired employee who curated the data for 25 years, with a varied degree of attention to detail. This is a small, rural County, and we apologize in advance for any errors.MAP - this is the last 3 digits of the parcel number and needs to be updated whenever a parcel number is changed. This field should not be null.LOT - this is typically from the plat and may or may not exist. This field, historically, has many values other than the LOT stored in it. This field has not been reliably populated and is assumed to have many errors that will eventually be fixed. No ETA on accuracy QAQC. This field can be null.BLK - current GIS Coordinator still not entirely sure what this field represents. This field can be null.SUB - this field is supposed to represent the subdivision that the parcel is contained within. This field has not been reliably populated and is assumed to have many errors that will eventually be fixed. No ETA on accuracy QAQC. This field can not be null.MAPLOC - this is a combination of data. The first 4 digits should represent the State of Colorado's Assessment Mapping and Parcel Identification ID. The next 2 digits are the PLSS Section number. I'm not exactly sure what any additional digits represent but is is common to have additional digits. It is also common to only have 4 digits and, as always, QAQC is needed and an ETA is unknown.ORDER_ - C stands for Calculated (Aliquot parts w/o survey infromation) and S stands for Survey. This field can be null and I suspect there are many errors, not really sure if it should be kept at all. REMOVED 6/16/25 after backup.MR - this is for Mineral Rights. 600s are for improvements on leased land, 700s are mineral rights, 800s are mining claims. MRO is mineral rights only. This field can be null and I suspect there are many errors, not really sure if it should be kept at all.PI - this is for Partial Interest. This field can be null and I suspect there are many errors, not really sure if it should be kept at all. REMOVED 6/16/25 after backup.MapType - clearly something related to PLSS data but I suspect this field is highly inaccurate. This field can be null and I suspect there are many errors, not really sure if it should be kept at all. REMOVED 6/16/25 after backup.ORDERNO - this field is no longer relevant and will be deleted. DELETED 8/1/24.STREETNO - the street number of the address. Some parcels have yet to be assigned an address, so this field can be null.PREDIRECTION - the direction of the address, for example W for West before something like Main Street. This field can be null.STREETNAME - the street name of the address. This field can be null but should probably be filled in more than it is.STREETTYPE - the street type, drive, circle, etc. This field can be null.UNITTYPE - field used to identify the type of unit, currently only building, common elements, hangar, lot, or unit. UNITTYPE and LOT seem to have been used interchangeably, so some QAQC needs to happen. This is primarily for multi family housing. This field can be null.UNITNAME - the number or letter assigned to the unit. This field can be null.PROPERTYCITY - the city or township where the parcel is situated. Unincorporated indicates it is on County land. This field should not be null.EXEMPT - this field identifies exempt parcels: BV is Buena Vista, CC is Chaffee County, CO is State of Colorado, OT is Other (think churches), PS is Poncha Springs, SA is Salida, SA/CC is Salida and Chaffee County, SD is School District, US is the Federal Government, DPT = Department of Property Taxation. These are tax exempt properties. This field can be null.BUSINESSNAME - no clue as to the accuracy of this data but an attempt at identifying the business that exists on the parcel. It should probably be removed from the parcel data and only remain in the exports from RealWare. This field can be null.ADDRES - the full address concatenated from the other address related fields. This field should not be null.TaxDist - the tax district of the parcel. With the exception of parcels that split a tax district, this field should be accurate as of 7/14/24. This field should not be null.AREA - this is where the area was captured from the plat map. However, it was not filled in consistently. It will be replaced with the next 4 fields for better accuracy. This field should not be null.Plat_Acres - if there is an acres value on the plat, it should be recorded here. This field can be null.GIS_Acres - calculated with geodesic value on all parcels and used as a QAQC on the plat acres (if applicable). This field should not be null.Plat_SqFt - if there is a square footage value on the plat, it should be recorded here. This field can be null.GIS_SqFt - calculated with geodesic value on all parcels and used as a QAQC on the plat square footage (if applicable). This field should not be null.NOTE_01 - field added by current GIS Coordinator to capture notes not applicable to other fields. This field was used in some cases to capture previously entered data that wasn't entered into the correct place. This field can be null.NOTE_02 - second field added by current GIS Coordinator to capture notes not applicable to other fields. This field was used in some cases to capture previously entered data that wasn't entered into the correct place. This field can be null.Added "ReceptNum" on 9/20/24 to record the reception number from the Recorder's Office.PROCESSING NOTES: Over the last six months, the current GIS Coordinator has spent significant amounts of time and effort to clean this layer up. Starting on 7/14/24, additional QA/QC and processing notes will be recorded here:7/18/24 - used Select by Attributes to identify 75 parcels where the MAP value did NOT match the last three digits of the Parcel and fixed them accordingly. PARCEL LIKE '%' || CAST(MAP AS VARCHAR(3)). This was the field calculator expression to fix the issue: !PARCEL![-3:]8/1/24 - added and attributed the Fire District and Tax District fields. Also exported the Owner table from ListBuilder so I could populate the STATUS field and the GIS_TYPE field.8/8/24 - added in the redacted accounts (Status = Redacted) so that I can be sure NOT to deliver the ownership data for these parcels in data requests. The query STATUS LIKE '%Redacted%' will identify them all.8/8/24 - Ran the Condo Search in RW and updated the GIS_TYPE field accordingly. My initial accounting of Condos in GIS came up with 554 parcels but the RW export showed 689 so much more accurate.
