The surveys and plats feature layer includes information related to the following topics.Control Point - The control point dataset represents corner points that have been observed by IDL staff or a licensed surveyor. Corners are points on the surface of the earth, determined by the surveying process, which defines an extremity on a boundary of the public lands. Points are represented by a type to determine the source of the corner. Control points have been gathered from various sources. These points are used to adjust the Parcel Fabric. This allows for a more accurate GIS representation of ground conditions.Survey and Plat Line - A record of survey is a detailed map that documents and identifies the physical land boundaries or property lines for a specific parcel of land. This feature class represents the parcel lines documented in a record of survey. These records of surveys can include subdivision plats and surveys performed by federal entities. The metes and bounds information is stored as attribute values.Subdivision - "Subdivision" means the division of a lot, tract, or parcel of land into two or more lots, plats, sites, or other divisions of land for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of sale or of building development. It includes resubdivision and, when appropriate to the context, relates to the process of subdividing or to the land or territory subdivided.Lots and Blocks - A lot is an individual piece of land which is intended to be conveyed in its entirety to a buyer. A block is generally a group of contiguous lots bounded by streets, such as a city block.Record of Surveys - A record of survey is a detailed map that documents and identifies the physical land boundaries or property lines for a specific parcel of land. This feature class represents the parcels documented in a record of survey. These records of surveys do not include subdivision plats, lots, or blocks.State Surface Ownership - This feature class contains the surface ownership for endowment lands managed by the Idaho Department of Lands. There is also data for other state agencies, but this data is not complete.PLSS Township - Townships are normally a square approximately six miles on a side with cardinal boundaries conforming to meridians and parallels, containing 36 sections of one square mile each.PLSS Section - The first set of divisions for a PLSS Township. Typically 640 acres or 1 square mile.PLSS Subsection - Is a quarter, quarter-quarter, sixteenth, or government lot division of the PLSS.

    Description

The land register is the basis for the registration of property in Denmark and forms an important part of the administrative base in the public administration. The cadastre consists, conceptually, of the cadastral register, the cadastral map and the cadastral archive. The register contains information on areas, including, where appropriate, road or watercourse areas, listing conditions (e.g. agricultural properties, total immovable property or forest). The cadastral map is a digital, legal map work showing the registered property boundaries and road rights. The land register map also shows the forested areas, zones for beach protection and dune conservation. The Matrikel Archive contains, among other things, previously applicable cadastral maps, cadastral protocols and registered cadastral cases, including target information. The cadastral register and the cadastre are integrated into a single data model, where “Matricular data” is the core data element.

Cadastral data can be divided into three groups: Elements of the basic index, other elements and themes. The Basismatricle contains the elements of the cadastral process and they are important elements in determining the basic cadastral situation. Elements of the basic index: Cadastral, busy road, land plot, centroid point, dividing point, fixed point, boundary stone. Other elements contain administrative and cadastral areas which can be automatically derived from elements in the base cadastre. Thus, they are not directly part of the cadastral process, but can be used as support material in the process. Themes: Region, municipality, parish, owner low, manred, survey district. Finally, themes are elements that build on the basic cadastral situation, which is part of the cadastral process (land interest, majorat forest, stormfalls, forest conservation, beach protection, dune conservation, land contamination).

    Description

This dataset is available on Brisbane City Council’s open data website – data.brisbane.qld.gov.au. The site provides additional features for viewing and interacting with the data and for downloading the data in various formats.

This dataset combines Brisbane City Council property information with the Queensland Government Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) to show property holdings in Brisbane City Council area.

A property holding is a Council-defined and managed information entity. Its boundaries are generally based on land parcels. A property holding may consist of one or multiple land parcels.

The Digital Cadastral Database (DCDB) is the spatial representation of every current parcel of land in Queensland, and its legal Lot on Plan description and relevant attributes. It provides the map base for systems dealing with land related information. The DCDB is considered to be the point of truth for the graphical representation of property boundaries. It is not the point of truth for the legal property boundary or related attribute information, this will always be the plan of survey or the related titling information and administrative data sets.

The Florida TIITF Land Records Spatial Index is a document based GIS layer to be displayed as a map comprised of polygons and attributes representing parcels described in deeds, leases, easements and other instruments archived in the Title Archives of the Division of State Lands, Department of Environmental Protection for the Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund (TIITF). The polygons represent parcels described in the archived TIITF land record documents; this is not a tax map or a representation of current ownership. The data includes acquisitions, dispositions and encumbrances. Selecting a parcel on the map may return information about several different documents associated with that parcel through out the history of State land transactions involving that parcel.

    Description

    Content TitleLot Boundaries
    Content TypeHosted Feature Layer
DescriptionNSW Land Parcel and Property Theme MultiCRS - Lot is a polygon feature that defines a parcel of land created on a survey plan. Parcel polygons are defined by a series of boundary lines that store recorded dimensions as attributes in the lines table. It visualises these boundaries of land parcels, often buildings on land, the parcel identifier, and basic topographic features.

NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme provides the foundation fabric of land ownership. It consists of the digital cadastral database and associated parcel and property information.

NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Lot is made up of the following features within the NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme.

    Cadastral Fabric – Lot

Lot - Depicts a parcel of land created on a survey plan. Each lot may be represented by standard lots, standard part lots, strata or stratum. Each lot has a lot number, section number, plan lot area, plan number, plan label, Integrated Titling System (ITS) title status, and stratum label.

Land and property data underpins the economic, social and environmental fabric of NSW and is used, amongst other things, to:
    • Secure tenure for access to capital
    • Define allowable use of land
    • Manage native title, nature conservation, heritage, protection, defence, and disaster management
    • Improve infrastructure and property development planning
    • Inform water and carbon accounting programs
Spatial Services continuously updates the Land Parcel and Property theme with information sourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. The majority of updates to the datasets in this theme originate from subdivision, registration and gazettal activity.

The data is up to date to within 10 working days from when a plan is lodged at NSW Land Registry Services. Data is also sourced from Crown Lands, the Office of Environment and Heritage, the Aboriginal Land Council, Local Land Services, the Electoral Commission and NSW Trade and Investment.

The Cadastral upgrade program commenced in 2007 and is ongoing, improving the spatial accuracy of different feature classes. Upgrades are carried out in consultation with the relevant Local Government Authority and are further facilitated through the incorporation of data provided by external agencies. Upgrade positional accuracy varies across the state and generally ranges from less than 5m from true position in rural areas to less than 0.2m from true position in urban areas, dependent on the survey control available.

Data quality for both Cadastral Maintenance and Cadastral Upgrade activities are assured through specification compliance and data topology rules. The client delivery database is automatically updated each evening with the changes that occurred that day in the maintenance environment.

AccuracyThe dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. A program to upgrade the spatial location and accuracy of data is ongoing.

The conserved lands layer is an inventory of Maine’s terrestrial protected areas that are dedicated to the preservation of biological diversity and to other natural, recreation and cultural uses, and which are managed for these purposes through legal or other effective means. Conserved Lands contains conservation lands ownership boundaries at 1:24,000 scale for Maine land in federal, state, municipal and non-profit ownership with easements. State, county, town, and coast boundary data were obtained from MEGIS town boundary dataset METWP24. 1:24,000 US Geological Survey (USGS) digital line graph data was used for hydrography and transportation features. Where state, county, and town boundaries were coincident with property boundaries, the coincident features were taken from METWP24. Where hydrography, roads, railroads and power-lines were coincident with property boundaries, the coincident features were taken from 1:24,000 digital line graph data. The ownership lines do not represent legal boundaries nor are the ownership lines a survey. Conserved Lands is an inventory of approximate property boundaries.Conserved Lands was created to provide GIS coverage for the conservation lands database. The ownership lines do not represent legal boundaries nor are the ownership lines a survey. The data contained in Conserved Lands is an inventory only. Users must assume responsibility in determining the usability of this data for their purposes. Data at this scale is suitable for local and regional planning. Original mapping was produced in 1989, updated in 1993 by R.D. Kelly Jr. of the State Planning Office. Data is continually updated.Conservation organizations, land trusts, and municipalities can submit new or updated fee ownership or easement parcels to the statewide Conserved Lands layer by emailing a shapefile to Tracy Scopel, tracy.scopel@maine.gov. Please use the same attribute fields in the shapefile and follow the guidance for populating the data in the Conserved Lands Layer Attributes Handout. Please indicate for each parcel polygon whether it is a new addition or an edit of an existing feature. If editing a feature please make sure the CL_UNIQUEID value from the existing feature in Conserved Lands is included.

Only active parcels are included in this dataset. This layer shows the latest parcel boundaries and owner information recorded in the city's property records. Since some parcels have more than one owner (like condos), this dataset connects each parcel shape (GPIN) to all its owners (PIN).Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) assigns zoning and addresses, then shares this information with the City Assessor's Office to be added to the property records system (CAMA).This file is not a legal document for any parcel. Any mistakes or missing information can be directed to the Assessor's Office to have them corrected.

    Description

This layer provides the latest captured boundary mark information that defines existing parcel boundaries and associated information such as the mark name.

A boundary mark is on a node which defines the boundaries of primary parcels or non primary parcels.

Not all boundary points have a physical monument (e.g. a peg) placed. In this case the boundary mark is recorded as “unmarked”

This dataset extends the Landonline stored data by including the network accuracy which is based upon its assigned Landonline order - refer LINZS25006 (http://www.linz.govt.nz/about-linz/news-publications-and-consultations/search-for-regulatory-documents/DocumentSummary.aspx?document=256 ).

The accuracy provided relates to the accuracy of coordinates of the mark and has little relevance to the accuracy of the boundary in relation to other boundaries. For example, if the coordinates of the mark were used to locate it, a user would expect to find the existing mark within the nominal accuracy (distance) stated.

    Description

This layer provides the latest bearing (direction) and/or distance for cadastral boundaries.

When a cadastral survey is undertaken the relationship between boundary and non-boundary marks is ascertained or measured. • This commonly is in the form or a vector (bearing and distance), but occasionally just one component. • Some relationships are defined as arcs. In this data layer, the arc length is recorded in the distance field and a separate record holds the chord.

Only observations that have been captured in Landonline are available. This includes vectors that were re-captured in the Survey Capture Areas from survey plans lodged prior to Landonline and all survey observations since.

    Description

Land parcel data for all properties in the City of Detroit from the Office of the Assessor. These are the parcel boundaries for the 2024 tax year. The Parcels data set from the City of Detroit Office of the Assessor is updated daily with land parcel data for all properties within the City of Detroit. Records in this data set describe the assessed values, rights, ownership interests, most recent sales data, physical descriptions, and addresses associated with each parcel. Parcels are distinguished from lots or plots of land in that property ownership rights are the fundamental units of division between parcels. The graphic depiction of land parcels represents real property ownership within the City for both privately and publicly owned properties.Data maintenance note: Databases used by the Office of the Assessor for parcels data are checked for updates daily. If an update is detected, the published Parcels dataset is then updated to reflect the most recent data available. Similarly, Zoning data provided by the Buildings, Safety Engineering, and Environmental Department (BSEED) Zoning Division is checked for updates daily. If any updates are available, values in the Zoning field are updated to reflect the most recent zoning data available. The "Data Updated" date for the Parcels dataset reflects the most recent date any data updates were detected and incorporated into the Parcels dataset. The GIS / Land Records Maintenance Division in the Office of the Assessor manages the data integrity of the parcel file.

Description

Property boundaries represent the extent of ownership of an address in line with NSW Valuer General for the purposes of address verification and rating. The spatial layer is derived from land parcel boundaries (cadastre) originally supplied by NSW Spatial Services who remain the source of cadastral information. See SiX mapsThis spatial layer has been significantly changed and maintained by City of Sydney Spatial Services. This layer is not survey accurate.Geoservice API disabled, but geojson and download permitted.
