    Description

    The Florida TIITF Land Records Spatial Index is a document based GIS layer to be displayed as a map comprised of polygons and attributes representing parcels described in deeds, leases, easements and other instruments archived in the Title Archives of the Division of State Lands, Department of Environmental Protection for the Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund (TIITF). The polygons represent parcels described in the archived TIITF land record documents; this is not a tax map or a representation of current ownership. The data includes acquisitions, dispositions and encumbrances. Selecting a parcel on the map may return information about several different documents associated with that parcel through out the history of State land transactions involving that parcel.

    Description

    This parcels polygons feature class represents current city parcels within the City of Los Angeles. It shares topology with the Landbase parcel lines feature class. The Mapping and Land Records Division of the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works provides the most current geographic information of the public right of way, ownership and land record information. The legal boundaries are determined on the ground by license surveyors in the State of California, and by recorded documents from the Los Angeles County Recorder's office and the City Clerk's office of the City of Los Angeles. Parcel and ownership information are available on NavigateLA, a website hosted by the Bureau of Engineering, Department of Public Works.Associated information about the landbase parcels is entered into attributes. Principal attributes include:PIN and PIND: represents the unique auto-generated parcel identifier and key to related features and tables. This field is related to the LA_LEGAL, LA_APN and LA_HSE_NBR tables. PIN contains spaces and PIND replaces those spaces with a dash (-).LA_LEGAL - Table attributes containing legal description. Principal attributes include the following:TRACT: The subdivision tract number as recorded by the County of Los AngelesMAP_REF: Identifies the subdivision map book reference as recorded by the County of Los Angeles.LOT: The subdivision lot number as recorded by the County of Los Angeles.ENG_DIST: The four engineering Districts (W=Westla, C=Central, V= Valley and H=Harbor).CNCL_DIST: Council Districts 1-15 of the City of Los Angeles. OUTLA means parcel is outside the City.LA_APN- Table attributes containing County of Los Angeles Assessors information. Principal attributes include the following:BPP: The Book, Page and Parcel from the Los Angeles County Assessors office. SITUS*: Address for the property.LA_HSE_NBR - Table attributes containing housenumber information. Principal attributes include the following:HSE_ID: Unique id of each housenumber record.HSE_NBR: housenumber numerical valueSTR_*: Official housenumber addressFor a complete list of attribute values, please refer to Landbase_parcel_polygons_data_dictionary.Landbase parcels polygons data layer was created in geographical information systems (GIS) software to display the location of the right of way. The parcels polygons layer delineates the right of way from Landbase parcels lots. The parcels polygons layer is a feature class in the LACityLandbaseData.gdb Geodatabase dataset. The layer consists of spatial data as a polygon feature class and attribute data for the features. The area inside a polygon feature is a parcel lot. The area outside of the parcel polygon feature is the right of way. Several polygon features are adjacent, sharing one line between two polygons. For each parcel, there is a unique identifier in the PIND and PIN fields. The only difference is PIND has a dash and PIN does not. The types of edits include new subdivisions and lot cuts. Associated legal information about the landbase parcels lots is entered into attributes. The landbase parcels layer is vital to other City of LA Departments, by supporting property and land record operations and identifying legal information for City of Los Angeles. The landbase parcels polygons are inherited from a database originally created by the City's Survey and Mapping Division. Parcel information should only be added to the Landbase Parcels layer if documentation exists, such as a Deed or a Plan approved by the City Council. When seeking the definitive description of real property, consult the recorded Deed or Plan.List of Fields:ID: A unique numeric identifier of the polygon. The ID value is the last part of the PIN field value.ASSETID: User-defined feature autonumber.MAPSHEET: The alpha-numeric mapsheet number, which refers to a valid B-map or A-map number on the Cadastral grid index map. Values: • B, A, -5A - Any of these alpha-numeric combinations are used, whereas the underlined spaces are the numbers. An A-map is the smallest grid in the index map and is used when there is a large amount of spatial information in the map display. There are more parcel lines and annotation than can fit in the B-map, and thus, an A-map is used. There are 4 A-maps in a B-map. In areas where parcel lines and annotation can fit comfortably in an index map, a B-map is used. The B-maps are at a scale of 100 feet, and A-maps are at a scale of 50 feet.OBJECTID: Internal feature number.BPPMAP_REFTRACTBLOCKMODLOTARBCNCL_DIST: LA City Council District. Values: • (numbers 1-15) - Current City Council Member for that District can be found on the mapping website http://navigatela.lacity.org/navigatela, click Council Districts layer name, under Boundaries layer group.SHAPE: Feature geometry.BOOKPAGEPARCELPIND: The value is a combination of MAPSHEET and ID fields, creating a unique value for each parcel. The D in the field name PIND, means "dash", and there is a dash between the MAPSHEET and ID field values. This is a key attribute of the LANDBASE data layer. This field is related to the APN and HSE_NBR tables.ENG_DIST: LA City Engineering District. The boundaries are displayed in the Engineering Districts index map. Values: • H - Harbor Engineering District. • C - Central Engineering District. • V - Valley Engineering District. • W - West LA Engineering District.PIN: The value is a combination of MAPSHEET and ID fields, creating a unique value for each parcel. There are spaces between the MAPSHEET and ID field values. This is a key attribute of the LANDBASE data layer. This field is related to the APN and HSE_NBR tables.

    Description

    In 1892 the recently formed MMBW had contractors survey Melbourne as part of the task of establishing the metropolitan sewerage system. The survey fixed the location of structures within allotments and the associated levels.

    As a result of the survey a number of different types of records were created that documented the urban structure at the time and for the next 80 years. As the record system was understood in 2000, the systems major elements were:

    * Survey field books books used by surveyors to record their field observations.

    * Survey level books books that record levels above and below a datum point.

    * One inch to forty feet plans and their metric successors used for the location of structures and the sewerage system (including Detail Plans [DP], Sewerage Plans and Property Service plans). Lithographic copies of the forty feet to one inch plans were produced for distribution and working purposes and, later, plate photographic negatives of the DP and sewerage plans were made. Microfilm copies of house connections files containing Property Service plans were made in the 1970s and the 1980s.

    * Plans of other scales.
    * Index maps maps that index other maps and plans.

    Description

    This layer of the map based index (GeoIndex) shows where aquifer vulnerability maps are available for England and Wales. These maps identify areas in which the groundwater resources require protection from potentially polluting activities. The maps are designed to be used by planners, developers, consultants and regulatory bodies to ensure that developments conform to the Policy and Practice of the Environment Agency for the protection of Groundwater. The Soil Survey, Land Research Centre and the British Geological Survey were commissioned by the Environment Agency to prepare 53 groundwater vulnerability maps at 1:100,000 scale. Currently we are unable to provide scanned copies of these maps due to Copyright restrictions. Please note that these maps are based on data from the late 1980's and early 1990's. More up-to-date digital data may now be available from the Environment Agency.

    This layer of the map based index (GeoIndex) shows the location of land and marine gravity observations on the UK mainland, Northern Ireland, offshore islands, tidal estuaries and seabed. Most of the surveys were carried out by the BGS but the database includes data originally acquired by other organisations and subsequently given to the BGS to be managed as part of the national archive. Complete coverage of the UK mainland with a station density of 1-2 stations per square kilometre. Unadjusted ship gravity, magnetic and bathymetry data acquired by BGS as part of its Offshore Reconnaisance Mapping Programme. Unadjusted ship gravity, magnetic and bathymetry data acquired by BGS as part of its Offshore Reconnaisance Mapping Programme. This programme commenced in 1967, and was funded mainly by the Department of Energy. Marine gravity readings are from unadjusted ship gravity and bathymetry data from various commercial and academic surveys between 1965 and 1994. Confidential M.O.D Hydrographic Office integrated ship gravity and magnetics surveys of NW Europe marine areas for which BGS acts as agent. Network adjusted gravity and magnetic compilations of data from BGS and non-BGS sources.

The North America portion of this collection was formerly called the North American ASTER Land Surface Emissivity Database (NAALSED) - a seasonal dataset consisting of mean summer (J-A-S) and winter (J-F-M) products.

    ASTER GED products are output on 1degree x 1 degree grids at 100-meter or 1-kilometer spatial resolution (nominal) and include the mean emissivity and standard deviation for all 5 ASTER thermal infrared bands, mean land surface temperature (LST) and standard deviation, a re-sampled ASTER GDEM (not included in the North America Winter products), land-water mask, mean Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and standard deviation, latitude, longitude, and observation count.

    Additional ASTER GED product information is available at https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/products/community_products_table. Product tiles are available in HDF and binary format and may be downloaded via HTTP by visiting the following data clients: NASA Reverb (http://reverb.echo.nasa.gov), LP DAAC Data Pool (http://e4ftl01.cr.usgs.gov/ASTT/), or EarthExplorer (http://earthexplorer.usgs.gov).

    Description

    Public Land Survey System Network for Waupaca County, WI. The layer was derived from a variety of source maps including PLSS corner tie sheets, section summaries and other survey maps filed in the County Surveyor's office. Quarter and Quarter-Quarter divisions were established by existing survey when applicable. In the absence of survey data straight line intersects between quarter corners was used to establish quarter and quarter-quarter lines. The index layer is available in a county-wide or individual layer for each township, city, or village.
