    What is Land Parcel Data?

Land parcel data refers to a collection of spatially referenced information about individual land parcels or lots within a specified area. It includes attributes such as parcel ID, owner information, legal descriptions, acreage, zoning classifications, tax assessments, and geographic coordinates. This data is typically sourced from government agencies, cadastral surveys, and private entities, then compiled and organized into a structured dataset suitable for analysis and visualization.

    Land Parcel Data Details:

    • 157 Million nationwide parcel records and geometries
    • Approximately 100 attributes (standard schema)
    • Tax assessment fields
    • Universal parcel ID
    • Monthly rolling updates
    • Standardized land use codes
    • USPS validated address data with residential property & vacancy indicators
    • Building counts & footprint square footage attributes
    • Right-of-way (ROW) parcel indicator
    • Placekey - Location identifier
    • Flood zones and school districts
    • Homesteads exemption
      • Crop data layer fields

    Description

*** THIS DATA IS A SNAPSHOT AS AT 31ST MARCH 2025 *** The Register provides information on the availability of surplus land for those government departments and their sponsored bodies which fall under the responsibility of English Ministers. The Register is also used on a voluntary basis by NHS trusts and Welsh Government. The land records are presented as points data. This dataset does not include the land parcel boundaries. The Register helps to ensure that wider Government objectives, including housing needs are factored into land disposal decisions. Through the Register, the disposing body provides details of the site and there is a window of 40 working days during which certain public sector bodies can identify new uses for the land.

The dataset available on data.gov.uk covers all sites that are outside the 40 working day ‘window’. Such sites may be included in the disposal strategies that have been published by a number of individual government departments. In addition, these sites may now be ‘on the market’ and being actively marketed. The ‘Register of Public Sector Land’ dataset provides details of any sites that are being disposed of through the Register of Surplus Public Sector Land and are outside the 40 working day ‘window’ Certain properties may have more than one entry in the data extract as government has more than one ‘interest’ in that property. Again, the extract provides information about the ‘owning’ government department and the ‘property centre’, i.e. that part of the government department responsible for that property. In addition, it has a property reference (the ‘ePIMS Property Ref’) that allows it to be linked to the other data extracts.

The scope of the data includes land and property information for those government departments, together with any arms’ length bodies for which they are responsible, including their non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs), which fall under the responsibility of English Ministers. These assets are primarily located in England, but are also located in the devolved administrations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as overseas. Also, some Local Authorities have chosen to publish their property data as part of our transparency exercise. The Register helps to ensure that wider Government objectives, including housing needs are factored into land disposal decisions. Description

A list of central and local government land in England, which may not be registered with HM Land Registry (HMLR).

HMLR has created this dataset for the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) by combining HMLR freehold polygon data with the public sector ownership data currently openly available from the Office of Government Property.

The dataset is not definitive or complete as not all central and local government data is captured, and/or available, and the two datasets are not held in the same format. The list is therefore indicative rather than definitive.

    Intellectual Property Rights

The dataset includes address data processed against Ordnance Survey’s AddressBase Premium product and incorporates Royal Mail’s PAF® database (Address Data). Royal Mail and Ordnance Survey permit your use of Address Data:

    • for personal and/or non-commercial use
    • in relation to the analysis of public sector land and property.

If you want to use the Address Data in any other way, you must contact Royal Mail. Email

    Description

The Florida TIITF Land Records Spatial Index is a document based GIS layer to be displayed as a map comprised of polygons and attributes representing parcels described in deeds, leases, easements and other instruments archived in the Title Archives of the Division of State Lands, Department of Environmental Protection for the Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund (TIITF). The polygons represent parcels described in the archived TIITF land record documents; this is not a tax map or a representation of current ownership. The data includes acquisitions, dispositions and encumbrances. Selecting a parcel on the map may return information about several different documents associated with that parcel through out the history of State land transactions involving that parcel.

    Description

This spatial dataset comprises polygons that represent property parcels within the City of Niagara Falls. Although this layer closely follows Tax Roll parcels, there may be some instances where the ownership parcel's geometry to the PIN is used. The parcel layer is regularly updated using various sources, including Certificate of Consent documents from the CNF Committee of Adjustment, Registered Plans (of Subdivision or Condominium), Agreements of a Registered development (Subdivision or Condominium), Registered Deeds, Registered Reference Plans, and MPAC SCIF reports. To verify legal descriptions and ownership, PIN Details and maps from the Land Registry Office are also referenced, as needed. The original version of this product, a hybrid property dataset provided by the Region, was created using Ontario Base Mapping hard copy base (likely North American Datum of 1927 (NAD27) UTM 17) and would have been checked for quality using Ortho imagery available at the time. This information has been compiled from numerous sources and standards over the years, so spatial inaccuracies are to be expected. It's important to note that this layer is strictly intended for mapping and reference purposes, and should not be used to define the boundaries of individual parcels of land for legal purposes. Attribute details contain the primary address for the parcel and are not reflective of all valid addresses in the City of Niagara Falls for individual parcels.

    Description

This dataset is refreshed on a weekly basis from the datasets the team works on daily.Last update date: 20 November 2025.National Highways Operational Highway Boundary (RedLine) maps out the land belonging to the highway for the whole Strategic Road Network (SRN). It comprises two layers; one being the an outline and another showing the registration status / category of land of land that makes up the boundary. Due to the process involved in creating junctions with local highway authority (LHA) roads, land in this dataset may represent LHA highway (owned by National Highways but the responsibility of the LHA to maintain). Surplus land or land held for future projects does not form part of this dataset. The highway boundary is derived from:Ordnance Survey Mastermap Topography,HM Land Registry National Polygon Service (National Highway titles only), andplots researched and digitised during the course of the RedLine Boundary Project. The boundary is split into categories describing the decisions made for particular plots of land. These categories are as follows:Auto-RedLine category is for plots created from an automated process using Ordnance Survey MasterMap Topography as a base. Land is not registered under National Highways' name. For example, but not limited to, unregistered ‘ancient’ highway vested in Highways England, or bridge carrying highways over a rail line.NH Title within RedLine category is for plots created from Land Registry Cadastral parcels whose proprietor is National Highways or a predecessor. Land in this category is within the highway boundary (audited) or meets a certain threshold by the algorithm.NH Title outside RedLine category is for plots created in the same way as above but these areas are thought to be outside the highway boundary. Where the Confidence is Low, land in this category is yet to be audited. Where the Confidence is High, land in this category has been reviewed and audited as outside our operational boundary.National Highways (Technician) Data category is for plots created by National Highways, digitised land parcels relating to highway land that is not registered, not yet registered or un-registerable.Road in Tunnel category, created using tunnel outlines from Ordnance Survey MasterMap Topography data. These represent tunnels on Highways England’s network. Land is not registered under National Highways' name, but land above the tunnel may be in National Highways’ title. Please refer to the definitive land ownership records held at HM Land Registry. The process attribute details how the decision was made for the particular plot of land. These are as follows:Automated category denotes data produced by an automated process. These areas are yet to be audited by the company.Audited category denotes data that has been audited by the company.Technician Data (Awaiting Audit) category denotes data that was created by National Highways but is yet to be audited and confirmed as final. The confidence attribute details how confident you can be in the decision. This attribute is derived from both the decisions made during the building of the underlying automated dataset as well as whether the section has been researched and/or audited by National Highways staff. These are as follows:High category denotes land that has a high probability of being within the RedLine boundary. These areas typically are audited or are features that are close to or on the highway.Moderate category denotes land that is likely to be within the highway boundary but is subject to change once the area has been audited.Low category denotes land that is less likely to be within the highway boundary. These plots typically represent Highways England registered land that the automated process has marked as outside the highway boundary. Please note that this dataset is indicative only. For queries about this dataset please contact the GIS and Research Team.

    Description

    Content TitleLot Boundaries
    Content TypeHosted Feature Layer
DescriptionNSW Land Parcel and Property Theme MultiCRS - Lot is a polygon feature that defines a parcel of land created on a survey plan. Parcel polygons are defined by a series of boundary lines that store recorded dimensions as attributes in the lines table. It visualises these boundaries of land parcels, often buildings on land, the parcel identifier, and basic topographic features.

NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme provides the foundation fabric of land ownership. It consists of the digital cadastral database and associated parcel and property information.

NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Lot is made up of the following features within the NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme.

    Cadastral Fabric – Lot

Lot - Depicts a parcel of land created on a survey plan. Each lot may be represented by standard lots, standard part lots, strata or stratum. Each lot has a lot number, section number, plan lot area, plan number, plan label, Integrated Titling System (ITS) title status, and stratum label.

Land and property data underpins the economic, social and environmental fabric of NSW and is used, amongst other things, to:
    • Secure tenure for access to capital
    • Define allowable use of land
    • Manage native title, nature conservation, heritage, protection, defence, and disaster management
    • Improve infrastructure and property development planning
    • Inform water and carbon accounting programs
Spatial Services continuously updates the Land Parcel and Property theme with information sourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. The majority of updates to the datasets in this theme originate from subdivision, registration and gazettal activity.

The data is up to date to within 10 working days from when a plan is lodged at NSW Land Registry Services. Data is also sourced from Crown Lands, the Office of Environment and Heritage, the Aboriginal Land Council, Local Land Services, the Electoral Commission and NSW Trade and Investment.

The Cadastral upgrade program commenced in 2007 and is ongoing, improving the spatial accuracy of different feature classes. Upgrades are carried out in consultation with the relevant Local Government Authority and are further facilitated through the incorporation of data provided by external agencies. Upgrade positional accuracy varies across the state and generally ranges from less than 5m from true position in rural areas to less than 0.2m from true position in urban areas, dependent on the survey control available.

Data quality for both Cadastral Maintenance and Cadastral Upgrade activities are assured through specification compliance and data topology rules. The client delivery database is automatically updated each evening with the changes that occurred that day in the maintenance environment.

AccuracyThe dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. A program to upgrade the spatial location and accuracy of data is ongoing.

Output formatted extracts from ALKIS, property map with land parcel certificate Rhineland-Palatinate (RP33), output forms: analogue or print-prepared (PDF). In the property register, data of a factual and legal nature must be provided on all properties (lots and buildings), including data on the owners and hereditary builders of the plots. The property register consists in particular of the property map and the property description. The property map is the scaled down and leveled graphical representation of all in the official property cadastre information system (ALKIS®) managed properties. The presentation of the property map on a scale of 1: 1 000 is an official property map and a graphical basis for the official list of plots of land within the meaning of Paragraph 2(2) of the Land Registry Code. The product RP33 - Property map with parcel identification is a combination product of RP31 and RP21 for a parcel. The product RP21 - Land parcel certificate contains all land parcel information as well as public-law determinations including soil estimation, evaluation and information on the land parcel. The product RP31 - Property map shows the graphic representation of the plot on the selected scale (free scale). Description

This dataset is designed to represent and identify the property boundaries in Lexington-Fayette County. The original dataset was created in late 1990's by a third party that converted existing paper maps to digital GIS files. The data has since been updated by georeferencing recorded plats for corrections and new additions. In cases where the plats do not appear accurate, aerial photos are utilized in attempt to properly locate the property lines. The only except for this process are changes to highway right-of-way in which calls are run from deeds. The geometry of this data is not of survey quality and should not be used for survey purposes. The data is intended for general reference purposes only.As part of the basemap data layers, the parcel boundary map layer is an integral part of the Lexington Fayette-Urban County Government Geographic Information System. Basemap data layers are accessed by personnel in most LFUCG divisions for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production. More advanced user applications may focus on thematic mapping, summarization of data by geography, or planning purposes (including defining boundaries, managing assets and facilities, integrating attribute databases with geographic features, spatial analysis, and presentation output).

🇦🇺 Australia English Content TitleProperty and AddressesContent TypeHosted Feature LayerDescriptionNSW Land Parcel Property Theme MultiCRS is a polygon dataset that represents areas of land with defined boundaries, under unique ownership for specific property rights or interests. This service supports requests in multiple coordinate reference systems.A land parcel is an area of land with defined boundaries, under unique ownership for specific property rights or interests.A property is something that is capable of being owned, in the form of real property (land). The interest can involve physical aspects, such as the use of land, or conceptual rights, such as a right to use the land in the future. The NSW cadastre is an up-to-date parcel-based land information system which contains a unique identifier which can be linked of interests in land (i.e. rights, restrictions and responsibilities). The cadastre includes a geometric definition of land parcels linked to other records, such as land titles, describing the nature of the interests, the ownership or control of those interests, and often the value of the parcel and its improvements.A cadastral product or service visualises the boundaries of land parcels, often buildings on land, the parcel identifier, and basic topographic features. The land parcel and property theme provide the foundation fabric of land ownership. It consists of the digital cadastral database and associated parcel and property information.Property - Property data is a polygon feature class that spatially represents an aspatial property description as provided by Property NSW in their Valnet database.Properties are divided into three categories:Property (complete)IncompleteOtherLand and property data underpins the economic, social and fabric environment of Australia and is used, amongst other things, to:secure tenure for access to capitaldefine allowable use of landmanage native title, nature conservation, heritage protection, defence, and disaster managementimprove infrastructure and property development planningwater and carbon accounting programs. The Spatial Services digital cadastral data maintenance program captures all changes to the statewide cadastral fabric from new survey plans and a variety of other sources. The cadastral data upgrade program is improving the spatial accuracy of the cadastral fabric by using survey dimensions and improved survey control. Upgrades are carried out together with the relevant Local Government Authority and are further facilitated through the incorporation of data provided by Local Government Authorities, Hunter Water and Sydney Water.Upgrade positional accuracy varies across the state and generally ranges from less than 5m from true position in rural areas to less than 0.2m from true position in urban areas, dependent on the survey control available.Data quality in both Cadastral Maintenance and Cadastral Upgrade is assured through specification compliance and datatopology rules.Spatial Services is currently undertaking a cadastral supply chain digital transformation initiative thorough the Cadastre NSW Program.Spatial Services continuously updates this theme with information sourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. Most updates to the datasets in this theme originate from subdivision, registration and gazettal activity.Spatial Services works with Local and State Government to upgrade the accuracy of Spatial Services Defined Administrative Data Sets.Initial Publication Date05/02/2020Data Currency01/01/3000Data Update FrequencyDailyContent SourceData provider filesFile TypeESRI File Geodatabase (*.gdb)Attribution© State of New South Wales (Spatial Services, a business unit of the Department of Customer Service NSW). Description

Only active parcels are included in this dataset. This layer shows the latest parcel boundaries and owner information recorded in the city's property records. Since some parcels have more than one owner (like condos), this dataset connects each parcel shape (GPIN) to all its owners (PIN).Neighborhood Development Services (NDS) assigns zoning and addresses, then shares this information with the City Assessor's Office to be added to the property records system (CAMA).This file is not a legal document for any parcel. Any mistakes or missing information can be directed to the Assessor's Office to have them corrected.
