    What is Land Parcel Data?

Land parcel data refers to a collection of spatially referenced information about individual land parcels or lots within a specified area. It includes attributes such as parcel ID, owner information, legal descriptions, acreage, zoning classifications, tax assessments, and geographic coordinates. This data is typically sourced from government agencies, cadastral surveys, and private entities, then compiled and organized into a structured dataset suitable for analysis and visualization.

    Land Parcel Data Details:

    • 157 Million nationwide parcel records and geometries
    • Approximately 100 attributes (standard schema)
    • Tax assessment fields
    • Universal parcel ID
    • Monthly rolling updates
    • Standardized land use codes
    • USPS validated address data with residential property & vacancy indicators
    • Building counts & footprint square footage attributes
    • Right-of-way (ROW) parcel indicator
    • Placekey - Location identifier
    • Flood zones and school districts

    Description

The Canadian County Parcel Data Public View is a set of geospatial features representing the surface ownership of property in fee simple for property tax purposes as required by 68 O.S. § 2821 and other related data used to produce the parcels such as subdivision boundaries and subdivision lots. The data is created from source documentation filed with the Canadian County Clerk's Office including deeds, easements, and plats. Other data sources such as filed Certified Corner Records filed with the State of Oklahoma or highway plans produced by the Department of Transportation may be used to adjust parcel boundaries. Single legal descriptions may be split up into two or more parcels if the description crosses the boundaries of multiple taxing jurisdictions or crosses quarter section boundaries. Accuracy of parcel data can vary considerably due to a combination of factors. Most parcels and subdivision legal descriptions reference a quarter section or quarter section corner. The accuracy of the quarter section corners is discussed with Canadian County's Public Land Survey System Data. Accuracy is further enhanced or degraded by the quality of the legal description used to create the feature. Generally, legal descriptions created from surveys will have higher accuracy the newer they were created due to improvements in the field of surveying. However, it can be difficult to determine the age of a legal description as descriptions are generally reused on subsequent deeds after the description was first created. Legal descriptions can occasionally contain updated bearings and distances and may denote the updates. The Assessor's Office uses the latest available legal description for creating parcels. Legal descriptions may lack specificity such as the use of "North" instead of a measured bearing or have missing parameters such as missing bearings for curved boundaries. In these cases, parcel data accuracy can be degraded. Further, if a legal description contains a specific landmark or boundary, sometimes called a "bound", the boundary is drawn to that point or landmark regardless of whether the bearing and/or distance accurately arrive at that point. For instance, if a legal description reads "...to the south line of the southeast quarter", the boundary is drawn to the south line of the quarter section even if the bearing and distance are short of or extend beyond that point. Because parcel data must be created for the entire county regardless of the accuracy of the descriptions used to create those parcels, parcels may need to be "stretched" or "squeezed" to make them fit together. When possible, the Assessor's Office relies on the most accurate legal descriptions to set the boundaries and then fits older boundaries to them. Due to the large number of variables, parcel data accuracy cannot be guaranteed nor can the level of accuracy be described for the entire dataset. While Canadian County makes every reasonable effort to make sure parcel data is accurate, this data cannot be used in place of a survey performed by an Oklahoma Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.ParcelDataExternal - Polygons representing surface fee simple title. Description

The National Water Quality Network (NWQN) for Rivers and Streams includes 113 surface-water river and stream sites monitored by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Water Quality Program (NWQP). The NWQN represents the consolidation of four historical national networks: the USGS National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Project, the USGS National Stream Quality Accounting Network (NASQAN), the National Monitoring Network (NMN), and the Hydrologic Benchmark Network (HBN). The NWQN includes 22 large river coastal sites, 41 large river inland sites, 30 wadeable stream reference sites, 10 wadeable stream urban sites, and 10 wadeable stream agricultural sites. In addition to the 113 NWQN sites, 3 large inland river monitoring sites from the USGS Cooperative Matching Funds (Co-op) program are also included in this annual water-quality reporting Web site to be consistent with previous USGS studies of nutrient transport in the Mississippi-Atchafalaya River Basin. This data release contains geo-referenced digital data and associated attributes of watershed boundaries for 113 NWQN and 3 Co-op sites. Two sites, "Wax Lake Outlet at Calumet, LA"; 07381590, and "Lower Atchafalaya River at Morgan City, LA"; 07381600, are outflow distributaries into the Gulf of Mexico. Watershed boundaries were delineated for the portion of the watersheds between "Red River near Alexandria, LA"; 07355500 and "Atchafalaya River at Melville, LA"; 07381495 to the two distributary sites respectively. Drainage area was undetermined for these two distributary sites because the main stream channel outflows into many smaller channels so that streamflow is no longer relative to the watershed area. NWQN watershed boundaries were derived from the Watershed Boundary Dataset-12-digit hydrologic units (WBD-12). The development of the WBD-12 was a coordinated effort between the United States Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS), the USGS, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (U.S. Department of Agriculture-Natural Resources Conservation Service, 2012). A hydrologic unit is a drainage area delineated to nest in a multi-level, hierarchical drainage system. Its boundaries are defined by hydrographic and topographic criteria that delineate an area of land upstream from a specific point on a river, stream or similar surface waters. The United States is divided and sub-divided into successively smaller hydrologic units identified by a unique hydrologic unit code (HUC) consisting of two to 12 digits based on the six levels of classification in the hydrologic unit system: regions, sub-regions, accounting units, cataloging units, watersheds, and sub-watersheds. NWQN watershed boundaries were delineated by selecting all sub-watershed polygons that flow into the most downstream WBD-12 polygon in which the NWQN site is located. The WBD-12 attribute table contains 8-digit, 10-digit, and 12-digit HUCs which were used to identify which sub-watersheds flow into the watershed pour point at the NWQN site location. When the NWQN site was located above the pour point of the most downstream sub-watershed, the sub-watershed was edited to make the NWQN site the pour point of that sub-watershed. To aid editing, USGS 1:24,000 digital topographic maps were used to determine the hydrologic divide from the sub-watershed boundary to the NWQN pour point. The number of sub-watersheds which are contained within the NWQN watersheds ranged from less than one to nearly 32,000 internal sub-watersheds. Internal sub-watershed boundaries were dissolved so that a single watershed boundary was generated for each NWQN watershed. Data from this release are presented at the USGS Tracking Water Quality page: http://cida.usgs.gov/quality/rivers/home (Deacon and others, 2015). Watershed boundaries delineated for this release do not take into account non-contributing area, diversions out of the watershed, or return flows into the watershed. Delineations are based solely on contributing WBD-12 polygons with modifications done only to the watershed boundary at the NWQN site location pour point. For this reason calculated drainage areas for these delineated watersheds may not match National Water Information System (MWIS) published drainage areas (http://dx.doi.org/10.5066/F7P55KJN). Description

*** THIS DATA IS A SNAPSHOT AS AT 31ST MARCH 2025 *** The Register provides information on the availability of surplus land for those government departments and their sponsored bodies which fall under the responsibility of English Ministers. The Register is also used on a voluntary basis by NHS trusts and Welsh Government. The land records are presented as points data. This dataset does not include the land parcel boundaries. The Register helps to ensure that wider Government objectives, including housing needs are factored into land disposal decisions. Through the Register, the disposing body provides details of the site and there is a window of 40 working days during which certain public sector bodies can identify new uses for the land.

The dataset available on data.gov.uk covers all sites that are outside the 40 working day ‘window’. Such sites may be included in the disposal strategies that have been published by a number of individual government departments. In addition, these sites may now be ‘on the market’ and being actively marketed. The ‘Register of Public Sector Land’ dataset provides details of any sites that are being disposed of through the Register of Surplus Public Sector Land and are outside the 40 working day ‘window’ Certain properties may have more than one entry in the data extract as government has more than one ‘interest’ in that property. Again, the extract provides information about the ‘owning’ government department and the ‘property centre’, i.e. that part of the government department responsible for that property. In addition, it has a property reference (the ‘ePIMS Property Ref’) that allows it to be linked to the other data extracts.

The scope of the data includes land and property information for those government departments, together with any arms’ length bodies for which they are responsible, including their non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs), which fall under the responsibility of English Ministers. These assets are primarily located in England, but are also located in the devolved administrations of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as overseas. Also, some Local Authorities have chosen to publish their property data as part of our transparency exercise. The Register helps to ensure that wider Government objectives, including housing needs are factored into land disposal decisions. Description

A list of central and local government land in England, which may not be registered with HM Land Registry (HMLR).

HMLR has created this dataset for the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) by combining HMLR freehold polygon data with the public sector ownership data currently openly available from the Office of Government Property.

The dataset is not definitive or complete as not all central and local government data is captured, and/or available, and the two datasets are not held in the same format. The list is therefore indicative rather than definitive.

    Intellectual Property Rights

The dataset includes address data processed against Ordnance Survey’s AddressBase Premium product and incorporates Royal Mail’s PAF® database (Address Data). Royal Mail and Ordnance Survey permit your use of Address Data:

    • for personal and/or non-commercial use
    • in relation to the analysis of public sector land and property.

    Description

Download In State Plane Projection Here ** In addition to the Tax Parcel polygons feature class, the hyperlink download above also contains a parcel point data layer ** Parcel boundaries are developed from deeds, plats of subdivision and other legal documents going back to the mid 1800's, following generally accepted practices used in Public Land Survey System states, and following guidelines established by the Illinois Department of Revenue and the International Association of Assessment Officials. Lake County's parcel coverage is based on resolving the accumulated evidence of all of the legal documents surrounding a particular parcel or subdivision, and not the result of a countywide resurvey. These parcel boundaries are intended to be a visual inventory of property for tax and other administrative purposes; they are not intended to be used in place of an on-site survey or for the precise determination of property corners or PLSS features based on GIS coordinates. In Illinois, only a registered professional land surveyor is authorized to determine boundary locations. Included are the tax parcel boundaries, represented as polygons and centroids, for all changes resulting from legal records submitted to the Recorder of Deeds up to December 31st of the preceding year, as well as any court orders, municipal annexations and other transactions which impact the tax parcel boundaries. NOTE: The ONLY attribute included is the Property Index Number, or PARCEL_NUM. Additional assessment attribute data can be downloaded here This parcel layer is used for tax assessment purposes and for a variety of other local government functions. It changes often, both spatially and in its attribution, based on divisions or consolidations, the sale of property and other transactions. Example: PIN 08-17-304-014 can be interpreted as follows: Township 08, Section 17, Block 304, Parcel 014. Note that the first digit of block, "3" in this example, signifies that the parcel lies in quarter section 3. The quarter sections are labeled from 1 through 4, representing the northwest, northeast, southwest and southeast quarter sections, respectively. Update Frequency: This dataset is updated on a weekly basis.

    Description

This dataset is refreshed on a weekly basis from the datasets the team works on daily.Last update date: 20 November 2025.National Highways Operational Highway Boundary (RedLine) maps out the land belonging to the highway for the whole Strategic Road Network (SRN). It comprises two layers; one being the an outline and another showing the registration status / category of land of land that makes up the boundary. Due to the process involved in creating junctions with local highway authority (LHA) roads, land in this dataset may represent LHA highway (owned by National Highways but the responsibility of the LHA to maintain). Surplus land or land held for future projects does not form part of this dataset. The highway boundary is derived from:Ordnance Survey Mastermap Topography,HM Land Registry National Polygon Service (National Highway titles only), andplots researched and digitised during the course of the RedLine Boundary Project. The boundary is split into categories describing the decisions made for particular plots of land. These categories are as follows:Auto-RedLine category is for plots created from an automated process using Ordnance Survey MasterMap Topography as a base. Land is not registered under National Highways' name. For example, but not limited to, unregistered ‘ancient’ highway vested in Highways England, or bridge carrying highways over a rail line.NH Title within RedLine category is for plots created from Land Registry Cadastral parcels whose proprietor is National Highways or a predecessor. Land in this category is within the highway boundary (audited) or meets a certain threshold by the algorithm.NH Title outside RedLine category is for plots created in the same way as above but these areas are thought to be outside the highway boundary. Where the Confidence is Low, land in this category is yet to be audited. Where the Confidence is High, land in this category has been reviewed and audited as outside our operational boundary.National Highways (Technician) Data category is for plots created by National Highways, digitised land parcels relating to highway land that is not registered, not yet registered or un-registerable.Road in Tunnel category, created using tunnel outlines from Ordnance Survey MasterMap Topography data. These represent tunnels on Highways England’s network. Land is not registered under National Highways' name, but land above the tunnel may be in National Highways’ title. Please refer to the definitive land ownership records held at HM Land Registry. The process attribute details how the decision was made for the particular plot of land. These are as follows:Automated category denotes data produced by an automated process. These areas are yet to be audited by the company.Audited category denotes data that has been audited by the company.Technician Data (Awaiting Audit) category denotes data that was created by National Highways but is yet to be audited and confirmed as final. The confidence attribute details how confident you can be in the decision. This attribute is derived from both the decisions made during the building of the underlying automated dataset as well as whether the section has been researched and/or audited by National Highways staff. These are as follows:High category denotes land that has a high probability of being within the RedLine boundary. These areas typically are audited or are features that are close to or on the highway.Moderate category denotes land that is likely to be within the highway boundary but is subject to change once the area has been audited.Low category denotes land that is less likely to be within the highway boundary. These plots typically represent Highways England registered land that the automated process has marked as outside the highway boundary. Please note that this dataset is indicative only. This web service depicts the location and quantity of all lands zoned for residential or primarily residential purposes in statutory local authority development plans and local area plans across Ireland. The then Department of Environment, Community and Local Government, in conjunction with Local Authority Planning Departments, carried out a national survey of all lands zoned for residential or primarily residential purposes in statutory local authority development plans and local area plans across Ireland in order to determine the location and quantity of lands that may be regarded as being undeveloped and available for residential development as of the 31st March 2014. The project was undertaken in two stages. Stage 1: Local Authorities identified the total level of undeveloped lands that were residentially zoned as of the 31st of March 2014, regardless of the sequence of the development of those lands or phasing under local authority development plan core strategies. Stage 2: Local Authorities identified from the parcels of land identified in Stage 1 those lands which were potentially available for development in relation to the order or priority or phasing indicated under the relevant Development or Local Area Plan period. Essentially, the difference between stage 1 and stage 2 is that stage 1 totalled all undeveloped lands zoned for residential development, while stage 2 broke the stage 1 figures into the amount of land that could be developed under the phasing schedule of the relevant plans. This data is also available on the MyPlan map viewer at https://viewer.myplan.ie.Background and context to this data is in the Summary Report available here: https://www.housing.gov.ie/planning/residential-land-availability/residential-land-availability-survey-2014

    Description

Leeds City Council was selected as a pilot authority for the Government's brownfield land register project to help lead the way in bringing forward previously developed land for new homes. The Council worked with the Department for Communities and Local Government to help inform guidance on the operation of the brownfield registers. The registers will help house builders identify suitable sites quickly, speeding up the construction of new homes. The government has pledged to get planning permission in place on 90% of suitable brownfield sites for housing. To help achieve this goal, the government is to enable ‘permission in principle’ to be granted for housing-led development sites listed on new brownfield registers as part of the recent Housing and Planning Act 2016. The Council will have the final say on which sites are on the register and which sites will have permission in principle. When deciding on which sites to include in the register, the Council will consider the housing growth ambitions of the Core Strategy and Site Allocations Plan. As part of pilot project, the Council put together a register of suitable sites with a total capacity of over 30,000 new homes sourced from the Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment (SHLAA). The new formal requirement is for the register to be kept in two parts. The Council has produced a formal Part 1 register and the accompanying map of sites is published before the annual 31 December deadline, this will be reviewed at least once a year. The map of sites is hosted here . Part 2 allows the Council to select sites from Part 1 and grant Permission in Principle (PIP) for housing-led development, after undertaking necessary requirements for publicity, notification and consultation. Entry onto Part 1 of the register does not guarantee that this site will progress onto Part 2 of the register or receive planning permission. Preparatory work on Part 2 commenced in 2018 and will continue in early 2019. The Council is welcoming comments from the public on the sites included in the register and asking landowners to put forward sites for consideration in the future register. The sites must be previously developed and able to accommodate 5 or more dwellings or be at least 0.25 hectares in size. If you would like to submit a site to the next register that you think could be developed for housing, please send details of the location and availability of the site including an outline plan to brownfieldlandregister@leeds.gov.uk .

    Description

🇬🇧 United Kingdom English This table shows the average House Price/Earnings ratio, which is an important indicator of housing affordability. Ratios are calculated by dividing house price by the median earnings of a borough. The Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) is based on a 1 per cent sample of employee jobs. Information on earnings and hours is obtained in confidence from employers. It does not cover the self-employed nor does it cover employees not paid during the reference period. Information is as at April each year. The statistics used are workplace based full-time individual earnings. Pre-2013 Land Registry housing data are for the first half of the year only, so that they are comparable to the ASHE data which are as at April. This is no longer the case from 2013 onwards as this data uses house price data from the ONS House Price Statistics for Small Areas statistical release. Prior to 2006 data are not available for Inner and Outer London. The lowest 25 per cent of prices are below the lower quartile; the highest 75 per cent are above the lower quartile. The "lower quartile" property price/income is determined by ranking all property prices/incomes in ascending order. The 'median' property price/income is determined by ranking all property prices/incomes in ascending order. The point at which one half of the values are above and one half are below is the median. Regional data has not been published by DCLG since 2012. Data for regions has been calculated by the GLA. Data since 2014 has been calculated by the GLA using Land Registry house prices and ONS Earnings data. Link to DCLG Live Tables An interactive map showing the affordability ratios by local authority for 2013, 2014 and 2015 is also available.

    Description

Update information can be found within the layer’s attributes and in a table on the Utah Parcel Data webpage under LIR Parcels. In Spring of 2016, the Land Information Records work group, an informal committee organized by the Governor’s Office of Management and Budget’s State Planning Coordinator, produced recommendations for expanding the sharing of GIS-based parcel information. Participants in the LIR work group included representatives from county, regional, and state government, including the Utah Association of Counties (County Assessors and County Recorders), Wasatch Front Regional Council, Mountainland and Bear River AOGs, Utah League of Cities and Towns, UDOT, DNR, AGRC, the Division of Emergency Management, Blue Stakes, economic developers, and academic researchers. The LIR work group’s recommendations set the stage for voluntary sharing of additional objective/quantitative parcel GIS data, primarily around tax assessment-related information. Specifically the recommendations document establishes objectives, principles (including the role of local and state government), data content items, expected users, and a general process for data aggregation and publishing. An important realization made by the group was that ‘parcel data’ or ‘parcel record’ products have a different meaning to different users and data stewards. The LIR group focused, specifically, on defining a data sharing recommendation around a tax year parcel GIS data product, aligned with the finalization of the property tax roll by County Assessors on May 22nd of each year. The LIR recommendations do not impact the periodic sharing of basic parcel GIS data (boundary, ID, address) from the County Recorders to AGRC per 63F-1-506 (3.b.vi). Both the tax year parcel and the basic parcel GIS layers are designed for general purpose uses, and are not substitutes for researching and obtaining the most current, legal land records information on file in County records. This document, below, proposes a schedule, guidelines, and process for assembling county parcel and assessment data into an annual, statewide tax parcel GIS layer. gis.utah.gov/data/sgid-cadastre/ It is hoped that this new expanded parcel GIS layer will be put to immediate use supporting the best possible outcomes in public safety, economic development, transportation, planning, and the provision of public services. Another aim of the work group was to improve the usability of the data, through development of content guidelines and consistent metadata documentation, and the efficiency with which the data sharing is distributed.GIS Layer Boundary Geometry:GIS Format Data Files: Ideally, Tax Year Parcel data should be provided in a shapefile (please include the .shp, .shx, .dbf, .prj, and .xml component files) or file geodatabase format. An empty shapefile and file geodatabase schema are available for download at:At the request of a county, AGRC will provide technical assistance to counties to extract, transform, and load parcel and assessment information into the GIS layer format.Geographic Coverage: Tax year parcel polygons should cover the area of each county for which assessment information is created and digital parcels are available. Full coverage may not be available yet for each county. The county may provide parcels that have been adjusted to remove gaps and overlaps for administrative tax purposes or parcels that retain these expected discrepancies that take their source from the legally described boundary or the process of digital conversion. The diversity of topological approaches will be noted in the metadata. One Tax Parcel Record Per Unique Tax Notice: Some counties produce an annual tax year parcel GIS layer with one parcel polygon per tax notice. In some cases, adjacent parcel polygons that compose a single taxed property must be merged into a single polygon. This is the goal for the statewide layer but may not be possible in all counties. AGRC will provide technical support to counties, where needed, to merge GIS parcel boundaries into the best format to match with the annual assessment information.Standard Coordinate System: Parcels will be loaded into Utah’s statewide coordinate system, Universal Transverse Mercator coordinates (NAD83, Zone 12 North). However, boundaries stored in other industry standard coordinate systems will be accepted if they are both defined within the data file(s) and documented in the metadata (see below).Descriptive Attributes:Database Field/Column Definitions: The table below indicates the field names and definitions for attributes requested for each Tax Parcel Polygon record.FIELD NAME FIELD TYPE LENGTH DESCRIPTION EXAMPLE SHAPE (expected) Geometry n/a The boundary of an individual parcel or merged parcels that corresponds with a single county tax notice ex. polygon boundary in UTM NAD83 Zone 12 N or other industry standard coordinates including state plane systemsCOUNTY_NAME Text 20 - County name including spaces ex. Description

The CDFW Owned and Operated Lands and Conservation Easements dataset is a subset of the CDFW Lands dataset. It contains lands owned (fee title), some operated (wildlife areas, ecological reserves, and public/fishing access properties that are leases/agreements with other agencies that may be publicly accessible) and conservation easements held by CDFW. CDFW Owned and Operated Lands and Conservation Easements replaces the prior dataset, DFG Owned and Operated Lands, which included only fee title lands and some operated lands (wildlife areas, ecological reserves, and public/fishing access properties that are leases/agreements with other agencies and that may be publicly accessible). This is a generalized version dataset that has a shorter attribute table than the original and also has been dissolved based on the fields included. Please note that some lands may not be accessible due to the protection of resources and habitat. It is recommended that users contact the appropriate regional office for access information and consult regulations for CDFW lands in Sections 550, 550.1, 551, 552, 630 and 702. The CDFW Lands dataset is a digitized geographical inventory of selected lands owned and/or administered by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Properties such as ecological reserves, wildlife areas, undesignated lands containing biological resource values, public and fishing access lands, and CDFW fish hatcheries are among those lands included in this inventory. Types of properties owned or administered by CDFW which may not be included in this dataset are parcels less than 1 acre in size, such as fishing piers, fish spawning grounds, fish barriers, and other minor parcels. Physical boundaries of individual parcels are determined by the descriptions contained in legal documents and assessor parcel maps relating to that parcel. The approximate parcel boundaries are drawn onto U.S. Geological Survey 7.5'-series topographic maps, then digitized and attributed before being added to the dataset. In some cases, assessor parcel or best available datasets are used to digitize the boundary. Using parcel data to adjust the boundaries is a work in progress and will be incorporated in the future. Township, range, and section lines were based on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5' series topographic maps (1:24,000 - scale). In some areas, the boundaries will not align with the Bureau of Land Management's Public Lands Survey System (PLSS). See the "SOURCE" field for data used to digitize boundary.

This dataset is intended to provide information on the location of lands owned and/or administered by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) and for general conservation planning within the state. This dataset is not intended for navigational use. Users should contact the CDFW, Wildlife Branch, Lands Program or CDFW Regional offices for access information to a particular property. These datasets do not provide legal determination of parcel acreages or boundaries. Legal parcel acreages are based on County Assessor records. Users should contact the Wildlife Branch, Lands Program for this information and related data. When labeling or displaying properties on any map, use the provided field named "MAPLABEL" or use a generic label such as "conservation lands", "restricted lands", or some other similiar generalized label. All conservation easements are closed to public access.

This dataset is not a surveyed product and is not a legal record of original survey measurements. They are representations or reproductions of information using various sources, scales, and precision of boundary data. As such, the data do not carry legal authority to determine a boundary, the location of fixed works nor is it suitable for navigational purposes. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife shall not be held liable for any use or misuse of the data. Users are responsible for ensuring the appropriate use of the data . It is strongly recommended that users acquire this dataset directly from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife and not indirectly through other sources which may have outdated or misinterpreted information.

    Description

This layer provides the latest bearing (direction) and/or distance for cadastral boundaries.

When a cadastral survey is undertaken the relationship between boundary and non-boundary marks is ascertained or measured. • This commonly is in the form or a vector (bearing and distance), but occasionally just one component. • Some relationships are defined as arcs. In this data layer, the arc length is recorded in the distance field and a separate record holds the chord.

Only observations that have been captured in Landonline are available. This includes vectors that were re-captured in the Survey Capture Areas from survey plans lodged prior to Landonline and all survey observations since.
