    Price Paid Data is released under the http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/doc/open-government-licence/version/3/" class="govuk-link">Open Government Licence (OGL). You need to make sure you understand the terms of the OGL before using the data.

    Under the OGL, HM Land Registry permits you to use the Price Paid Data for commercial or non-commercial purposes. However, OGL does not cover the use of third party rights, which we are not authorised to license.

    Price Paid Data contains address data processed against Ordnance Survey’s AddressBase Premium product, which incorporates Royal Mail’s PAF® database (Address Data). Royal Mail and Ordnance Survey permit your use of Address Data in the Price Paid Data:

    • for personal and/or non-commercial use
    • to display for the purpose of providing residential property price information services

    If you want to use the Address Data in any other way, you must contact Royal Mail. Email address.management@royalmail.com.

    The following fields comprise the address data included in Price Paid Data:

    • Postcode
    • PAON Primary Addressable Object Name (typically the house number or name)
    • SAON Secondary Addressable Object Name – if there is a sub-building, for example, the building is divided into flats, there will be a SAON
    • Street
    • Locality
    • Town/City
    • District
    • County

    January 2025 data (current month)

    The January 2025 release includes:

    • the first release of data for January 2025 (transactions received from the first to the last day of the month)
    • updates to earlier data releases
    • Standard Price Paid Data (SPPD) and Additional Price Paid Data (APPD) transactions

    As we will be adding to the January data in future releases, we would not recommend using it in isolation as an indication of market or HM Land Registry activity. When the full dataset is viewed alongside the data we’ve previously published, it adds to the overall picture of market activity.

    Your use of Price Paid Data is governed by conditions and by downloading the data you are agreeing to those conditions.

    The figures of existing own homes are related to the stock of existing own homes. Besides the price indices, figures are also published about the numbers sold, the average purchase price, and the total sum of the purchase prices of the sold dwellings. The House Price Index of existing own homes is based on a complete registration of sales of dwellings by the Dutch Land Registry Office (Kadaster) and the (WOZ) value of all dwellings in the Netherlands. Indices may fluctuate, for example if a small number of dwellings are sold in a certain region. In such cases we recommended using the long-term figures. The average purchase price of existing own homes may differ from the price index of existing own homes. The change in the average purchase price, however, is not an indicator for price developments of existing own homes.

    Status of the figures: The figures in this table are immediately definitive. The calculation of these figures is based on the number of notary transactions that are registered every month by the Dutch Land Registry Office (Kadaster). A revision of the figures is exceptional and occurs specifically if an error significantly exceeds the acceptable statistical margins. The numbers of existing owner-occupied sold homes can be recalculated by Kadaster at a later date. These figures are usually the same as the publication on Statline, but in some periods they differ. Kadaster calculates the average purchasing prices based on the most recent data. These may have changed since the first publication. Statistics Netherlands uses figures from the first publication in accordance with the revision policy described above.

    Changes as of 28 January 2025: The figures for the 4th quarter and the year 2024 have been changed and become final.

    Changes as of 22 January 2025: Figures for reporting period 4th quarter and the year 2024 are added. The figures of the Price Index for Existing own homes are in the current publication unfortunately provisional. The calculations are based on incomplete data. This may lead to an adjustment of the figures. The expectation is that this adjustment will be limited.

    When will new figures be published? New figures are published about 22 days after the period under review.

    England and Northern Ireland statistics are based on information submitted to the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) database by taxpayers on SDLT returns.

    Land and Buildings Transaction Tax (LBTT) replaced SDLT in Scotland from 1 April 2015 and this data is provided to HMRC by https://www.revenue.scot/" class="govuk-link">Revenue Scotland to continue the time series.

    Land Transaction Tax (LTT) replaced SDLT in Wales from 1 April 2018. To continue the time series, the https://gov.wales/welsh-revenue-authority" class="govuk-link">Welsh Revenue Authority (WRA) have provided HMRC with a monthly data feed of LTT transactions since July 2021.

    LTT figures for the latest month are estimated using a grossing factor based on data for the most recent and complete financial year. Until June 2021, LTT transactions for the latest month were estimated by HMRC based upon year on year growth in line with other UK nations.

    LTT transactions up to the penultimate month are aligned with LTT statistics.

    This dataset contains data on all Real Property parcels that have sold since 2013 in Allegheny County, PA.

    Before doing any market analysis on property sales, check the sales validation codes. Many property "sales" are not considered a valid representation of the true market value of the property. For example, when multiple lots are together on one deed with one price they are generally coded as invalid ("H") because the sale price for each parcel ID number indicates the total price paid for a group of parcels, not just for one parcel. See the Sales Validation Codes Dictionary for a complete explanation of valid and invalid sale codes.

    Sales Transactions Disclaimer: Sales information is provided from the Allegheny County Department of Administrative Services, Real Estate Division. Content and validation codes are subject to change. Please review the Data Dictionary for details on included fields before each use.     General UsagePublic users who enter the portal will land at the Parcel Search page by default. The four (4) buttons located on the top navigation bar are used to initiate searches for land parcel and tax information in the system. Note that Sales History is currently a premium feature of the Ascent Land Records Portal and be not be available every county. When the user hovers over a particular button with the mouse pointer, that button will change to the color red.If the user clicks the left mouse button while the button is red, the user will be navigated the specific search screen and will be able to enter search criteria and view the search results. A detailed explanation of each search is provided in the help topics that follow. An overview is provided below and each bullet provides a link to more detail.Parcel Search: Allows a user to locate a real estate tax parcel using one or more search criteria. A search will return the user zero or more candidate results that satisfy the search criteria. The user may then choose a specific real estate tax parcel in order to investigate it in more detail. Survey Search: A survey is an element in the Ascent Land Records System that is always related to one or more parcels. Any parcel created within the Ascent Land Records System must have an associated survey that describes what circumstances resulted in the parcel's creation.     Land Registry Price Paid Data (PPD) have been published as open data since 2013. These data have been transformative for house price variation research in the UK as they are a comprehensive record of residential transactions at address level and cover the whole of England and Wales over a period dating back to 1995. Despite the utility of these data, a lack of attribute information relating to the properties, such as total floor area information, is identified as one of the major shortcomings of the PPD data. This means that the impacts of stock mix on broader price patterns cannot be fully accounted for. This research outlines one approach which addresses this deficiency by combining transaction information from the official open Land Registry Price Paid Data (PPD) with property size information form the official open Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). A four-stage data linkage is created to generate a new linked dataset, representing 79% of the full market sales in the Land Registry PPD. This new linked dataset details 5,732,838 transactions in England and Wales between 2011 and 2019, along with each property's total floor area and the number of habitable rooms. Codes for other commonly used spatial units from Output Area to Local Authority are also included in the dataset. This offers greater flexibility for the exploration of house price variation in England and Wales at different spatial scales. The data collection includes the scripts used for linkage, as well as the resulting dataset.Current residential house price variation research in the UK is limited by lack of an open and comprehensive house price database that contains both transaction price alongside dwelling attributes such as size. This research outlines one approach which addresses this deficiency in England and Wales through combining transaction information from the official open Land Registry Price Paid Data (PPD) and property size information form the official open Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs). A four-stage data linkage is created to generate a new linked data, representing 79% of the full market sales in Land Registry PPD. This new linked dataset offers greater flexibility for the exploration of house price (house price per square metre) variation in England and Wales at different spatial scales over postcode unit between 2011 and 2019. The Land Registry Price Paid Data (PPD) dataset is open, available online (https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/price-paid-data-downloads). The Land Registry PPD records 24,852,949 transactions in England and Wales between 1/1/1995 and 31/10/2019. Domestic Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) dataset is open and available on-line from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government - MHCLG. Domestic EPC record a property’s energy performance and its building stock information, such as its total floor area and its number of habitable rooms. The current Domestic EPCs dataset is the third released version and contains certificates issued between 1/10/2008 and 31/8/2019, which records 18,575,357 energy performance data records with 84 fields. These two datasets both contain property information at address level but their address structures are different, thus a matching method containing a four-stage (251 matching rules) process was designed to achieve linkage between them.

    Description

    The price index for existing own dwellings (in Dutch PBK) aims to reflect the changes in prices of the sold existing own dwellings. The dwelling must be located on Dutch territory and sold to a private person. In addition, figures on the number of transactions, the average selling price, and the total value of the selling prices of the sold homes are also available. The price index figures for existing homes are based on a comprehensive registration of home sales transactions by the Kadaster and the WOZ values of all homes in the Netherlands. Index series can fluctuate. It is advisable to use the long-term trends of the price index figures. The average selling price may show a different trend than the price index for existing homes. The development of the average selling price is not an indicator of the price development of existing homes.

    Status of the figures: The figures in this table are immediately definitive. The calculation of these figures is based on the number of notary transactions that are registered every month by the Dutch Land Registry Office (Kadaster). A revision of the figures is exceptional and occurs specifically if an error significantly exceeds the acceptable statistical margins. The numbers of existing owner-occupied sold homes can be recalculated by Kadaster at a later date. These figures are usually the same as the publication on Statline, but in some periods they differ. Kadaster calculates the average purchasing prices based on the most recent data. These may have changed since the first publication. Statistics Netherlands uses figures from the first publication in accordance with the revision policy described above.

    A polygon depiction of property sales from 2010 to the present that occurred in Stark County, Ohio. The Stark County Auditor's Office (SCAO) maintains records of property sales using a Computer-Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) Database. This layer is a SQL view combining the sales records from the CAMA database with the Stark County parcel layer. A new view is created every morning through a combination of python scripts and SQL stored procedures. The data always reflects the most-recent information available from the previous day for both sources.

    This table shows the price developments of the stock of existing owner-occupied homes for COROP area. The number of transactions, the average sales price and the total value of the sales prices of the homes sold are also published. The price indices for existing owner-occupied homes are based on an integral registration of residential sales transactions by the Land Registry and WOZ values of all homes in the Netherlands. Index series can fluctuate, for example when the number of trades in a region is limited. It is then recommended to use the long-term developments of the price indices. The average sales price may show a different development than the price index for existing owner-occupied homes. The development of the average selling price is not an indicator for the price development of existing owner-occupied homes. The method used is equal to the method of the Price Index for Existing Owner-occupied Homes (PBK) with the exception of the weighting of dwelling types. At province level, the dwelling types are weighted by stock figures and then aggregated. At COROP-level, the dwelling types are not taken into account in the aggregation. The COROP areas Utrecht and Flevoland are equal to the eponymous provinces and are calculated according to the province procedure. For this reason, the confidence intervals for these areas have been omitted in the table.

    Status of the figures: The added figures for the 4th quarter of 2024 are provisional. The other figures are definitive. .

    Changes as of 22 January 2025: New figures for reporting period 4th quarter 2024 were added. The figures of the Price Index for Existing own homes are in the current publication unfortunately provisional. The calculations are based on incomplete data. This may lead to an adjustment of the figures. The expectation is that this adjustment will be limited.

    The Northland Regional Council Selected Land-use Register (SLR) is a list of selected land-use sites (SLU sites) that have been used for any activity included in the Ministry for the Environment’s Hazardous Activities and Industries List (HAIL).

    The HAIL is a compilation of activities and industries that have the potential to result in soil contamination.

    The SLR provides a history of land-use for any given property where a HAIL activity has been undertaken (whether current or historical) and not all sites recorded on the SLR are contaminated. The SLR is also not a comprehensive list of all sites that have a HAIL land-use history, it is a live record and therefore continually being updated.

    The SLR is currently under review as part of a national consistent data project. Site classifications will be updated and locations will be changing from points to polygons.

    The data is updated nightly to incorporate any changes or additions by staff and NRC welcomes dialogue with customers regarding information that we have or that they may have which will fill in any data gaps.

Price Paid Data contains address data processed against Ordnance Survey’s AddressBase Premium product, which incorporates Royal Mail’s PAF® database (Address Data). Royal Mail and Ordnance Survey permit your use of Address Data in the Price Paid Data:

  • to display for the purpose of providing residential property price information services

  • PAON Primary Addressable Object Name (typically the house number or name)
  • SAON Secondary Addressable Object Name – if there is a sub-building, for example, the building is divided into flats, there will be a SAON

January 2025 data (current month)

The January 2025 release includes:

  • the first release of data for January 2025 (transactions received from the first to the last day of the month)
  • updates to earlier data releases
  • Standard Price Paid Data (SPPD) and Additional Price Paid Data (APPD) transactions

As we will be adding to the January data in future releases, we would not recommend using it in isolation as an indication of market or HM Land Registry activity. When the full dataset is viewed alongside the data we’ve previously published, it adds to the overall picture of market activity.
