This polygon shapefile contains statistics on residency, location of employment, and other spoken languages from the 2007 Census of Population and Housing in El Salvador. The census information was collected by the Dirección General de Estadística y Censos in May of 2007. The original questionaire and other supporting documentation for this census is included with this download.

IPUMS-International is an effort to inventory, preserve, harmonize, and disseminate census microdata from around the world. The project has collected the world's largest archive of publicly available census samples. The data are coded and documented consistently across countries and over time to facilitate comparative research.
