Laramie County and the City of Cheyenne participated in the DFIRM study with FEMA and the results were published in 2007. A web mapping application that is designed to make our control networks more accessible to the public, without the need for the control monument book published by the city GIS office. The map features points representing the control points in and around the Cheyenne area. By clicking on these points in the map, you can access the name, coordinates, and elevation of that particular point, as well as download an image (.pdf) of that point's page from the map book. Street monuments are also shown with drawings (also .pdf's) and the point's intersection location accessible by clicking on them in the map.

This is a map service featuring the 2021 pick up zones for the City of Cheyenne Sanitation department's curbside pick up. It fetures trash, compost, and recycling information. It was created in APril of 2014 as a means of creating a webmapping application that will allow Cheyenne residents to figure out when thier sanitation pick-up days are scheduled.

The left frame of this map shows our storm water management system circa 1985, as well as the flooded areas from the flood of 1985 (which was roughly a 100 year event in most parts of Cheyenne).. The map data on the right side of the map is from our most recent data (2015) and shows our updated storm water management system as well as the our current 100 year flood areas.
