    Provides zoning boundaries used in the creation of the Official Zoning Atlas of Tallahassee and Leon County, Florida. For more information about this layer visit the TLCPD Website or call (850)-891-6400.Leon County Land Development Code - It is the policy of the county to permit development of land that is consistent with and in conformance with the goals, objectives, and policies established in the Comprehensive Plan through the use of this article. The official zoning map districts shall be consistent with the land uses as depicted on the adopted future land use plan map of the Comprehensive Plan.City of Tallahassee Land Development Code - It is the policy of the city to permit development of land that is consistent with and in conformance with the goals, objectives, and policies established in the 2010 Comprehensive Plan through the use of this chapter. The official zoning map districts shall be consistent with the land use designations as depicted on the adopted future land use plan map of the 2010 Comprehensive Plan.

    The Existing Land Use Map was developed by the Tallahassee-Leon County Planning Department in the 1970s and has been updated annually since 2005 to reflect changes in current land use.Existing land use is parcel based with each parcel assigned a single land use.
