Zoning and Land Use Controls Map The Zoning and Land Use Controls Map identifies the distinct zoning boundaries within the Ashland City Limits. To encourage the most appropriate and efficient use of lands and to accommodate orderly growth consistent with the Ashland Comprehensive Plan, the zoning designation of each parcel provides for the type of developments permitted. The Ashland Land Use Ordinance, Chapter 18, is the implementing document which outlines all permitted or conditional uses allowable within a given zone.

The East Point Planning & Community Development (EPCD) Planning Division utilizes a combination of Esri ArcGIS for Desktop and the geopoint application to provide citizens and other customers with current zoning and land use information throughout the city. The division manages and updates the city's geopoint application, which is a web-based map application that allows users to visually map out the current zoning designations in each zoning district and identify information about land use, buildings, and businesses. With the ability to view current zoning districts and easily navigate between maps and data, the planning division is able to provide current zoning and land use information to the public

The DC Office of Zoning (OZ) proudly announces an expansion of its online mapping services with the release of the DCOZ 3D Zoning Map. This new mapping application builds off existing DC Open Datasets and new OZ Zoning data to visualize the District in 3D, providing greater context for proposed development projects and helping enhance Board of Zoning Adjustment and Zoning Commission decisions throughout the District. The 3D Zoning Map was developed to enhance District resident’s understanding, knowledge, and participation in Zoning matters, and help increase transparency in the Zoning process.

The Georeferenced NYC Zoning Maps raster dataset is intended to be a spatial representation of the entire zoning map catalog for the City of New York as one seamless citywide raster zoning map sans title blocks. These maps are normally maintained as 126 individual quarter sections and printed periodically for inclusion in Vol III of the City's 2019 Zoning Resolution. This dataset encompasses recent changes to mapped zoning districts or zoning text amendments as they are adopted by the City Council as well as filed City Map changes. The State of California makes no warranties as to accuracy of this data.This zoning data was collected from 535 of California"s 539 jurisdictions. An effort was made to contact each jurisdiction in the state and request zoning data in whatever form available. In the event that zoning maps were not available in a GIS format, maps were converted from PDF or image maps using geo-referencing techniques and then transposing map information to parcel geometries sourced from county assessor data. Collection efforts began in late 2021 and were mostly finished in late 2022. Some data has been updated in 2023. Sources and dates are documented in the "Source" and "Date" columns with more detail available in the accompanying sources table.Individual zoning maps were combined for this statewide dataset. As part of the aggregation process, contiguous areas with identical zone codes, within jurisdictions, were merged or dissolved. Some features representing roads with right-of-way or Null zone designations were removed from this data. Features less than 4 square meters in area were also removed.

The zoning boundary data layer is an integral part of the planning data in the Lexington-Fayette-Urban County Government Geographic Information System. This information is used by the Division of Planning in case review, enforcement, and long range planning.
