    This Zoning feature class is an element of the Oregon GIS Framework statewide, Zoning spatial data. This version is authorized for public use. Attributes include zoning districts that have been generalized to state classes. As of June 30, 2023, this feature class contains zoning data from 229 local jurisdictions. DLCD plans to continue adding to and updating this statewide zoning dataset as they receive zoning information from the local jurisdictions. Geologic Map includes 1 cross section and description of 31 units. The GIS work was in support of the U.S. Geological Survey COGEOMAP program. The Geodatabase specifies feature datasets and feature classes, together with feature attributes, subtypes and domains, suitable for the printed geologic map. In addition to basic geology (lithology, contacts and faults, etc.), the maps may include metamorphic overprints, cross-sections, and explanatory legend-graphics such as correlation charts, used to supplement columnar legends.     A 1:24,000 scale, full color geologic map of the Rice Mountain quadrangle, Lincoln County, Nevada and Iron County, Utah, with 2 cross sections and description of 23 units. Detailed geologic mapping by Jeffrey D. Keith, David G. Tingey, and Myron G. Best of Bringham Young University in 1994. Location of the Rice Mountain Quadrangle in relation to nearby geologic maps published by the U.S. Geological Survey and the Indian Peak caldera complex consisting of the Indian Peak White Rock and Mt. Wilson calderas that collapsed as the Wah Wah Springs, Lund, and Ripgut tuffs, were erupted (Best and others, 1989a). Paritial financial support for field work provided by the Geological Society of Nevada. The GIS work was in support of the U.S. Geological Survey COGEOMAP program. The Geodatabase specifies feature datasets and feature classes, together with feature attributes, subtypes and domains, suitable for a variety of geologic maps.     County Geologic Atlases (CGA) are prepared jointly by the Minnesota Geological Survey (MGS) and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Part A of each county atlas is completed by the MGS and provides a detailed account of geologic materials in the county. Part B of each county atlas is completed by the Minnesota DNR and shows groundwater and hydrology information.This story map focuses on Lincoln County ( full publication ). The CGA provides information essential to sustainable management of groundwater resources for applications such as monitoring, water allocation, permitting, remediation, and well construction. The maps and Geographic Information Science (GIS) data define aquifer properties and boundaries, as well as the connection of aquifers to the land surface and to the surface-water resources. It also provide a broad range of information on county geology, mineral resources (including construction materials), and natural history.

    description: This digital geologic and tectonic database of the Death Valley ground-water model area, as well as its accompanying geophysical maps, are compiled at 1:250,000 scale. The map compilation presents new polygon, line, and point vector data for the Death Valley region. The map area is enclosed within a 3 degree X 3 degree area along the border of southern Nevada and southeastern California. In addition to the Death Valley National Park and Death Valley-Furnace Creek fault systems, the map area includes the Nevada Test Site, the southwest Nevada volcanic field, the southern end of the Walker Lane (from southern Esmeralda County, Nevada, to the Las Vegas Valley shear zone and Stateline fault system in Clark County, Nevada), the eastern California shear zone (in the Cottonwood and Panamint Mountains), the eastern end of the Garlock fault zone (Avawatz Mountains), and the southern basin and range (central Nye and western Lincoln Counties, Nevada). This geologic map improves on previous geologic mapping in the area by providing new and updated Quaternary and bedrock geology, new interpretation of mapped faults and regional structures, new geophysical interpretations of faults beneath the basins, and improved GIS coverages. The basic geologic database has tectonic interpretations imbedded within it through attributing of structure lines and unit polygons which emphasize significant and through-going structures and units. An emphasis has been put on features which have important impacts on ground-water flow. Concurrent publications to this one include a new isostatic gravity map (Ponce and others, 2001), a new aeromagnetic map (Ponce and Blakely, 2001), and contour map of depth to basement based on inversion of gravity data (Blakely and Ponce, 2001).; abstract: This digital geologic and tectonic database of the Death Valley ground-water model area, as well as its accompanying geophysical maps, are compiled at 1:250,000 scale.     Description

    The North Carolina Department of Environment, Health, and Natural Resources, Division of Environmental Management, in cooperation with the NC Center for Geographic Information and Analysis, developed the digital Water Supply Watersheds data to enhance planning, siting and impact analysis in areas directly affecting water supply intakes. This file outlines the extent of protected and critical areas and stream classifications for areas around water supply watersheds in which development directly affects a water supply intake. This file enables users to identify the areas which have special restrictions for building and development based on water supply intakes. This file is updated as changes occur.

    This data was created to assist governmental agencies and others in making resource management decisions through use of a Geographic Information System (GIS).

B) The Mills River (Asheville) water supply watershed was moved from the proposed coverage to the adopted coverage. C) The French Broad River water supply watershed was moved from the adopted coverage into the proposed coverage. These edits affect Buncombe and Henderson Counties. 17.) filename: wsw396 The March 6, 1996 update: A) The Reedy Fork critical area was changed to 'WS-III NSW' to match the protected area. This affected the Greensboro 100k tile area. B) The Belews Creek protected area was changed to 'WS-IV' to match the critical area. This affected the Winston-Salem 100k tile area. 16.) filename: wsw196 The January 25, 1996 update: A) Protected boundary was altered in the Long Creek (Little Tennessee) watershed. The watershed name was renamed to be Rock Creek (Little Tennessee). This affected the Robbinsville 24k quad. B) Protected boundary was altered in the South Fork Catawba River watershed. This affected the Banoke 24k quad. C) Addition of protected boundary for the Belews Creek watershed. This affected the Belews Creek 24k quad. D) Watersheds were deleted by request of DEM-Tranters Creek which was on the Rocky Mount & Plymouth 100k quads and Stokely Hollow which was on the Asheville 100k quad. E) Extensive changes to the actual boundaries of the watersheds throughout the state in an effort to have them coincident with the Hydrologic Units adopted earlier by EHNR-DEM and USDA-NRCS. Boundaries coincident in both coverages were deleted from the watershed file and copied back from the hydrologic units file. PREVIOUS TO THE 1/25/96 FILE, THIS FILE WAS NAMED: NC.WSW 15.) filname: nc.wsw695 The June 30, 1995 update: A) Protected and critical boundaries were altered in the Hiawassee River watershed. This affected the Mocksville, Peachtree, Marble, and Andrews 24k quads. B) The protected boundary was altered in the South Fork Catawba River watershed in Catawbaw and Lincoln Counties. The Banoak, Reepsville, and Maiden 24k quads were affected. C) The entire WSW area in Bear Creek was deleted in Davie County, affecting the Mocksville and Calahan 24k quads. D) Protected and critical boundaries were altered in the North Toe watershed in Avery and Mitchell counties. This affects the Carvers Gap, Newland, Spruce Pine, and Linville Falls 24k quads. 14.) filename: nc.wsw595 The May 4, 1995 update: an arc was deleted which divided the South Yadkin River-Cooleemee protected area. The change affects the area within the Cool Springs, Cooleemee, Calahan, and Mocksville 24k quads. 13.) filename: nc.wsw195 The January 13, 1995 update: A) A new boundary was added to the Hiawassee River (Murphy) in the Hiawassee River Basin. This addition split the existing watershed, and the western half was deleted. The change affects the Hayesville, Peachtree, and Murphy 24k quads. 12.) filename: nc.wsw1194 The November 4, 1994 update: A) The Smith River WSW, in the Roanoke river basin, had one of its boundaries altered. C)The South Fork Catawba in the Catawba Watershed had its protected area reduced in size. The change affects the Banoak and Reepsville 24k quads. 6.) filename: nc.wsw102893 The October 28, 1993 update: A) The South Fork Catawba had previously had the protected area deleted. An additional portion of the boundary had been deleted, which was supposed to remain. The boundary was added back into the coverage. The affected maps were the 24k Maiden, Reepsville, Lincolnton West, Hickory, and Banoak, 100k quads were Hickory and Gastonia. 5.) filename: nc.wsw101593 The October 15, 1993 update: A) The northern protected area boundary for Clark Creek was deleted and the east and west critical area buffers were redigitized. Affected maps are the 24k Reepsville and Maiden and the Hickory 100k quad. 4.) filename: The September 8, 1993 update: A) The Little Tennessee River (Fontana Lake) protected area had the southeastern radius line removed, and had a northern ridgeline added.     The Maine Geoparcel Viewer Application allows users to search and view available digital parcel data for Organized Townships and Unorganized Territories in the State of Maine. The Maine GeoLibrary and the Maine Office of GIS do not maintain parcel data for communities, cannot verify parcel ownership, and are not responsible for individual parcel data verification or updating emergency records concerning parcel addresses. If you have questions about a specific parcel, please contact the appropriate Town Office or County Registry of Deeds for the most up-to-date information.Within Maine, real property data is maintained by the government organization responsible for assessing and collecting property tax for a given location. Organized towns and townships maintain authoritative data for their communities and may voluntarily submit these data to the Maine GeoLibrary Parcel Project. The "Maine Parcels Organized Towns Feature" layer and "Maine Parcels Organized Towns ADB" table are the product of these voluntary submissions. Communities provide updates to the Maine GeoLibrary on a non-regular basis, which affects the currency of Maine GeoLibrary parcels data; some data are more than ten years old. Please contact the appropriate Town Office or the County Registry of Deeds for more up-to-date parcel information. Organized Town data should very closely match registry information, except in the case of in-process property conveyance transactions.In Unorganized Territories (defined as those regions of the state without a local government that assesses real property and collects property tax), Maine Revenue Services is the authoritative source for parcel data. The "Maine Parcels Unorganized Territory" layer is the authoritative GIS data layer for the Unorganized Territories. However, it must always be used with auxiliary data obtained from the online resources of Maine Revenue Services to compile up-to-date parcel ownership information.
