    Description

    This layer contains the DSM for LiDAR data in the Bay of Plenty region, covering Tauranga, Rotorua, Whakatāne, Te Puke and Whakaari/White Island, captured from October 2019 to October 2022.

    LiDAR was captured for BOPLASS Ltd by Aerial Surveys from 27 October 2019 to 24 October 2022. The dataset was generated by Aerial Surveys and their subcontractors. Data management and distribution is by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand.

    Data comprises:

    • DEM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiledinto a 1:1,000 tile layout

    • DSM: tif or asc tiles in NZTM2000 projection, tiled into a 1:1,000 tile layout
