Nigeria Local Government Area Boundaries provides a 2023 boundary with a total population count. The layer is designed to be used for mapping and analysis. It can be enriched with additional attributes using data enrichment tools in ArcGIS Online. The 2023 boundaries are provided by Michael Bauer Research GmbH. They are sourced from GRID3 Nigeria. These were published in October 2023. A new layer will be published in 12-18 months. Other administrative boundaries for this country are also available: Country State

The digital Local Government Areas and their legal identifiers have been derived from the cadastre data from each Australian state and territory jurisdiction and are available below.\r \r Local Government Areas are part of Geoscape Administrative Boundaries, which is built and maintained by Geoscape Australia using authoritative government data. Further information about contributors to Administrative Boundaries is available here.\r \r The full Administrative Boundaries dataset comprises seven Geoscape products:\r \r * Localities\r * Local Government Areas (LGAs)\r * Wards\r * Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Boundaries,\r * Electoral Boundaries\r * State Boundaries and\r * Town Points\r \r Updated versions of Administrative Boundaries are published on a quarterly basis.\r \r Users have the option to download datasets with feature coordinates referencing either GDA94 or GDA2020 datums.\r \r There were no updates in the May 2025 release\r \r Further information on Administrative Boundaries, including FAQs on the data, is available here through Geoscape Australia’s network of partners. They provide a range of commercial products based on Administrative Boundaries, including software solutions, consultancy and support.\r \r Note: On 1 October 2020, PSMA Australia Limited began trading as Geoscape Australia. \r \r

Description | NSW Local Government Area is a dataset within the Administrative Boundaries Theme (FSDF). It depicts polygons of gazetted boundaries defining the Local Government Area. It contains all of the cadastral line data or topographic features which are used to define the boundaries between adjoining shires, municipalities, cities (Local Government Act) and the unincorporated areas of NSW. The dataset also contains Council Names, ABS Codes, Ito Codes, Vg Codes, and Wb Codes. Any changes that occur to the dataset should have a reference in the authority of reference feature class in the Land Parcel and Property. Features are positioned in topological alignment within the extents of the land parcel and property polygons for each Local Government Area and are held in alignment, including changes resulting cadastral maintenance and upgrades. |

Accuracy | The dataset maintains a positional relationship to, and alignment with, the Lot and Property digital datasets. This dataset was captured by digitising the best available cadastral mapping at a variety of scales and accuracies, ranging from 1:500 to 1:250 000 according to the National Mapping Council of Australia, Standards of Map Accuracy (1975). Therefore, the position of the feature instance will be within 0.5mm at map scale for 90% of the well-defined points. That is, 1:500 = 0.25m, 1:2000 = 1m, 1:4000 = 2m, 1:25000 = 12.5m, 1:50000 = 25m and 1:100000 = 50m. A program of positional upgrade (accuracy improvement) is currently underway. A program to upgrade the spatial location and accuracy of data is ongoing. |

The Digital City Map (DCM) data represents street lines and other features shown on the City Map, which is the official street map of the City of New York. The City Map consists of 5 different sets of maps, one for each borough, totaling over 8000 individual paper maps. The DCM datasets were created in an ongoing effort to digitize official street records and bring them together with other street information to make them easily accessible to the public. The Digital City Map (DCM) is comprised of seven datasets; Digital City Map, Street Center Line, City Map Alterations, Arterial Highways and Major Streets, Street Name Changes (areas), Street Name Changes (lines), and Street Name Changes (points). All of the Digital City Map (DCM) datasets are featured on the Streets App All previously released versions of this data are available at BYTES of the BIG APPLE- Archive
