The Local Government Budget and Financial Report Database provides the public access to current and official versions of budgets for Counties, County Ag Extensions, County/City Assessors, County Hospitals, & Townships, Benefited Fire, Lighting, Water Districts, and Misc Budgets (DART, EMC, E911, Rural Improvement Zones, Recreational Water, Sanitary Sewer Districts). The public has access to multiple forms that are part of the budget. The database also provides the public access to annual financial reports for Counties. The site provides both GAAP and Cash Financial Reports for multiple fiscal years.

The U.S. Census Bureau provides monthly estimates of the total dollar value of construction work done in the United States as part of the Value of Construction Put in Place Survey (VIP). Includes construction related to docks/marinas and dry dock/marine terminals.

This data collection contains financial data on state government revenues and expenditures for 16 states during 1933-1937. There are separate files for different levels of aggregation: (1) revenue and expenditure aggregates (1-digit codes), (2) revenues and expenditures classified by major 20th-century categories (2-digit codes), (3) revenues and expenditures classified by minor categories that correspond to special features of 19th- and/or 20th-century governments (3-digit codes), and (4) revenues and expenditures classified by idiosyncratic categories which differ from state to state (4-digit categories). Parts 1 through 4 contain expenditure data. Parts 5 through 8 comprise revenue data. Part 9 contains codes for the categories of expenditures and revenues.

The digital Local Government Areas and their legal identifiers have been derived from the cadastre data from each Australian state and territory jurisdiction and are available below.

Local Government Areas are part of Geoscape Administrative Boundaries, which is built and maintained by Geoscape Australia using authoritative government data. Further information about contributors to Administrative Boundaries is available here.

The full Administrative Boundaries dataset comprises seven Geoscape products:

Updated versions of Administrative Boundaries are published on a quarterly basis.

This dataset symbolizes city, county, town, parish, village, or other general-purpose political subdivisions of a State. The term "Unit of General Local Government" refers to a city, county, town, parish, village, or other general-purpose political subdivision of a State. Units of General Local Government (UGLG) are comprised of several Census geographies including: Summary Level 050 - State-County; Summary Level 060 - County Subdivision; Summary Level 070 - State-County-County Subdivision-Place/Remainder; Summary Level 160 - Place; Summary Level 170 - State-Consolidate City; Remainders of County Lands.

Communities and Local Government group historic spending data

The Local Government Area profiles are produced annually, from data provided by a range of sources. The profiles currently include around 130 indicators relating to population, socio-demographics, health status and health utilisation. Each indicator is provided as a rate for the LGA, and a ranking of the LGA against all 79 LGAs for that indicator. The LGA profiles also include definitions for each data item, with a description, data source and currency.

This data set contains fee data for local government Issuers, including cities, community college districts, counties, hospital districts, independent school districts, other special districts and water districts. The data excludes commercial paper. The fee information includes type of fee, firm name, HUB type, underwriter paid and cost per bond.
