"Log Into North Carolina" or LINC is an interactive data retrieval service containing historical information for over 900 data items and a variety of geographic areas within the state. Topics include population, labor force, education, transportation, revenue, agriculture, vital statistics, energy and utilities, and other topics for a variety of geographic areas. Most data are available for all 100 counties. Some items are available for municipalities. Others, especially census data, may be retrieved for tracts and townships.LINC is evolving with new data and enhanced features to include data visualization, bulk data downloads, and mapping. The new version of LINC allows the public to view data but also allows registered users to save visualizations and receive notifications of dataset updates.

TwitterThese Log Transfer Facility (LTF) sites support the transfer of logs from the road system to offshore locations in the lower-48 or points abroad. These sites are permitted through the Alaska Department of Natural Resources and the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation. Permits on all sites are current as of November 23, 2020. Historic LTF's or those no longer under permit will not appear here. Those can be found through ArcGIS online using keywords Alaska LTF or Log Transfer Facilities. That dataset is managed by the U.S. Forest Service.

Samples are taken at regular drilling intervals by water well drillers. The samples are analyzed by UGS and a geologic log and sample analysis log is created.

How to deploy templateThis template is not a traditional ArcGIS Pro template. When you download this template, you are downloading the full folder structure, pre-made map projects, layouts, databases, and tools that have been designed to work alongside SARCOP. This "template" does not use the "Create a project from a template" workflow within Pro, rather you are downloading the full project, and it can be modified as you see fit from there. Below are the recommended steps to take to deploy the template.Download the template anywhere on your PC by clicking the Download button on the top right below Sign In and Overview. This will download as a Zipped folder, likely to your Downloads folder.Go to the C drive of your computer and create a new folder called "Incidents", then create another folder within that Incidents folder with the name of the incident you are using the template for. For example, if the incident name is "Hurricane Lisa", the folder path should look something like "C:\Incidents\2024xxxx_HurricaneLisa".Extract the zipped folder contents from step 1 to that new incident folder you created in step 2. In the Hurricane Lisa example, data would be extracted to C:\Incidents\2024xxxx_HurricaneLisa.Go to the newly extracted folders and find the Projects folder. This dataset is a spatial display of US Forest Service stumpage market appraisal zones. A zone may encompass a Region, a National Forest, a group of Ranger Districts, or combinations thereof. Each unique market appraisal zone defines a localized stumpage market. In each market area, stumpage values reflect the market value of standing trees (on the stump) prior to felling, removal, and utilization in a value-added manufacturing activity. The zone boundary is typically determined by factors including, but not limited to, manufacturing facilities, hauling distances, species yield compositions, timber quality, market area competition, and logging methods. Esri produced this vector tile basemap in ArcGIS Pro from a live replica of OSM data, hosted by Esri, and rendered using a creative cartographic style emulating a blueprint technical drawing. The vector tiles are updated every few weeks with the latest OSM data. This vector basemap is freely available for any user or developer to build into their web map or web mapping apps.OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an open collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. Volunteers gather location data using GPS, local knowledge, and other free sources of information and upload it. The resulting free map can be viewed and downloaded from the OpenStreetMap site: www.OpenStreetMap.org. Esri is a supporter of the OSM project and is excited to make this new vector basemap available available to the OSM, GIS, and Developer communities.

TwitterAs part of the NSTA’s published 2017/18 Activity Plan, the NSTA is publishing a set of regional geological maps for the Central North Sea and Moray Firth areas of the UKCS. These maps represent the first set of deliverables from a 3 year contract with Lloyd’s Register (LR) to produce a series of maps and associated databases for the whole of the UKCS. All data released with this set of geological maps is public domain data. The project has, however, benefited from a number of additional third party data sources which have been used to help inform final maps and/or derive interpreted products. These include the 21st Century Roadmap Palaeozoic project(which is now available in the public domain), PGS’s North Sea Digital Atlas, research data from the University of Aberdeen, CGG’s Target database and relevant products available via the BGS’s Offshore Geoindex. TGS are gratefully acknowledged for providing joined digital log data from LogLinePlus to enable the production of sand flag curves. Schlumberger, TGS and BP are acknowledged for providing additional seismic data to help QC interpretation carried out within the project and CDA are also kindly acknowledged for their support in downloading and providing much of the released well data to LR as part of this project. Due to the high level, regional nature of the project, the maps are being produced for the main geological time intervals e.g. Paleocene, Lower Cretaceous, Upper Jurassic. Each time interval includes the following products: Depth structure maps Isochore maps Subcrop & supercrop maps Structural elements maps Depositional facies maps Reservoir distribution maps Source rock maps Well penetration maps Hydrocarbon occurrence maps The products published here include: a series of layered PDF documents which provide explanations of the various maps and datasets that have been produced plus a set of stratigraphic and petroleum systems charts. an ArcGIS project containing all of the maps and associated data. NSTA web feature services (WFSs) have been included in the map document in this delivery. They replace the use of a shapefile or feature class to represent block, licence and quadrant data. By using a WFS, the data is automatically updated when it becomes available via the NSTA digital copies of the sand flags (.las format) digital copies of the depth and thickness grids produced in the project (.xyz format)
