Content

The data was acquired from Play Lebanon's Historical data, that contains all the winning lottery numbers since September of 2002, until November of 2019. The data was acquired by downloading the webpage containing the historical data as an HTML file (the website did not accept any requests) and then extracted using a script that I developed and uploaded to GitHub.

Inspiration

It would be interesting to investigate the "fairness" of the lottery and to see if any patterns that point towards the lottery being rigged can be uncovered.

This data is calculated initially using a default 5 percent annual growth rate, and after page load, it features a sliding scale component where the user can then further adjust the growth rate to their own positive or negative projections. The maximum positive adjustable growth rate is 100 percent, and the minimum adjustable growth rate is -100 percent.
