A community's permit file must have an official record that shows new buildings and substantial improvements in all identified Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs)are properly elevated. This elevation information is needed to show compliance with the floodplain management ordinance. FEMA encourages communities to use the Elevation Certificate developed by FEMA to fulfill this requirement since it also can be used by the property owner to obtain flood insurance. Communities participating in the Community Rating System (CRS) are required to use the FEMA Online Elevation Certificate, FEMA Form FF-206-FY-22-152 (formerly 086-0-33).

The product RP21 - Land parcel certificate contains all land parcel information as well as public-law determinations including soil estimation, evaluation and information on the land parcel. The product RP31 - Property map shows the graphic representation of the plot on the selected scale (free scale). The choice of scale 1:1000 (official property map) may be necessary due to specific requirements of external persons and bodies.

The Display Energy Certificates for Bristol City Council buildings

Finding Schools is now easier than ever with the College Map, the first geographic search tool published by IPEDS (Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System) providing access to over 7,000 certificate, undergraduate and graduate-level schools. This all-in-one tool enables students, parents and counselors to filter potential programs for location, major, tuition and more. Including both certificate-level programs and advanced degrees, this public application makes the often overwhelming process of school searching simple, and it’s available on mobile devices.Once the results are narrowed down, users can share their lists on social media or download in excel format. Additionally, the College Map integrates with the College Navigator, a research based search tool providing data from the complete list of IPEDS Survey indicators.

This group includes the following items: 1. Hampton Roads Elevation Certificate Building Footprints: includes only building footprints where final elevation certificates are available, with elevations reported in the vertical datum provided on the elevation certificate (NGVD 29 or NAVD 88). 2. Hampton Roads Elevation Certificate Parcels: includes only parcels where final elevation certificates are available, with elevations reported in the vertical datum provided on the elevation certificate (NGVD 29 or NAVD 88). Where necessary, conversions from NGVD 1929 to NAVD 1988 were completed using the VERTCON (NOAA NGS, 2019). Elevation certificates were collected from the following 12 localities: Chesapeake, Franklin, Gloucester County, Hampton, James City County, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Southampton County, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and York County. Localities included in the current inventory were able to provide digital elevation certificate copies. This inventory is not complete for the region, and elevation certificates will continue to be added to the database when available. The elevation certificate database was developed by HRPDC staff with support from the Center for Geospatial, Science, Education, and Analytics at Old Dominion University (ODU). Context

I created these files and analysis as part of working on a case study for the Google Data Analyst certificate.

Question investigated: Do annual members and casual riders use Cyclistic bikes differently? Why do we want to know?: Knowing bike usage/behavior by rider type will allow the Marketing, Analytics, and Executive team stakeholders to design, assess, and approve appropriate strategies that drive profitability.

Inspiration

This was my first attempt to conduct an analysis in R and create the R Markdown file. As you might guess, it was an eye-opening experience, with both exciting discoveries and aggravating moments.

One thing I have not yet been able to figure out is how to add a legend to the map. I was able to get a legend to appear on a separate (empty) map, but not on the map you will see here.

I am also interested to see what others did with this analysis - what were the findings and insights you found?

This web map shows the building ownership (owned or leased), building status (academic, residential or service) & building Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification of each building on the MIT campus.

These data provide a spatial representation of the Arizona Department of Transport planned and existing regional freeway system, from 1960 to 2003.

To operate an ambulance service and ambulances in Arizona, an application must be filed with the Department of Health Services, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services & Trauma System, and a Certificate of Necessity (CON) granted by the Director. This dataset contains a representation of the CON service boundaries. While this dataset is complete for Arizona, there are known issues with intra & inter-polygon topology (gaps/slivers) and alignment with features used to create the CON boundaries. Please refer to the service area boundary described in the CON certificate, which can be found on this website. The data was last updated January 2024.
