This countywide composite of parcels (cadastral) data for Monmouth County represents digitized property boundaries that were developed from best available local and municipal tax maps data. The normalized parcels data are compatible with the New Jersey Department of Treasury MOD-IV system currently used by tax assessors. Stewardship and maintenance of the data continue under the purview of the Monmouth County GIS Office as well as local municipal tax authorities. Parcel attributes were normalized to a standard structure, specified in the New Jersey GIS Parcel Mapping Standard, to store parcel information and provide a PIN (parcel identification number) field common to the PIN that was to be stored in the PAMS (Property Assessment Management System) database to replace the MOD-IV database. Please note that this parcel dataset is not intended for use as tax maps nor for legal purposes. The dataset is intended to provide reasonable representations of parcel boundaries primarily for planning purposes and cartographic representation. Please note cautions when performing a join with this dataset and MOD-IV property records, specifically regarding duplicate and erroneous records. All records may not be provided for in the parcels data or MOD-IV (Tax List Search) tables because of how the data and tables are constructed, or for temporal mismatches. MOD-IV provides for the uniform preparation, maintenance, presentation and storage of property tax information required by the Constitution of the State of New Jersey, New Jersey Statutes and rules promulgated by the Director of Taxation. MOD-IV maintains and updates all assessment records, and produces all statutorily required tax lists. These lists account for all parcels of real property as delineated and identified on each municipality's official tax map, as well as taxable values and descriptive data for each parcel.

This data layer is an Esri file geodatabase polygon feature class that contains parcel boundaries maintained by county agencies in Indiana. It was released by the Indiana Geographic Information Office (IGIO) on November 13, 2024. The IGIO compiled the data as part of the Indiana Data Harvest program between the Indiana Geographic Information Council (IGIC) and Indiana local governments to provide the most accurate framework data for the citizens of Indiana. These layers include address points, street centerlines, land parcels, and governmental boundaries.

This map was created in order to display public parcel data at small and large scales. The spatial point data is aggregated by the State of Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology Geospatial Information Systems Team.

Publication Date: April 2025 2024 Parcel Data. Updated annually, or as needed. The data can be downloaded here: https://gis.ny.gov/parcels#data-download. This feature service has two layers: 1) NYS Tax Parcels Public, and 2) NYS Tax Parcels Public Footprint which contains polygons representing counties for which tax parcel polygons are available in the NYS Tax Parcels Public layer. County footprint polygons display when zoomed out beyond 1:37,050-scale. Tax parcel polygons display when zoomed in below 1:37,051-scale. The NYS Tax Parcels Public layer contains 2024 parcel data only for NY State counties which gave NYS ITS Geospatial Services permission to share this data with the public. Work to obtain parcel data from additional counties, as well as permission to share the data, is ongoing. To date, 36 counties have provided Geospatial Services permission to share their parcel data with the public. Parcel data for counties which do not allow Geospatial Services to redistribute their data must be obtained directly from those counties. Geospatial Services' goal is to eventually include parcel data for all counties in New York State. Parcel geometry was incorporated as received from County Real Property Departments. No attempt was made to edge-match parcels along adjacent counties. County attribute values were populated using 2024 Assessment Roll tabular data the NYS ITS Geospatial Services obtained from the NYS Department of Tax and Finance’s Office of Real Property Tax Services (ORPTS). Tabular assessment data was joined to the county provided parcel geometry using the SWIS & SBL or SWIS & PRINT KEY unique identifier for each parcel. Historically, the earliest Bakersfield “urban” subdivisions were not called tracts. The downtown area was subdivided into blocks and lots. Early citywide maps show the city blocks numbered from 1 to over 700. Some blocks were designated by letters rather than numbers. Each block was further subdivided into numbered lots. Thereafter housing subdivisions were called tracts and initially were named (example; Lowell Addition). Many of these “Named” tracts were also subdivided into blocks and lots. The earliest rural land subdivisions are the Sales Map Lands of J. B. Haggin and the Sales Map Lands of the Kern County l Land Company. The legal description of most modern lots is comprised of some combination of the fields: Document Type, Map Number, Phase and Lot Number. A “Block” field should be added for old parcels whose legal description is comprised of tract, block and lot (or just block and lot). The legal description fields for most of the older parcels are not populated at this time. Class(Domain)This field provides an opportunity to classify lots for specific purposes. The Private road lot class was created so these lots could be neglected when exporting parcels for the Community Maps Project. Address The street address of a lot can be populated if the address point feature class objects have already been created and populated by the GIS Analyst at Community Development. Where there are multiple addresses on a parcel, this data is captured on the Address Point feature class. Assessor Parcel Number (APN) and Assessor Tax Numbers (ATN)The most important parcel layer attributes are the APN and ATN values that are assigned by the Kern County Assessor. An 8 digit APN is assigned to a property that has a specific geometry as defined by a legal description. If any new change occurs such as a lot line adjustment, then the geometry of the parcel(s) are changed and the APN’s for the affected properties are dropped and are never re-assigned. New unique APN’s are assigned to the affected properties and remain as long as the legal description of the geometry does not change. It usually takes at least a few months after a tract is recorded and the parcel feature class objects are developed before the County assigns APN’s to those parcels. The APN field is populated with “NEW” until such time as values are assigned. Parcel APNs can be acquired from the following sources: https://kernpublicworks.com/maps/parcel-maps/, Preliminary (January) and final (July) Kern County parcel GIS releases. Some Condominium common areas do not have an APN. The APN field is populated with “CONDOLOT”. These parcels are retained in order to preserve road right of ways. The Florida Department of Revenue’s Property Tax Oversight(PTO) program collects parcel level Geographic Information System (GIS) data files every April from all of Florida’s 67 county property appraisers’ offices. This GIS data was exported from these file submissions in August 2024. The GIS parcel polygon features have been joined with thereal property roll (Name – Address – Legal, or NAL)file. No line work was adjusted between county boundaries.The polygon data set represents the information property appraisers gathered from the legal description on deeds, lot layout of recorded plats, declaration of condominium documents, recorded and unrecorded surveys.Individual parcel data is updated continually by each county property appraiser as needed. The GIS linework and related attributions for the statewide parcel map are updated annually by the Department every August.
