Assessments & Taxation (A&T) Database from MD Property View 2004 for Carroll County. The A&T Database contains parcel data from the State Department of Assessments and Taxation; it incorporates parcel ownership and address information, parcel valuation information and basic information about the land and structure(s) associated with a given parcel. These data form the basis for the 2004 Database, which also includes selected Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) characteristics, text descriptions to make parcel code field data more readily accessible and logical True/False fields which identify parcels with certain characteristics. Documentation for A&T, including a thorough definition for all attributes is enclosed. Complete Property View documentation can be found at http://www.mdp.state.md.us/data/index.htm under the "Technical Background" tab.

It should be noted that the A&T Database consists of points and not parcel boundaries. For those areas where parcel polygon data exists the A&T Database can be joined using the ACCTID or a concatenation of the BLOCK and LOT fields, whichever is appropriate. (Spaces may have to be excluded when concatenating the BLOCK and LOT fields).

A cursory review of the 2004 version of the A&T Database indicates that it has more accurate data when compared with the 2003 version, particularly with respect to dwelling types. However, for a given record it is not uncommon for numerous fields to be missing attributes. Based on previous version of the A&T Database it is also not unlikely that some of the information is inaccurate. This layer was edited to remove points that did not have a valid location because they failed to geocode. There were 848 such points. A listing of the deleted points is in the table with the suffix "DeletedRecords."

    Description

This is a MD iMAP hosted service. Find more information at http://imap.maryland.gov. The units of geography used for the 2010 Census maps displayed here are the Zip Code Tabulation Area (ZCTA). ZCTAs are statistical geographic areas produced by the Census Bureau by aggregating census blocks to create generalized areas closely resembling the U.S. Postal Service's postal zip codes. The data collected on the short form survey are general demographic characteristics such as age - race - ethnicity - household relationship - housing vacancy and tenure (owner/renter).Feature Service Link:https://mdgeodata.md.gov/imap/rest/services/Demographics/MD_CensusData/FeatureServer ADDITIONAL LICENSE TERMS: The Spatial Data and the information therein (collectively "the Data") is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind either expressed implied or statutory. Description

This is a free to use, central biomarker database which includes evidence on thousands of biomarker targets from blood serum and muscle tissue quantified via different technologies: mass spectrometry, aptamer-based protein screens, Affymetrix gene expression arrays, RT-PCR, etc. It provides easy access to cumulative knowledge in biomarkers for specific muscular dystrophies. Currently, this database includes data with a focus on serum proteins, but linked to muscle tissue biopsy based mRNA profiles. • Provided with external links to UniProt, QuickGO, Human Protein Atlas for each biomarker. • With information on the biomarker’s known involvement in other diseases and the MIM number. The database focuses on Duchenne muscular dystrophy (to be expanded) and the following questions (more to be added): • Which biomarkers behave similarly, i.e., have similar expression trends? • Which biomarkers are different between boys with DMD and unaffected controls in serum and tissue? • Which biomarkers respond to therapeutics, e.g., steroids? • Which biomarkers are associated with age? • Which biomarkers are associated with clinical outcomes?

    Description

This is a MD iMAP hosted service. Find more information on http://imap.maryland.gov. The DFIRM Database presents the flood risk information depicted on a given Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) in a digital format suitable for use in electronic mapping applications. The DFIRM database is a subset of the Digital Flood Insurance Study (FIS) database that serves to archive the information collected during the FIS. This map service is a composite of Effective and Preliminary floodplain data. Q3 data is used where neither Effective or Preliminary data is available for a given community. The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event - the 0.2-percent-annual- chance flood event - and areas of minimal flood risk. The DFIRM Database is derived from Flood Insurance Studies (FISs) - previously published Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) - flood hazard analyses performed in support of the FISs and FIRMs - and new mapping data - where available. The FISs and FIRMs are published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The specifications for the horizontal control of DFIRM data files are consistent with those required for mapping at a scale of 1:12 - 000. Description

Assessments & Taxation (A&T) Database from MD Property View 2004 for Baltimore City. There were 379 such points. A listing of the deleted points is in the table with the suffix "DeletedRecords." This is part of a collection of 221 Baltimore Ecosystem Study metadata records that point to a geodatabase. The geodatabase is available online and is considerably large. Upon request, and under certain arrangements, it can be shipped on media, such as a usb hard drive. The geodatabase is roughly 51.4 Gb in size, consisting of 4,914 files in 160 folders. Although this metadata record and the others like it are not rich with attributes, it is nonetheless made available because the data that it represents could be indeed useful. This is a MD iMAP hosted service layer. Find more information at http://imap.maryland.gov. The Maryland Department of Natural resources began updating the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) mapping of wetlands in Maryland in the early 1990s. This database lists the 3.75' x 3.75' USGS quadrangles for which 'DNR Wetlands' have been mapped. It identifies the date of source photography used to map wetlands - and the status of mapping effort. This database also gives the five-letter abbreviation used for naming 'DNR_Wetlands' files. In most cases - the first five characters are the first 'five characters' of the 'USGS 7.5' Quad Name.' When completed - the series will provide coverage for the entire State of Maryland. Description

Maryland Roadway Centerline data consists of linear geometric features which represent the street centerline for all public roadways in the State of Maryland. The centerline represents the geographic location on the roadway between both shoulders (physical center), which often but not always coincides with the center painted line dividing bi-directional travel lanes. Roadway Centerlines data plays an important role in transportation management and planning, while also being the basis for all other roadway related data products.Maryland Roadway Centerline data is the end product of a statewide data sharing process between the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), county governments and local municipal governments. Using a common centerline allows for better exchange of information related to the roadway system and provides opportunities for more efficient collection of information about roadway assets. Some centerlines were created in-house using imagery, GPS data, and MDOT SHA's Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) database and others were received from county governments and updated in house using imagery, GPS data and MDOT SHA's HPMS database. The Centerline data includes annual HPMS updates / improvements submitted to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Maryland Roadway Centerline data is needed for emergency response and management, routing buses and other vehicles, planning for land use and transportation needs, continuity of roadway data and display at county boundaries leading to the same "look and feel" across jurisdictions, tracking assets on and along the roadway network, producing maps at various scales, and numerous other applications. There are opportunities to make these processes more efficient, and this program addresses a shared foundation to solve some of these issues. This data is also used by various business units throughout MDOT, as well as many other Federal, State and local government agencies. Maryland Roadway Centerline data is updated and published on an annual basis for the prior year. This data is for the year 2017.
