    Description

Many geometrical schemes - or map projections - are used to represent the curved surface of the Earth on map sheets. Canada uses the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) system. It is called transverse because the strips run north-south rather than east-west along the equator. This data class shows a 5 km x 5 km grid coordinate system based on the UTM projection using the North American Datum 83 (NAD83). It includes a UTM Map Sheet Number.

    Description

The WMS (Web Map Service) of Differentiated Quality Zones - Cheeses and Butters allows the visualization and consultation of the geographical areas available for the Cheeses and Butters product family of the Differentiated Quality maps, generated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Food and Environment (MAPAMA), corresponding to a national cartography on the product families of the geographical areas that cover the Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and the Protected Geographical Indications (PGI). The Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indications (PGI) constitute the system used in our country for the recognition of a differentiated quality, a consequence of its own and differential characteristics, due to the geographical environment in which the raw materials are produced, the products are made, and the influence of the human factor that participates in them. The differentiated quality maps only include those products with PDO and PGI that have the approval of their regulation by the European Union. The URL of the WMS Service Differentiated Quality Zones - Cheese and Butter is: https://wms.mapama.gob.es/sig/Food/CDQuesos/wms.aspx The reference systems offered by this service are: -For geographical coordinates: CRS: 84, EPSG:4230 (ED50), EPSG:4326 (WGS 84), EPSG:4258 (ETRS 89). -For U.T.M coordinates: EPSG:32628 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 28N), EPSG:32629 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 29N), EPSG:32630 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 30N), EPSG:32631 (WGS 84 / UTM zone 31N), EPSG:25828 (ETRS 89 / UTM zone 28N), EPSG:25829 (ETRS 89 / UTM zone 29N), EPSG:25830 (ETRS 89 / UTM zone 30N), EPSG:25831 (ETRS 89 / UTM zone 31N), EPSG:23028 (ED50 / UTM zone 28N), EPSG:23029 (ED50 / UTM zone 29N), EPSG:23030 (ED50 / UTM zone 30N), EPSG:23031 (ED50 / UTM zone 31N).
