    Description

Building feature updates include Buildings (all types), trailers overhead structures, and docks/piers. This dataset is provided as part of 1":100' planimetric update mapping of bridge, buildings, driveways, parking, edge of pavement, and sidewalk features. Updates were performed by Kucera International, Inc. in 2023-2024 for approximately 472 square miles, including the following areas: City of Mobile metropolitan area, the Big Creek Watershed, the City of Chickasaw, and portions of the Cities of Prichard, Saraland, and Satsuma. See 2023 update boundary or contact City of Mobile for more information. Using the YEAR_REVIEWED field will tell you which ortho image year the feature was updated. The updates are based on three inch resolution RGB ortho-rectified aerial imagery that was collected in 2022 for the western half of Mobile County and in 2023 for the eastern half of Mobile County. Features were manually updated using “heads-up” fashion digitizing at a 1” = 100’ scale in 2D using the 3-inch resolution ortho-rectified imagery. Features that are new, no longer present or of significant change (defined by 10' by 10') are updated as they appear in 2022/2023 imagery. Unpaved parking added in 2023/2024 are within commercial and industrial parcels, as well as other areas specified as per case by the City of Mobile. The following SURFACE_TYPE attribute domain was used for features added in 2023/2024, unless otherwise specified as per case by City of Mobile: PAVED, UNPAVED. Other various surface types in the dataset were unchanged or modified in 2023/2024.

    Description

These data were automated to provide an accurate high-resolution historical shoreline of North Of Mobile Bay, Alabama suitable as a geographic information system (GIS) data layer. These data are derived from shoreline maps that were produced by the NOAA National Ocean Service including its predecessor agencies which were based on an office interpretation of imagery and/or field survey. The NGS attribution scheme 'Coastal Cartographic Object Attribute Source Table (C-COAST)' was developed to conform the attribution of various sources of shoreline data into one attribution catalog. C-COAST is not a recognized standard, but was influenced by the International Hydrographic Organization's S-57 Object-Attribute standard so the data would be more accurately translated into S-57. Description

This dataset was compiled by selecting all tax parcels with a use description of mobile home park or camper park and creating a new layer from this selection. This layer was then used to erase duplicate features in the old mobile home parks layer. The altered, original mobile home parks layer was joined to the new layer so that any mobile home parks not indicated in the tax parcel layer would be included. The new layer was manually checked for errors to ensure that each feature accurately depicted the boundaries of the tax parcel for each mobile home park and the name and owner information for each park.

    Description

This is SCAG 2019 Regional Land Use dataset developed for the final 2024 Connect SoCal, the 2024-2050 Regional Transportation Plan/Sustainable Communities Strategy (RTP/SCS), including general plan land use, specific plan land use, zoning code, and existing land use at parcel-level (approximately five million parcels) for 197 local jurisdictions in the SCAG region. The regional land use dataset is developed (1) to aid in SCAG’s regional transportation planning, scenario planning and growth forecasting, (2) facilitate policy discussion on various planning issues, and (3) enhance information database to better serve SCAG member jurisdictions, research institutes, universities, developers, general public, etc. It is the most frequently and widely utilized SCAG geospatial data. From late 2019 to early 2020, SCAG staff obtained the 2019 parcel boundary GIS file and tax roll property information from county assessor’s offices. After months of data standardization and clean-up process, SCAG staff released the 2019 parcel boundary GIS files along with the 2019 Annual Land Use dataset in February 2021. In December 2021, SCAG staff successfully developed the preliminary dataset of the 2019 regional land use data and released the draft SCAG Data/Map Book in May 2022. The preliminary land use data was reviewed by local jurisdictions during the Local Data Exchange (LDX) process for Connect SoCal 2024. As a part of the final 2019 regional land use data development process, SCAG staff made every effort to review the local jurisdictions’ inputs and comments and incorporated any updates to the regional land use datasets. The products of this project has been used as one of the key elements for Connect SoCal 2024 plan development, growth forecasting, scenario planning, and SCAG’s policy discussion on various planning issues, as well as Connect SoCal key growth strategy analysis.Note: This dataset is intended for planning purposes only, and SCAG shall incur no responsibility or liability as to the completeness, currentness, or accuracy of this information. Description

These data were automated to provide an accurate high-resolution historical shoreline of Mobile Bay Tensaw River to Dauphin Island, AL suitable as a geographic information system (GIS) data layer. Description

Data DictionaryThe Allparcels data set is a thematic layer depicting past, present and future tax year real property parcel boundaries within Snohomish County, Washington based on the legal descriptions contained in the assessment roll. Parcels in this data set are defined as real property entities that can be valued for the purpose of collecting taxes. Parcels include, but are not limited to land, buildings on leased land, mobile homes and condominium units. Parcels may overlap. Parcels such as condominium units and mobile homes that may occupy a single polygon are represented as non-planar features (regions) of the same geographic extent. The Parcels data set does not depict legal ownership boundaries nor does it represent legal building lots. Snohomish County does not maintain parcels for the complete geographic coverage of the county. There is no parcel fabric in much of the eastern mountainous area. This data set is not designed to be used in connection with tabular attribute files. Its sole purpose is for historical tracking of changes in the parcel geometry. For current parcel geometry and tabular attributes, see the Parcels data set.
