The Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map (DFIRM) Database depicts flood risk information and supporting data used to develop the risk data. The primary risk classifications used are the 1-percent-annual-chance flood event, the 0.2-percent-annual-chance flood event, and areas of minimal flood risk. The DFIRM Database is derived from Flood Insurance Studies (FISs), previously published Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs), flood hazard analyses performed in support of the FISs and FIRMs, and new mapping data, where available. The FISs and FIRMs are published by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The file is georeferenced to earth's surface using the State Plane projection and coordinate system. The specifications for the horizontal control of DFIRM data files are consistent with those required for mapping at a scale of 1:12,000.

Line coverage for topography. Not attributed for elevation. Designed for use as a base map. The geologic data was mapped during the summer of 1998 at a scale of 1:24,000. The bedrock geology was mapped using standard techniques. Locational information was provided by Rockwell PLGR+96 GPS receivers using the federal precise positioning service. The line and polygon data were compiled on a mylar greenline of the 7.5-minute quadrangle and scanned at 400 dpi on an Anatech Eagle 4080T scanner. The raster files (TIF) were converted to vector files (DXF) using GTX OSR version 2.0 raster-to-vector conversion software. The vector files were imported to Arc/Info version 7.0.4. Point data were collected with GPS and hand held 3COM Palm Pilot III PDA computers. Data from the PDAs were combined in Microsoft Access, and then imported as ASCII text files and (dbf) files into Arc/Info. The Arc/Info coverages were registered and transformed to the New Hampshire State Plane Coordinate system. The topography was obtained from a photographic negative separate of contour lines from the Windham, NH (1953 edition) U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle. The negative was scanned on the Anatech scanner at 400 dpi.

This data set consists of a detailed digital map of the areal extent of fields and a summary of the irrigated acreage for the 2018 growing season developed for Hillsborough County, Florida. Selected attribute data that include crop type, irrigation system, and primary water source were collected for each irrigated field.
The Bureau of Reclamation's Scoggins Dam lies within the Gales Creek fault zone southwest of Hillsboro, Oregon. Recent geologic mapping shows the dam to overlie a potentially active strand of the fault. This report describes the geology of the dam in detail and confirms that the dam overlies a strand of the Gales Creek fault. The report documents small faults in the reservoir and off the north end of the dam along the Parsons Creek strand of the fault. The report further documents the geology of an alternative dam site downstream of the existing dam.

This record is maintained in the National Geologic Map Database (NGMDB). The NGMDB is a Congressionally mandated national archive of geoscience maps, reports, and stratigraphic information, developed according to standards defined by the cooperators, i.e., the USGS and the Association of American State Geologists (AASG). Included in this system is a comprehensive set of publication citations, stratigraphic nomenclature, downloadable content, unpublished source information, and guidance on standards development. The NGMDB contains information on more than 90,000 maps and related geoscience reports published from the early 1800s to the present day, by more than 630 agencies, universities, associations, and private companies. For more information, please see http://ngmdb.usgs.gov/.
