The Notice was applicable to the 2014 and 2015 calendar years with the requirement to report for the most recent calendar year. The information will be used to update the commercial status of these substances, to inform priority setting, and to support risk assessment and risk management activities. In line with communicating information received in response to information gathering initiatives, the Government of Canada published the Approach to disclose confidential information and promote transparency in chemicals management.
