The Neurodiversity Cognitive Assessment Software market is emerging as a pivotal solution in educational and clinical settings, designed to facilitate the assessment and understanding of diverse cognitive profiles, especially among neurodiverse populations. This market has gained significant traction in recent years
This data has emerged from qualitative semi-structured interviews which obtained the experiences and perspectives of international practitioners who work with autistic men/men with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder who perpetrate domestic abuse in intimate relationships. It aimed to understand how practitioners can provide safe and effective interventions for neurodivergent men and victim-survivors.
Key findings included concerns regarding the lack of knowledge about neurodivergence, screening and awareness amongst practitioners, workforce development, recruitment and retainment, and the resourcing and sustainability of neurodivergent responsive interventions. It also identified that practitioners had witnessed that neurodivergent men experience barriers to engagement within mainstream programmes developed and delivered by and for neurotypical people, and that more research is needed about the implications of this for victim-survivors and those who work with them within integrated services.
According to our latest research, the global sensory-friendly travel market size reached USD 5.1 billion in 2024, demonstrating a robust momentum driven by increasing awareness and demand for inclusive travel experiences. The market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 13.7% from 2025 to 2033, reaching an estimated USD 15.3 billion by 2033. This rapid expansion can be attributed to a surge in initiatives by travel service providers to accommodate neurodivergent travelers, particularly those on the autism spectrum and individuals with sensory processing disorders, coupled with rising advocacy for accessible tourism worldwide.
One of the primary growth factors fueling the sensory-friendly travel market is the increasing global prevalence of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and sensory processing disorders. As per recent statistics, approximately 1 in 36 children in the United States are diagnosed with ASD, and similar trends are observed globally. This has led to a heightened focus among travel industry players on developing sensory-friendly offerings that cater to the unique needs of these travelers. Service providers are investing significantly in staff training, infrastructure modifications, and the creation of calm environments to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for neurodivergent individuals and their families. The growing emphasis on social inclusion and the implementation of legal frameworks supporting disability rights have further accelerated the adoption of sensory-friendly travel solutions.
Another significant driver is the increasing collaboration between advocacy groups, government agencies, and the private sector to promote accessible tourism. Destinations and travel operators are working closely with organizations specializing in neurodiversity to develop guidelines and certification programs for sensory-friendly travel. These collaborations have resulted in the proliferation of sensory rooms at airports, quiet zones in hotels, and specially curated tour packages that minimize sensory overload. The integration of technology, such as mobile applications providing real-time sensory information and virtual tours, has also enhanced the accessibility of travel planning for neurodivergent individuals. As awareness continues to grow, more families and caregivers are seeking travel experiences that prioritize comfort, predictability, and sensory safety, further expanding the market base.
Furthermore, the evolving expectations of modern travelers and the rise of experiential tourism have contributed to the expansion of the sensory-friendly travel market. Travelers today are increasingly seeking personalized and meaningful experiences that cater to their unique preferences and requirements. The travel industry has responded by diversifying its offerings, including sensory-friendly accommodations, transportation options, and attractions. The rise of online platforms and digital marketing has made it easier for travelers to discover and book sensory-friendly experiences, fostering greater transparency and trust. As the competitive landscape intensifies, service providers are differentiating themselves by offering tailored solutions that address the specific sensory needs of their clientele, driving innovation and market growth.
From a regional perspective, North America currently leads the sensory-friendly travel market, accounting for the largest share in 2024, followed by Europe and Asia Pacific. The United States, in particular, has witnessed a surge in sensory-friendly initiatives across major cities and tourist destinations, supported by robust advocacy and regulatory frameworks. Europe is also experiencing significant growth, driven by increased investment in accessible tourism infrastructure and cross-border collaborations. In the Asia Pacific region, rising awareness, growing disposable incomes, and government support for inclusive tourism are expected to propel market expansion at a notable CAGR during the forecast period. Latin America and the Middle East & Africa are gradually catching up, with targeted efforts to enhance accessibility and cater to the needs of neurodivergent travelers.
In parallel with the growth of sensory-friendly travel, the LGBTQ+ Travel market is also witnessing a significant rise

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a significant number of medical students worldwide. It is poorly recognised by educators, and therefore inadequately accommodated for in educational strategies. In order to investigate this further, a literature review and pilot survey were conducted. Health educators employed by The University of Newcastle, Australia, completed a short online survey, which focused on their understanding of, and ability to recognise and adapt teaching strategies for students with ADHD. The results of the survey informed the development of a resource that provided evidence-based strategies for supporting the learning of tertiary students with ADHD. In addition, the results of this pilot study may form the basis for further research in this domain. Given the prevalence and potential impact of ADHD on higher education, it is important to gain deeper insight into how medical educators can best engage and support students with ADHD. This knowledge may potentially reduce the negative impacts of this neurodiversity on students and support their learning and well-being throughout their medical career. Ultimately this may help doctors to achieve their full potential, especially in clinical decision-making.
According to our latest research, the global Airport AI-Powered Autism Travel Assistant market size reached USD 412.8 million in 2024, driven by increasing demand for inclusive travel solutions and advancements in artificial intelligence. The market is expected to expand at a robust CAGR of 18.7% from 2025 to 2033, achieving a projected value of USD 1,982.6 million by 2033. This rapid growth is primarily fueled by heightened awareness around neurodiversity, the integration of AI in passenger services, and regulatory pushes for accessible travel environments. As the aviation industry embraces digital transformation, AI-powered autism travel assistants are becoming essential in enhancing the travel experience for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
One of the most significant growth factors for the Airport AI-Powered Autism Travel Assistant market is the rising global prevalence of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), which is now estimated to affect about 1 in 100 children worldwide. This increase has prompted airports, airlines, and travel agencies to adopt more inclusive practices, with AI-powered solutions emerging as a key enabler. These assistants facilitate smoother navigation, communication, and sensory management for autistic travelers, thereby reducing travel anxiety and improving overall satisfaction. Furthermore, as airports compete to enhance customer experience and meet accessibility mandates, investments in AI-powered autism travel assistants are expected to surge, particularly in regions with progressive disability inclusion policies.
Technological advancements in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and sensor-based hardware have significantly enhanced the functionality of autism travel assistants. Modern solutions offer real-time navigation, predictive sensory management, and personalized guidance, tailored to the unique needs of neurodivergent passengers. The integration of cloud-based platforms allows for seamless updates and scalability, while on-premises solutions cater to airports with stringent data privacy requirements.
