The finance, insurance, real estate, rental, and leasing industry added the most real value to the gross domestic product of the state, amounting to 20.36 billion U.S. dollars. Comparatively, the mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction industry added around 155 million U.S. dollars worth of value to the state's GDP.
