This data set contains parcel boundaries and associated attribute data for communities in New Hampshire. It is compiled and managed by the NH Department of Revenue Administration to support property tax equalization activities. Data was last updated in April, 2016.The map services includes 3 layers: 1) parcel polygons with attributes; 2) parcel lines (for communities without polygon data); 3) parcel points, carrying the attributes associated with the parcel lines. Basic documentation is available here; land use codes are available here.
This Feature Class was created in 2014 as a part of the State of Connecticut’s Policy Intergovernmental Policy Division grant to the Southern Connecticut Regional Council of Governments for the Regional Web-Based GIS program. The development of the parcel layer was started in 1998-1999 by East Coast Mapping of New Hampshire. East Coast created CAD Drawings for the Town of Wallingford generated through the digitization of Town of Wallingford’s Tax Maps. By use of stereoscopic techniques East Coast created a seamless parcel base from a 2000 aerial flight’s orthophoto’s (1x600ft scale). The CAD files and base were then given to the Wallingford’s Town Engineer who maintained the base. New England Geosystems of Middletown, CT received the CAD files from Wallingford in 2014 and converted the files to GIS format to create the parcel layer. Last Updated: April 2019
This data set contains parcel boundaries and associated attribute data for communities in NH. It is compiled and managed by the NH Department of Revenue Administration to support property tax equalization activities. The full project data set includes the GIS parcel mosaic layer and a linked CAMA database with approximately 50 attributes per parcel. A subset of those attributes is included here. See related document for an explanation of attribute codes. Note that attributes may not be available for all parcel polygons. In particular, they may not be available for multi-structure parcels.

Fire Stations in New Hampshire Any location where fire fighters are stationed or based out of, or where equipment that such personnel use in carrying out their jobs is stored for ready use. Fire Departments not having a permanent location are included, in which case their location has been depicted at the city/town hall or at the center of their service area if a city/town hall does not exist. This dataset includes those locations primarily engaged in forest or grasslands fire fighting, including fire lookout towers if the towers are in current use for fire protection purposes. This dataset includes both private and governmental entities. Fire fighting training academies are also included. This dataset is comprised completely of license free data. The Fire Station dataset and the EMS dataset were merged into one working file. TGS processed as one file and then separated for delivery purposes. Records with "-DOD" appended to the end of the [NAME] value are located on a military base, as defined by the Defense Installation Spatial Data Infrastructure (DISDI) military installations and military range boundaries. Text fields in this dataset have been set to all upper case to facilitate consistent database engine search results. All diacritics (e.g., the German umlaut or the Spanish tilde) have been replaced with their closest equivalent English character to facilitate use with database systems that may not support diacritics. The currentness of this dataset is indicated by the [CONTDATE] field. Based upon this field, the oldest record dates from 01/07/2005 and the newest record dates from 07/14/2008.
The shapefile contains the basic building blocks for voting districts in New Hampshire. For cities and for the town of Derry, where there are voting wards, the ward boundaries are shown and polygons are identified by ward. For towns and cities where there are no wards, the entire municipality is shown and named.
This public feature service is maintained for the Nashua Regional Planning Commission's (NRPC) member municipalities, their stakeholders, and the wider GIS community. The service contains the most frequently-requested, general-purpose GIS basemap datasets that are originated and maintained by NRPC. The service can be used by any software that can ingest an ESRI rest endpoint, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online.Edits to these datasets are made in NRPC's on-premise GIS database on an ongoing basis; online published data are refreshed weekly through an automatic script. This hosted feature view containing data specific to Merrimack, NH is a derivative of NRPC Open Data - All Communities feature service which is regional in nature; i.e., the geographic coverage includes the entire NRPC region. For convenience, NRPC has published community-specific hosted feature views for each of its 13-member communities. Non-GIS users are invited to browse the data in MapGeo, NRPC's interactive parcel viewer. The NPRC parcel datalayer contains property (land lot) boundaries and select attributes about each property. NRPC compiled this information over many years from various sources including original tax maps that were subsequently georeferenced and digitized by the Commission. As such, the data is suitable for tax assessment purposes but is not survey-quality.
The datalayer contains discrete, non-overlapping polygons. Non-contiguous lot areas are modelled as multi-part polygons. Public rights-of-way and water bodies are stored as non-numbered lots to void the creation of null voids in the parcel fabric. Parcels are edge-matched along town borders. Along the MA state border parcels conform to the Towns from Survey Points datalayer available from MassGIS; in most other cases the parcels are matched to the 1:24K town border datalayer (pba) derived from USGS topo maps and available from NH Granit. In cases where GIS parcel information did not conform to the USGS town boundary linework, NRPC interpreted tax map geography and dimensions and mapped parcel boundaries accordingly.
Over time, NRPC has maintained this database by monitoring the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds online database for recordings related to subdivisions, lot mergers, and lot line revisions. NRPC has maintained a very high match rate between the parcel database and corresponding assessing records. The cardinality between parcels and assessing records is 1:M; the normalized data herein is therefore published in an ESRI relationship class. In some cases, the NRPC edit may precede the corresponding update on the municipal property record card. For this reason, some parcels may not yet have a matching assessing record, or the parcel attributes may not be exactly consistent with the assessing record.
Disclaimer: These data are an NRPC interpretation of original source maps and are appropriate for planning purposes; they should not be utilized where legal and surveyed property boundaries are required. The most current property information is on file within each respective City or Town. Edges between towns in this dataset are not authoritative delineations of town boundaries. This feature class contains polygon data covering prescribed fire data by town for the state of New Hampshire for the years 2014 and 2015. Data includes who (state agencies, private landowners, etc.) conducted prescribed burns, in which town municipal burns were conducted, and the primary fuels and objectives of the burns. Data were derived from a comprehensive survey of town fire wardens, state and federal agencies, burn permit records, and private landowners/organizations.
