A project by NYC Planning Labs, NYC Street Map is an ongoing effort to digitize official street records, bring them together with other street information, and make them easily accessible to the public. With this app, you can find the official mapped width, name, and status of specific streets and how they may relate to specific properties. You can also see how the street grid has changed over time in your area.NYC Street Map combines 8000+ components of the official City Map with other street information into a seamless Citywide map. However, NYC Street Map does not contain all the information on the City Map and may have inaccuracies. The dataset contains the metadata provided on the NYC Honorary Street Names Map. The dataset will include City Council Introduction Number, the local law enactment number and date, category of change, borough, new name of the street or intersection, present name, limits, zip code, Introduced by Council Member(s), Biographical information of the individual, Notes, Longitude and Latitude coordinates.

Directory of suggested edits to information in NYC Street Tree Map. Users can suggest a different species, diameter, or other notes about the tree. Edits are reviewed by a NYC Street Tree Map administrator before they are incorporated into the Map. This directory tracks the content and status of each suggested edit.

This dataset compiles a comprehensive database containing 90,327 street segments in New York City, covering their street design features, streetscape design, Vision Zero treatments, and neighborhood land use. It has two scales-street and street segment group (aggregation of same type of street at neighborhood). This dataset is derived based on all publicly available data, most from NYC Open Data. The detailed methods can be found in the published paper, Pedestrian and Car Occupant Crash Casualties Over a 9-Year Span of Vision Zero in New York City. This dataset represents a compilation of data from various government agencies throughout the City of New York. The underlying geography is derived from the Tax Lot Polygon feature class that is part of the Department of Finance's Digital Tax Map (DTM). The tax lots have been clipped to the shoreline, as defined by NYCMap planimetric features. The attribute information is from the Department of City Planning's PLUTO data. The attribute data pertains to tax lot and building characteristics and geographic, political and administrative information for each tax lot in New York City.The Tax Lot Polygon feature class and PLUTO are derived from different sources. As a result, some PLUTO records do not have a corresponding tax lot in the Tax Lot polygon feature class at the time of release. These records are included in a separate non-geographic PLUTO Only table. There are a number of reasons why there can be a tax lot in PLUTO that does not match the DTM; the most common reason is that the various source files are maintained by different departments and divisions with varying update cycles and criteria for adding and removing records. The attribute definitions for the PLUTO Only table are the same as those for MapPLUTO. DCP Mapping Lots includes some features that are not on the tax maps. They have been added by DCP for cartographic purposes. They include street center 'malls', traffic islands and some built streets through parks. This data was collected as part of the Map the Moment initiative, a volunteer project to document the artwork and changes to the streetscape following the killing of George Floyd and the demonstrations that followed. This data was collected by Lisa Conte and processed by Joe Graham-Felsen. They used a Canon 5D Mark 3 to scan this data the various murals that appeared throughout the city. Broome Street runs east to west in Lower Manhattan, spanning nearly the entirety of Manhattan island. Amidst the Black Lives Matter demonstrations that defined the summer months of 2020, this street saw countless commercial spaces board up their windows with sheets of plywood. These boards were transformed into canvases for local artists and BLM supporters to express messages of justice and solidarity. A single line street base map representing the city's streets and other linear geographic features, along with feature names and address ranges for each addressable street segment. This dataset includes the Nodes file. The Nodes file contains a point feature and unique NodeID for each node that exists in the LION file. The Node_StreetName.txt file lists the street names associated with those nodes. Most nodes, representing intersections, will have at least 2 street names associated in the Node_StreetName.txt file.
