    Description

This resource is a member of a series. The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) System (MTS). The MTS represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. State Legislative Districts (SLDs) are the areas from which members are elected to state legislatures. The SLDs embody the upper (senate - SLDU) and lower (house - SLDL) chambers of the state legislature. Nebraska has a unicameral legislature, and the District of Columbia has a single council, both of which the Census Bureau treats as upper-chamber legislative areas for the purpose of data presentation; there are no data by SLDL for either Nebraska or the District of Columbia. A unique three-character census code, identified by state participants, is assigned to each SLD within a state. States that had SLDL updates between the previous and current session include Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, Washington, and Wisconsin. In Connecticut, Illinois, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, and Puerto Rico, the Redistricting Data Program (RDP) participant did not define the SLDLs to cover the entirety of the state or state equivalent area. In the areas with no SLDLs defined, the code "ZZZ" has been assigned, which is treated as a single SLDL for purposes of data presentation. There are no SLDL TIGER/Line shapefiles for the District of Columbia, Nebraska, and the Island Areas (American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and the U.S. Virgin Islands). The state legislative district boundaries reflect information provided to the Census Bureau by the states by May 31, 2024.

    Description

The map shows the addresses of NYS school districts. Each school district is color coded according to the percentage of enrolled students current school year that were fully immunized. A flyout with specific information about a school district will appear when you hover over a point on the map. The School Immunization Survey collects aggregate data from schools in New York State regarding the immunization status of all the students attending school. All schools, excluding New York City public schools, have reported the immunization status of all students in grades kindergarten through 12. When a school submits the survey data, it is a snap shot of the immunization status of the students at the time the survey is completed. New York City public schools report the immunization status of all students via the Automate the Schools system (ATS). The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene provides the aggregate data by district to the New York State Department of Health. Description

These GIS files represent geographic boundaries for lands that are under the protection of NYS Agricultural District Law, administered by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. The boundaries are derived from New York State Agricultural District, 1:24,000-scale, maps produced at county agencies. The district boundaries correspond to tax parcel data. District boundaries are joined into a file representing all of the Agricultural Districts within an entire county. Note that 2003 legislation allows lands to be added to districts on an annual basis. Electronic data provided here may predate those additions. When annual additions are included, an additional field (OEadds303b) is added to the attribute table; the dates of the annual additions listed in that field. Tax parcel detail and secondary rights-of-way are not included in this dataset. Rights-of-way for state and federal highways, railroads and utilities are only included when they are delineated on the original 1:24,000 scale maps. The data files are in ArcGIS shapefile format.
